Brooks's Beast - In regards to the Brooks's Beast, so far I'm impressed. The shoe fits well, and is very comfortable. In the past, I have not had good luck with Brooks's shoes. While they are good out of the box, it seems they lose their cushion and support after 1 month. Why did I buy another pair of Brooks then, well I was impressed by this new MoGo system. I'm hard on my shoes, having a large frame, flat wide feet, and logging 10miles a day on my shoes, either the shoe makes it or not is quickly realized. As I said before, so far, so good. The shoe absorbs the shock better than other models from Brooks, and is very supportive. The shoe holds my foot very well without being confining and the heel area is great. I have not tried the Beast model before, and it is fulfilling it's prior reviews. The styling and color of the shoes are a vast improvement over the older models from Brooks. The construction of this shoe appears to be a winner, as it leaves New Balance in the dust. As with New Balance, I have found that it is better to order 1/2 to 1 size larger, than your normal shoe size, but the width is right on. So far, this shoe delivers, what New Balance claims in their foot wear. Zappos makes it too easy to shop for the correct pair of shoes, and their dedication to customer satisfaction is second to none. You can buy from Zappos with the knowledge that everything in their power will be done to provide you with the best fitting shoe, for the best price, or just simply return them without any hassle.

Beast review - This shoe fit better than other 4E shoes because it was wide from heel to toe. New Balance is wider in the toe box but not in mid-sole and heel. I had to replace the insoles with a different type as there was a sore spot under the ball of the left foot. I was willing to keep the shoe and do this because it fit so well otherwise. Dr. Scholl's gel inserts work well for me. These shoes were slightly more expensive than other brands but if you need this size shoe you have to suck it up. The quality is much better than other brands that make shoes this wide. Remove the insole and it's obvious the stitching and craftsmanship are better than New Balance.

Nice shoe - Runs a half size short for me, so I ordered a 9.5 rather than a 9 and the fit was great. Great width. Snug, not binding. Very stable for those of us whose feet don't want to go straight.

The Beast - Is an upscale running and workout shoe... pricey, but certainly worth the bucks. Great shoe for those with ankle and foot issues. Gives terrific support. Am into my 10th pair!

Brooks Beast - My podiatrist prescribed a good motion control shoe and this was on the list that was provided to me. These shoes are very comfortable. I never knew what I was missing as far as support and comfort. I was so happy with these that I bought the Brooks Addiction Walking shoe as well.

They look better in person than the picture - I love the shoe. It is much lighter that other Beast I had. I love it.

Wow! I recently went to a specialty running shoe store, and they suggested this shoe for me. I am a big guy with big wide feet, but I do have a high arch. The shoe that they suggested was a 14 2EE, and I am used to wearing a 13. The Beast they had in the store was an older model with a not so appealing look, so I did not purchase them. Thanks to Zappos, I was able to find some that looked appealing. Well, these shoes are more than that...they are very comfortable. I ran yesterday in the new shoes and my ankles, knees, and hips felt great afterward. I expect the shoe to become more comfortable after breaking them in. I am hooked! Zappos customer service could not be any better! Thank you!

My feet will never again stray - The Brooks Beast is the most comfortable out-of-the-box shoe I have ever worn. I need the wide size options and the lateral stability and the Beast offers both. Not a cheap shoe, but worth every penny. I only wish they came in black, like the Addiction, since I need to wear black shoes at work.

Excellent shoe - I found the Brooks Beast to be an excellent shoe for my needs.

Over Pronators Best Friend - This is my second pair of Brooks Beast running shoes and they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I was having a lot of heel/foot pain prior to purchasing these shoes and now have no pain at all. Anyone with flat feet should seriously consider buying these shoes at any cost.

My tired aching feet. I am required as a nurse to work 12hr shifts on cement or hard surface floors. I have owned several brand names and styles of shoes, but the Brooks Beast have them all beat. The Brooks Beast offered the width, that I often could not find in other brands, the exceptional comfort, and adequate air flow to keep my feet from getting too hot. I did buy a size larger than what I wear. I would recommend this shoe for anyone.

Brooks Beast Rocks… This is my 3rd pair, and the shoe is as advertised. I am extremely hard on shoes, and this has held up with the best of them so far, as my other pairs have as well. Truly a great motion control shoe.

The Beast is Working for Me - I'm a relatively big guy with "flat feet". Significantly less foot pain going walking, thus encouraging me to walk more! I like the breathable mesh style. Arch on one shoe did chaff a bit at first (possibly could have gone with 4E rather than 2E but otherwise 2E seems fine). Overall great so far!

Brooks Beast-- 10 stars - Hobbled home suffering miserably from one day in my new New Balance shoes--These Brooks Beast were waiting in the box from ZAPPOS, I thought I should not try these on, since I was already in pain and it would not be a fair judgment-- well I did, and I tell you, I heard my foot sigh out loud. I almost cried--we are talking about 20 pairs of shoes to find some relief from my foot pain. Remarkably comfortable even on my poor, aching end-of-the-day feet, cushiony, with great arch support and a 4E wide. What a relief!!! Just what my aching arches, heel spurs and Morton's Neuroma needed to “calm down”. Thanks Brooks, for the "Beast". I'm a convert.

Great shoe! 3 important factors for someone with problem feet: very comfortable, plenty of room and very stable.

Smooth control - This is my second pair of Brooks Beast. They are perfect for me. Just got back into running about 1 year ago for health reasons. All previous "cheaper" shoes have not provided the support and control I get with this shoe.

I like it! First, Zappos is the best retail website I have ever dealt with. Great customer service and getting the shoes within 36 hours is awesome. This is the 10th pair of Beasts that I've owned. This new model is very comfortable and there is only one tick. When I installed bungee laces, the roundness of the laces pressed down too much on the top of my left foot. Even if I loosened the laces. I have gone back to cloth laces and problem solved.

This is a great running shoe for me because I'm a big guy, and the thick soles provide super support for my size 16 wide feet.

Replaced a Pair - I had purchased a pair of Brooks Beast a couple of years ago because of the excellent support they gave my flat feet. When time to replace those I went looking for them. Zappos did a great job getting them to me.

I have tried other Brands - Other brands that I have worn always have an area that puts pressure on my foot and after a long day my feet hurt. The Brooks brand shoes don't hurt my feet...

All star - This shoe is great. Very durable and great for my arches. It is the only running shoe my foot doctor recommends.

Great shoes! THE most comfortable running shoes I've ever worn. I have wide, nearly flat feet. Usually wore New Balance. Thought I'd try these. Very glad I did.

Comfort walking or running and very well built 10.5 EE - Hello: I just received my Beast running shoes and they are built tough. They are comfortable wearing as a casual shoe but I plan on running with them and will report back when I do. Roomy toe box and strong support throughout. I chose the black/silver/white and they look great. This is my first transaction with Zappos and I'm very impressed. Competitive price and unbelievable overnight shipping. I've never been treated this good. Recommended shoe and store!

Great Shoe - Great shoe, comfortable plenty wide for my extra side foot. Very fast shipping too.

Brooks Beast - Second pair of this shoe fit and function great lots of padding helps keep shin splints at bay. I wish shoe company would put more toe bumpers and side guards and less emphasis on current styling though.
