Best work boots you can buy - I work in an assembly plant, on my feet 8 hours per day, and never have a moment of discomfort. The only steel toed boots I've owned that didn't have a painful break in period. My work even supplies free steel toed boots, but I'd rather pay for these.

Dr. Martens like having a podiatrist with you at all times - Dr Martens are now and always have been te most comfortable work boot I have ever worn and I have been in construction for 17yrs. and they are second to none! Also Zappos was the most enjoyable shopping online experience I have ever had super customer service and super fast shipping awesome awesome awesome!!!

Good boots - The boot fits very well and is very comfortable. I'm used to wearing boots and like it a lot. One of the best boots I've owned.

Great fit, very comfortable - This shoe feels great. As soon as I laced them up and started walking I knew I had purchased a high quality steel toe. The best part about it is that before the show shipped (which was the same day I purchased it and upgraded to second day), I received an email letting me know they were knocking $5 off the price just because the bax was messed up. Unbeatable customer service.

The best boot to stand in for 12hrs! These are the best work boots I have ever had, I have had Dr. Marten's before but not for work. They actually have bounce and cushion that kept my dogs from barkin. Where I work the floor has oil and metal cutting coolant on it and I never slipped once, the grip is unbelievable!

Why not sooner? My husband is on his feet at work ALL DAY and was too concerned about cost to buy Doc's. BUT all the money he spent on insoles etc could have bought about 5 pairs! HE LOVES THEM!

8836 docs - Have worn these shoes for 3 years. Very comfortable shoe but a little heavy. You do get used to them. The only problem I have is the wear on the heel. In 6 months I have the outer heal worn down and are looking for more to purchase. I end up buying the same model.

Dr Marten's 8836 - Extremely comfortable. They're like wearing slippers, instead of work boots.

Dr. Marten 8836 steel toe work shoes - Dr. Marten product quality is excellent. When the sizes are selected correctly based knowing that for men's size UK8 is the same as size US9, then the shoes fit fine. The leather and sole material are of the highest quality and are nearly impossible to wear out!

Best Shoe I ever owned! I love my shoes, I wear them daily, they still look new, and they are extremely comfortable. They are excellent!!

Great boots - These boots meet all work standards and are comfortable, too. There is no need for a real "breaking in" period. They feel great from the start. Well made. Look nice. It's amazing that they arrived on my porch in only 1 day. Fantastic service!

C'mon they're Docs - They rock, they're comfortable and industrial. There is no better boot to where when you have to wear boots all day.

Awesome boots - These boots are so comfortable, and they look great! I love them.

I work in a paper mill and am on my feet for 12 hr shifts. They are heavy and my ankles hurt at first but not any more. I've tried 4 different brands of steel toed boots and these are the best. Roomy toebox, cushioning, and arch support are good for me. Had them 10 months. They do get ugly when they are beat up, though, but I don't care. Euro sizing is weird for me. Docs don't seem the same as other Euro sized shoes. Zappos is the best. Got the wrong size at first. No problem swapping. I'll be getting more next year.

Are You Kidding ME?!!!! This can't be real!!! I live in Arcata, CA, close Oregon in NorCal. I ordered a ton of shoes at 3:00pm yesterday at standard 5-day shipping. Got an e-mail later in the afternoon saying that they are going to upgrade my shipping to 1 business day, for free! I think they recognize that I have good taste!!! j/k Anyways, UPS comes knocking on my door at 9:45am this morning with a huge Zappos box! That is not physically possible!!! 3:00pm yesterday and 9:45am today?!! Their warehouse is in Kentucky!!! It was CREEPY fast! I'm not even in a major Metropolitian area! I've heard a lot about Zappos service, but this time, I'm overwhelmed. They are not happy unless you are absolutely ear-to-ear with a HUGE smile. I still can't believe it as I sit here.

I've had these boots for three years now. Lasted 2 full years before showing any physical damage. Damage sustained: holes in both toes and one broken eyelet. I'm a mechanic full time and these have taken quite a bit of abuse. Bad points: sole gave practically no dry grip when pushing on a shop floor; however, was not "slippery" and not much arch support. Great boot all around, but a bit pricey.

Take time to break this in. These are very cute boots, but they are heavy and caused blisters on my heels the first few times I wore them.

Great Looking Boot - These boots look great with a variety of outfits, but they are extremely heavy (likely due to the steel toe).

Great work boot - As others have said, true to Dr. Martens, the first few hours are a little tight. Anyone who has worn a DR. M work boot can relate. For those who have not, it will take a little time for the boot to fit your foot, but trust me it’s worth it.
