Wonderful!!! I've had these boots for 4 months and work in a warehouse 5 days a week walking around 8 miles a day. My feet have felt no throbbing or pain at all wearing these. They are also very stylish...one of the best shoes I've ever bought, worth every penny.

Best, longest lasting, most comfortable work boot! My job keeps me on my feet all day, and this boot is comfortable, long wearing, and gives me the kind of support I need. I've tried different boots, and always come back to this one, and won't buy anything else again!

Stylish workhorses - These boots are the Cadillac’s of boots. All the great reviews should tell you that. You will not be disappointed. Zappos is the ONLY place to buy shoes on the web. PERIOD.

The Best!!! These are the best work boots hands down. Better than any other boot I've worn, including Red Wings, and they last much, much longer. And unlike most work boots these are comfortable right out of the box, no break in time required. You will not be disappointed with these boots.

Boots are the Bomb! Recommended! Comfortable boot, heavy duty. Great construction site boot. I normally wear a women’s 7 but I got a women’s 6 / men’s 5. They are heavy in weight but comfortable and they only took a few days to break in. When I walk through deep puddles on the job site, my feet stay completely dry - totally waterproof. Would definitely buy Doc Martens again. Plus they are way kewl looking. Highly recommended.

Better than expected - Very comfortable, warm, required no break in period - The first time wearing them was a 10 hour work day spent mostly on concrete. My feet felt fine.

Great boots, one small issue - I bought these boots for general semi-casual wear that would also provide the various martial benefits of a steel toe. I know a bit about boots, being a former infantry soldier and cop. These are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn out of the box. Better than the Hi-tech style in comfort, which I did not expect. Great quality and you certainly don't want to get kicked with them. My only issue is that the suede style leather cannot be polished. I did not expect that. Otherwise, they are ideal urban boots with a bit of style, if you do not mind their weight.

Love my Docs - I work for the railroad and my boots are everything to me. They get used hard and have out lasted any other boots I have had! Plain and simple, Dr. Marten's are the best!

BEST WORK BOOTS!! This is my second pair. It takes about a day to break in but they are never uncomfortable! I will purchase these again and again! I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Good lookin' work boot - After just two weeks these are my all time favorite work boots. Comfortable, sturdy, and stylish.

Most comfortable work boot - The most comfortable and only pair of steel-toe work boots I'm able to wear. No breaking-in needed, no sore toes.

Best Work Boots - I buy these boots for my son. He wears a 14 which is difficult to find and he has very flat feet. These offer him such great support that he's able to work in them for hours without pain. The price is fabulous too! The first pair we bought in a retail store and paid nearly a lot.

Great Boot! Saw these on another guy at work. My last boots wore down in just 6 months of walking on steel decks and non-skid. He said these would last a long time....so we'll see! After a one day break in they feel great. (1st days was a 12 hour day) Used the DM Balsam on them before I laced them up. So far so good!

Better than Red Wing - Had a pair of Red Wings for two years. These are by far much better than the much cherished Red Wings. A little heavy but you get used to them.

Doc Martins are the best! I have 5 pairs of Doc Martens boots (all work boots except 1) and 2 pairs of sandals - there is just no getting around it: Docs are EXTREMELY well made and comfortable. The soles are always amazing - I have never completely worn out a pair. This boot is the most "heavy duty" that I have owned - with a very serious steel toe. In fact this pair feels a little heavier than other styles I have worn - not uncomfortably so, just something I noted. As long as you note the UK sizing, they fit true tom size. By the way - Zappos is the best.

GREAT SHOE!!!! This really is a great shoe, it is my first Doc Martens purchase because of the trend in the 90's but I really do love this shoe and it's very well built. The outer sole is soft and bouncy so it's a pleasure to wear. The insole was a joke so I took them out and put MAGNUMS M-P.A.C.T. insoles (Made with memory foam, you know the stuff they make pillows and mattresses from, now no knee or lower back pain) in them and now I have the most comfortable shoes. I was scared because of the long break in period that I heard Doc's are known for but they felt great out of the box, my toe on the right side rubbed on the steel toe a tad but was completely gone the next day. I used Doc Martens wonder balm after the first day and that really made a difference to soften the leather even more, Great stuff! My only concern with this shoe is that the outer sole is soft (AIR WAIR) that I wonder how long it will last. But the quality of the leather is great.

Quality Work Boots - These boots seemed to run a bit big in the toes (but that could be because they are steel toed). Wear long socks when working / breaking them in because they rub your ankles and can cause blisters with shorter socks (from the high-tops). Very rugged and durable work boots.

Fantastic work boots - I've had 2 pairs of these boots last FOUR YEARS. Comfortable on concrete and any other dry surfaces. I didn't find them to be good on slippery surfaces (wet grate or ice), but I leave them at work now, so that's not a problem. I really beat on these boots working upwards of 60 hours a week and even splashing chemicals around doesn't seem to stop them. I just picked up a second pair for "fashion wear", since the style is classic DM's.

Great Product, Great Company- No Better Way to Buy Shoes - I work in EMS and need shoes that can protect my feet from blood, fuel, water, etc. These boots get it done. I bought a smaller pair at a local store and couldn’t return them since I had worn them about a month before I realized my toes were jammed on the side of the steel part. Zappos to the rescue, my shoes are comfy and they arrived so quickly I was amazed. If there is a better way to purchase shoes, I'm not aware of it.

Nice - Shoe took a little longer to break in, because of the steel toe, but now that I am used to them, they are incredibly comfortable...I would sleep in them, if the wife would let me

I've worn this boot to work for a year and a half. Very happy with it. Worn in snow, mud, up ladders, and construction sites. Non slip sole is excellent. I work in a lot of commercial kitchens with wet floors, never slipped, while others skated around. Great all around boot. I really like the ease of lacing and unlacing them.

Great shoes - Dr. Martens are great shoes. I am on my 5th pair now and still have 3 of them wearing them till there is nothing left. They have been really good for me and comfort, and wear is the best part about them.
