Very light-weight. Very comfortable. I was actually looking for a pair of trail runners, but these shoes caught my eye. They probably aren't the shoe for a 4-mile run, but they're very comfortable for 4-mile walks. If you're looking for non-fluorescent shoes for walking, these are good.

The shoes came quickly and without damage. They are both comfortable, and are effective for my work place. Thank you for your product Zappos.

I ordered these for my husband in the navy suede/canvas combination. The photo makes the shoes look navy and orange, but upon arrival the colors were actually navy and tan. I am returning them because the colors just do not have as much pizazz as we would like. I am sure they are otherwise comfortable shoes (he did not even try them on).

This was my first pair of New Balances and will prob be my last. The sole wore out in less than two months. They were spectacular the first month though. Shame I already have to get rid of them.

Very comfortable and lightweight. True to size compared to my other pairs of NB. I'm on my feet all day and these are great, plus the colors rock.

I have never bought a pair of sneakers that have prompted as much positive feedback as the pair of red ones I bought via zappos.com. Zappos offers product quality and service second to none in the vast Internet retail world. If asked, I would not hesitate to promote Zappos offered products all over the planet.

Very durable and lightweight. Mesh material ventilates very well. Some of the logo and trim finish a little too glossy. Definitely would buy another pair.

These look great with jeans, and I've owned 4 different colors since 2005. Keep making them NB! I'll keep buying them!

I am absolutely delighted with the fit and comfort of the New Balance M574. Most other shoes have rather pointed toes but these are more squared off and allow room for all of my toes. This is my first pair of these and if they continue to make them, I will be regular customer.

These were a gift for my fiance. They are excellent. The color is more of a teal (green/blue) than an aqua as appears in the picture.

So comfortable it's similar to walking on foam bare foot. So light and soft withing the shoe to the point it feels as if the NB is massaging my foot as I walk. Feels like I stole Spidermans shoes, just need the outfit now.

This is a great all around 'gym' shoe. Comfortable whether walking, jogging, or cycling. Looks cool and comes in a wide variety of colors. Good arch support and firm sole. It's a light shoe, doesn't weigh much. Gets you where you want to go without 'heavy' feet. Made with breathable mesh which keeps feet smelling fresh. Best of all it's priced right and comes with Zappos excellent return policy.

I wanted a shoe strictly for work. I needed something that provided support and was comfortable and but didn't look like a basketball shoe. The NB Classics fit the bill - sneaker but came in a color that I can wear with khakis or jeans and a polo or button-down that I typically wear to work. I've had them about two months and so far so good. Holding up well and at the end of the day my feet and back don't hurt, a huge plus. We'll see how long they last. I've gotten compliments on them, a new one for me...a guy.

14EE new balance classics are perfect for wide flat feet. Nice casual shoe. Not a perfect running shoe.

Excellent! First of all, these were shipped so fast. Second, I have been buying the same pair of shoes for over 8 years in different colors. They are so comfortable.

These shoes are marvelous. Very good support and long- lasting. I'm going to keep ordering this shoe in the future. Great width and fit , too.

My finace, after weeks of shopping for a new, perfect sneaker, found this New Balance Classic on Zappos, and with much excitement placed an order with my Zappos account. We paid for overnight shipment, and after 2 days did not receive. When I called the Zappos customer service number, we were helped right away, very little telephone wait time, and the representative was cool, understanding and able to refund us for the shoe and shipment fee. The problem was with UPS and if there is anything negative to say about Zappos, it's that I wish they would switch to the slightly more competent delivery service that is Fedex. (I have very rarely in life experienced UPS to delivery when they say they will.) The New Balance shoe itself ended up being slightly too large for his foot, but this is the struggle he is always facing. He is a 12.5, and most companies stop making half sizes after 12, so he often has to squeeze into a 12 or make due with a slightly larger 13. If this shoe was made in a 12.5, it would have been perfect.

Exactly as advertised, quality construction and very comfortable. These are not made in the USA but I purchased New Balance because they do still make some in America.

Smart-looking shoes to be sure, but the outer fabric is sewn onto the inside of the shoe so that seams and flaps of fabric rub against the arches of my feet with every step I take. These would be great shoes but for this lapse in manufacturing quality.

I am a girl but have worn the NB Classics 574 in gray for many years. I needed to purchase a stylish pair of sneakers for an upcoming trip to Seattle where I will be walking everywhere. I didn't like any of the women's colors in this 574 style but I loved the men's red. I normally wear an 8.5 women's shoe but ordered it in the men's size 7 (women's 9). NB suggests women order one and a half rather than 2 sizes down in Men's shoes. I was worried the 7s would be too big on my feet but they fit perfectly and offer amazing support and comfort. I love the way these sneakers feel and will wear them for years to come.

I absolutely love my new kicks! I ordered them 1.5 sizes smaller as Zappos suggested, since I'm a woman. I think these shoes are great for men and women alike. Super cute and definitely comfortable! As always, the transaction with Zappos was smooth and easy. I always feel at ease with purchasing from this website because I know if it doesn't work out, I can return things hassle-free. I've had these a few weeks now and wear them about 5 days a week between an office job and standing on concrete in the studio and at the dance club. They broke in quickly and easily. There is a little extra room in the toe but my feet don't slide around - I don't think I would order a half size smaller because the width feels good at this size. I wouldn't mind more arch support, but I probably need orthopedic insoles after years of track spikes causing damage to my feet. I'll be buying more pairs of these sneakers in other colors!
