Great Boots! I work on a concrete surface for 12 hrs. a day and have a problem finding a boot that is wide enough where my big toes don't get squeezed in the toe box of a steel toe shoe. These are the most comfortable boots I have yet to find! If you need a wider boot, then these are the boot for you!

Best work boots I've had. Just like Docs they are great. The toe cup is very wide so it does not hit your toes. I have not found another boot with this wide toe. They really are great. Not to mention Zappos had them at my house two days after I ordered them. Very surprised, I will continue to buy from Zappos.

Great Boot! 4th pair of Doc Marten boots I've bought. Super comfortable (and I spend all day on my feet--ladders, on concrete, on roofs). The soles last about a year, the laces wear out in 6 months. If you spend a lot of time kneeling, expect to wear a hole through to the steel toe before the soles wear out.

Last pair of boots you'll ever need- I bought my first pair of Docs in London almost 10 years ago. The salesman told me of the extended break-in period. I was prepared for about a week of mangled feet, as was the case with most other boots I've tried. Much to my surprise, the break-in period lasted as long as it took me to lace them up. I went on walkabout in Europe for a month in them and not a sore hoof the entire time! Since then I've bought 3 more pair, and work in a warehouse environment. The steel-toe saves my piggies, and they're comfy enough to keep on for an 18 hour shift. Since they take abuse well, I only buy a new pair every 2-3 years.

First Dr. Martens ever! Heavy boot, It should be durable for all types of weather and surfaces. Kinda slippery in the snow and high gloss floors. It keeps my feet dry and has plenty of room even with the steel toe.

Dr. Martens all the way- My husband works security in a popular local club & wanted a good sturdy yet comfortable pair of steel toed boots for work. He wears a size 13 shoe and we live in Fayetteville AR so needless to say shopping for him is difficult and the selection is very limited. We went to our local mall to get an idea of exactly what size he would wear in Dr Martens then promptly came home & checked out your site. Long story short he LOVES these boots and has sworn to never wear another brand. He can't stop raving about how comfortable they are especially after spending 10hrs on his feet. Amazing boots- I have these boots...and I got to say... THEY ARE AMAZING. At first I was apprehensive towards them. Their weight seemed a bit much at first, but after only a few hours of wearing them I was getting used to them. Breaking in isn't as hard and painful as breaking in some other steel toe boots (you know what I'm talking about). The non-slip sole is everything I thought it would be, and more. Great for working on slick surfaces (those with oil spills, auto shops, wet floors). Zappos was also great in upgrading my shipping to over night, FOR FREE! Zappos also beat out their competitors’ price! Order was shipped the same day I ordered (SATURDAY) and I had received my boots by Monday! Amazing! I don't think I will ever own a different boot than Dr. Martens. Will do business with Zappos again!

Nice Boots - I love these boots. It takes some time to get used to the weight but these boots are great. I just bought a house so I'm sure I'll get them nice and broken in with all the work I plan on doing.

The End of Sore Feet- I stumbled onto Doc's and Zappos by typing “Work Shoes for Concrete.” The sizing is not the same as other shoes (i.e. size 10 Red Wings equated to size 11 Docs) but it was no problem to exchange them, and this happened within 2-3 business days. These shoes are the best things that have been on my feet. I am a heavy equipment mechanic, and spend a lot of time on concrete shop floors. Within three days of wearing the Doc's, my chronic foot and lower leg ache subsided, and I even wore them on Sunday because they felt so much better than my athletic shoes. The support and walking stability of these shoes is better than I had hoped for, and they seem to be lighter than the Red Wings that I had. I have ordered my second pair of Doc's (7Z02) within a week of the 8836's. Thanks to Zappos for their good service and friendly people in the return dept. This was the easiest and best shoe shopping I have had, and I'll do it again.

My favorite boots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8-6, monday to friday, I love my boots! I spend at least 10 hours a day on my feet, on concrete, in grease and oil. I have been getting these boots for about 5 years now, and I give my aproval!!! a pair a year, I guess? But I do a lot of high speed mileage!!!!!!!!! I'm a harsh critic, and I give these boots my stamp of time tested aproval! Bouncing soul!

Great shoe - This is a terrific shoe. It not only looks great, but it is also very comfortable and it felt true to size.

Loved everything about this order! Very thorough customer service and the prices were awesome. The free shipping lead me to order and when customer service upgraded the shipment to expedited service at no extra charge, I had the boots within three days of ordering. Will most definitely do business with Zappos.com again!

Perfect work boot! Awesome shoes if your on your feet working all day! I know these ones are going to last a lot longer than any other boot I have ever owned.

Quality - A boot that maintains the Doc Martens tradition of quality craftsmanship and durability. They have a very rugged feel to them and despite the overall weight, these boots give the feeling of walking on air. They suit my workplace needs perfectly and they're stylish enough to wear out and about.

Great Shoe - I bought this shoe for my husband who used to wear Redwings, but did not find them durable for construction. Hopefully these will hold up better. He found them comfortable from the day he got them and so far loves the boot!

Docs are great - I ordered these for my son who wears a size 14 so it goes without saying how excited we are when we find shoes in his size for less than we can order them locally. Thanks again Zappos...I tell everyone about your company!

A cool steel toe shoe - Zappos does a great job delivering things on time, and the return policy is great. I have tiny size 5 feet and this is the one place I can find my size instead of thumbing thru the kids section. I wear these shoes to work everyday and they are great and comfortable. Everyone compliments me on how they look and its cushiony sole is great!

No complaints just what I wanted - Some how these boots seem to be soft enough that they are extremely comfortable yet hard enough they don't wear quick, a lot of the hunting type boots I'm used too have real soft black spongy rubber that wears real quick on concrete and will mark floors too, not the case with the docs they seem hard for durability yet the actual boot itself has been designed well enough that it can be very comfortable and still have a good pure rubber sole that does not wear. I have a pair of the low cut shoes I have had for 4 years and the only wear on them is a rip my dog put in one but they still wear great! Only thing to beware of is the distressed leather is hard to take care of after it gets wet a few times it will discolor from the creamy brown to dark brown other than that great boots!

First time wearing Martens - I heard that Doctor Martens were among the best work boots there are. I was disappointed that there were no half sizes offered here. I began to get slight blisters on the heels. After they have been worn for a bit, I no longer have the blisters. I am very happy with this boot and will buy again.

Excellent boots - I find these boots to be the best and these are the first ones. They are real comfortable on your feet.

Great Work Boots! These boots will put your feet in heaven, I work 12 hours a day 7 days a week on concrete and these boots just rock!

Comfort and protection - The boot is comfortable and with the steel toe and non-slip sole it is perfet for someone on there feet all day and working in an enviroment with greese or oil on the floor. It is not a heavy boot for a steel toe or for someone used to wearing work boots. It is very comfortable. All I wear is dr. Marten's boots. Love them...

As good as it gets - I am a FD Paramedic and can be in the same bootys for as long as 24 hours. These boots are my 2nd pair of DMs and I will probably never change. Thet are as comfortable as a boot can get and are the best looking boot out there bar none. A nice broad toe and great design. The pictures DO NOT DUE JUSTICE to this boot. My experience with Zappos was perfect and the delivery was all but immediate. The transaction could not have gone better. I will be a return customer and hopefully these boots will still be available. Thay are perfect in every way
