Very easy to break in and extremely comfortable. I wear these daily because I am on my feet all day for work. I often replace my pairs due to the extended use.

First time customer. I need a wide box due to Morton's Neuroma and these fit fine. I may go with more of a running shoe next time but these are comfortable for casual use. Shipping and service was great.

I did notice that some of the material was cracked and scaly. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be. I’ve had these about a month and they have held up pretty good. The reflective sides are good for walking at night.

These are pretty comfortable for such a reasonable price. I wear them for 40 hrs. a week at work. No problems at all from day one. I love Zappos!

Great shoes. Feature the NB proved comfort-fitting interior (specially for wide feet people). Color is cool. I use them both at the gym during workouts, and out in the street when casual dressing. Was surprised though with the low quality of the sewing. After only a few uses, the stitches in different areas of the shoe started coming off. Usually NB shoes are more hardcore and stay put for long periods, but these seem to by some sort of "softies" within the family.

Great shoes - a little narrow for the typical NB 'D' width, but overall good casual sneakers. I have had several pairs of the 574 over the years and they are pretty consistent.

I needed a pair of athletic shoes realy fast and Zappos.com delivered. It was exactly what I ordered and the fit was perfect.

They're not as good as I was hoping for casual running, but they're nice enough for general wear.

Stylish. Needs a bit more cushion. I replaced their inserts with my own, much better now. If your feet tend to underpronate, these might not be for you. I feel like these roll my ankle outward a bit. Other than that, great shoe. Seems sturdy and should hold up to frequent wear.

These shoes are super comfortable! I'm actually on my 2nd pair. First pair came apart at the inseam in about three weeks, but I explained this over the phone to Zappos and they let me replace the first pair at no charge.

Great shoes...very cool, comfortable and stylish. Great with some slim fit dark jeans and a plaid shirt - black socks a must!

These shoes are awesome. They go with blue jeans nicely and I use them for both casual attire and working out. It's supportive and cushiony enough...if that's a word. If I had one gripe it would be that it's kind of a pain to clean any scuffs or marks off the grey suede. Otherwise these are great shoes and if you wear them then you'll be like Leo Dicaprio on that boat thinking you're the king of the world!

These shoes are extremely comfortable, and fit my foot perfectly with arch support. Great buy!

Delivered very quickly. Product looks nice. I was a little surprised when I tried them on to find them a little snug. This is the third pair of 574 (all D width) I have purchased, but the first time they felt snug? Maybe my foot grew? Anyway, very stylish shoe!

The leather failed along a three-inch length along the front half of the inner side of the right shoe. Failed within 15 minutes of my first wearing. Which was as I was boarding a plane to Germany. Not Zappos fault that Chinese labor does not always value quality assurance. I'll hopefully get back to the US within the return period. This model costs a lot more when bought from Amazon.de

Old school, comfy (to a point, could use a new insert), simple, and sturdy. I only wish the wide ones came in more colorful designs, the current line up is a bit drab for my taste. As always, Zappos' service remains unparalleled in its excellence.

Comfortable fit, typical New Balance quality at a bargain price. Be prepared for the bright, shiny vinyl trim on the uppers and heel, however. The all black shoes are much flashier than they appear to be online.

I bought these sneakers as a gift and overall they are great sneakers but definitely run small. I would defiitely advise to order 1-1 1/2 sizes larger than regular street shoe size and if your foot is the slightest bit wide, than definitely order either a wide or go for the 1 1/2 sizes bigger. These sneakers do not run the same size as other New Balance sneakers. Otherwise they are a great pair of looking sneakers!

Great sneakers! I choose New Balance because of their excellent arch support and overall comfort. My pick were the gray/black/blue shoes; they work well with jeans and can be matched up with almost any shirt.

These are very comfortable, classic looking shoes . I don't use them for running, but my everyday tennis shoe. The couple of times I have jogged up the street to get somewhere fast, I was amazed at the cushion/bounce in the heel. I can see why they are so popular for running. This is my first pair of 574s, I usually buy the 900 series, but wanted to try a less expensive option. They were a little tight at first, but have since stretched out to be an almost perfect fit. I am a 10½ regularly - next time I will buy an 11. Overall, great shoe, great price point. Zappos' service is wonderful.

Purchased to give as a gift and had to go up a half size for proper fit. Gift recipient said the New Balance Classics M574s felt somewhat narrow and tight. Style remains classic New Balance.

Love this shoe, just like the were years ago, super comfortable. The only drawback it the toe box is a little on the small/tight side.

Build quality not quite as good as previous versions, but still nice. Sizing runs a bit small and narrow. Would be nice if New Balance 574's still came in wide widths.

Would be better if New Balance still offered M574 in wide widths. Nicely constructed, but the quality is not up to par with previous New Balance 574's I've purchased in the past. Sizing runs a bit small.

This shoe fit very well. I have lots of problems with shoes. I need a fuller toe box with a narrow heel and this fits the bill. Very happy to find.
