These shoes hurt my feet. I thought they would eventually break in and be a good replacement for my Bass Wejuns that I wore out. I was wrong!
I'd also recommend:
Bass or Sebago

These shoes last me 3 months after purchase. I work in a school and I wore 2 holes in my shoes on each foot. I returned the shoes and got another pair hoping it would be different and it was not... I now have another hole in one of the shoes and now have to return them again. I would not recommend these shoes to anyone! Walmart shoes last longer!

The shoes have to be mismarked ... 10.5 B ... they are not. It feels like I'm wearing flip flops.
I'd also recommend:

It's the strangest thing -- one shoe fit perfectly and the other felt a couple of sizes too small. I have never had this problem with other model Florsheim shoes (e.g., lace up) or any other model loafer/shoe (e.g., Bass, Johnston Murphy).

I have worn this shoe in burgundy and black for apx 25 yrs. Last two orders did not fit as they have in the past. The shoe is being made differently-lighter weight, stitching of soles is different, fit is more narrow than in past--in past it didn't need breaking in--it was comfortable from day one. I have 2 old pr that were made correctly if you want to compare. Contact me if you want more info ([@]). I would like to see you bring this show back to Florshime standard of the past. I plan to write your Chairman. I hope I can find a shoe as good as the Berkley you made in the past.

I have always bought Florsheim shoes before, and got great wear and durability, put now there is almost no leather in the product and they look like a cheap pair of vinyl shoes. Use more leather to rebuild your quality and name.

Was unable to keep these as they were too small - purchased from USA and paid in US$ with shipping total [$].Had to return shoes to Montreal (I live in Calgary, Canada)and paid $24.79.Just received notice that the refund for this purchase will be $120.00 US$. My issue is - I paid $60.00 shipping then $24.79 again to ship back. I am now down $84.79 - all because your shoes were made incorrectly. This is disappointing and unacceptable(the Berkley shoes were $95.00). To date, I have purchased 2 pair of shoes from you - same size and width with no problem. I feel your company is not fair. In other words - I paid $84.79 and I have absolutely nothing!

Accustomed to wearing Florsheim Royal Imperial penny loafers. Made in the USA. These are a very poor substitue. Even shoes previously made in Mexico were better than this Asian product. Hard, stiff and very uncomfortable. When it comes to shoes and comfort the price should never be an object.

Hard shoe to break in - The upper leather is so hard, it is hardly breaking in. I take an e width, but the shoe is not working out for me.
