The shoe came perfect but after 2 days it split on the upper side. I called Zappos and the happily sent me a new pair the next day with a return shipping box. Service is astonishing.

This shoe is smaller than advertised. I wear a 12 and this shoe is closer to an 11. I would return it but I tossed the packing and wore it. Sadly. It's not quite as pretty as the photograph either.

I found this to be very comfortable. So far I've worn it only around the house for now as I just got it. I bought this for the extra toe room and motion control. It feels very good and comfortable. There is a difference with this being built with the SL-2 last vs. the SL-1. I would strongly recommend this sneaker, and Zappos service is great and quick! Never did I hear of a year to return shoes and free shipping either way! Awesome!

I have very wide feet and I rarely find shoes that feel comfortable on my feet right out of the box. In the past I have encountered shoes that are billed as the wide width variety, but when put to the test would quite possibly require days or weeks of wear in order to break in. Shoes that feel too tight or too restrictive when I first put them on are not for me at all. I for one do not have the time or wherewithal to go through a "break in" process and typically stick to shoe brands that best accommodate my feet. Whether you are looking for an affordable yet comfortable shoe for everyday use, or for a shoe to wear to the gym, look no further than the New Balance Classics M574. They are great shoe to wear right out of the box and the retro look and feel makes them even more attractive in my humble opinion. I would definitely recommend this shoe to anyone seeking a product endorsement.

These are great shoes. My son wears a size 15 so it is difficult to find nice shoes for him. These are true to size and look great.

Definitely for guys that like a firm foot bed. I prefer some cushion, and these provide practically none. Great style/colors, though.

Great shoes! I wanted something to wear casually that would be comfortable at the same time and these shoes fit the bill on both.

I just got these today. I am used to the 990 series but I thought that I would try these because they are considerably cheaper. Well, I could tell immediately that these are no 993s in quality, though they look similar. They are narrower and smaller. I am surprised that most people have not noted this. But the M574 still seems like they are good shoes so I will probably return them for half a size larger and EE width, and give them a try. Or I may try the 587 instead, which is more expensive than the 574 but still less than the 993, which is now out of range of my budget.

I have wide feet and the M574 is very comfy. Also, they are cool looking in a retro way.

I love these sneaks! They are comfortable, have excellent support, and look great with jeans or in shorts. Zappos was patient with me, as I returned several other models before finding these. I surely hope New Balance keeps producing these because I'll be ordering more down the road.

I got a pair of these and they fit great! What gets me is how fast you get them. I ordered them on Wed. approx. 4:30 and had them the next day. It's like Santa magic. Zappos you rock!

Amazing! Shoes felt great and I received my shoes very fast. The size was wrong but the next day I received my new size shoes and they were perfect.

Have had my M574s for a week now and I have to say that they are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever had. I am thinking about ordering a second pair in a different color already. Thank you Zappos for your great service too.

I love this shoe! You can use it for everything and New Balance makes so many colors you can buy multiple pairs for different outfits. They are very durable and comfortable. Great support. My feet always look forward to putting these shoes on.

I learned of Zappos from a young stylish fashionable lady I dsted in 2008. I promise you will have no complaints. Best online service in the market and very fair especially with shipping fees.

Overall I'm really happy with these shoes, mainly because I like the way they look. In terms of quality, they definitely feel shoddier than the New Balances that cost twice as much. I guess you get what you pay for. They also feel a bit bigger in size. Overall they are comfortable, attractive and affordable shoes that were probably made by slaves somewhere.

Very comfortable and stylish. Wish the wide EE width was a bit wider and more true to size, but it works!

This shoe is unbelievable. I have been a Nike guy for nearly 15 years so I was a bit skeptical about getting a new balance. I usually spend a lot for Nikes and I felt like that was the norm. Needless to say, I didn't expect much from the NBC M574. Wow, was I wrong! I put this pair on and walked around the house for 3o minutes. I was having a toe-gasm with every step. I didn't want to take them off. I am on my feet for 8-10 hours a day in a high paced work environment and this is going to be my go-to shoe for years to come. The fit is perfect(2E) and the support is just right. Thank you Zappos and thank you NB. So long Nike.

Purchased this sneaker for my son and he absolutely loves it. He wears them for walking; the fit is great. Zappos has the best return policy. I am a big fan of Zappos, keep up the good customer service.

Great shoe. Cool retro look. The shoe is more light brown than gray, however. Great NB fit, very light weight and comfortable.
