I made a mistake when I ordered this shoe. The last pair I purchased the sole separated from the upper half of the shoe when the string holding it on broke. I had to glue the shoe back together. I am not sending the new shoes back. I hope they are better but they appear to be held together with a piece of string also.

I use the shoes daily. I'm disappointed in them. They are uncomfortable and hot. My feet sweat and hurt my ankles. The leather is not very high quality and the interior feels cheep.

Great looking shoe but the size runs very small. The wide version was so narrow, I could only barely put the shoes on so I sent them back.

The shoe didn't really last too long for me and became unusable. One day, it was rain outside and I had my pair on... it soaked my socks since it is stitching underneath... it doesn't do too well. Black color is gone on top edges of the shoe and around heal. Clicking sound won't go away. Took it to a shoe repair store and he could not figure it out why. Can't wear the shoe anymoe and will be in the trash

The shoes arrived in a plain card board box. No problems there. The shoe box inside was beat up pretty good. The stitching on the bottom of the shoes was coming out. A quick quality assurance glance would have easily found this. Sent back asking for a replacement. Will give it one more try.

I have been buying Florsheim shoes for 40+ years and I have never before had a problem, but these shoes arrived with a blemish--a rip in the leather. I have returned the shoes--the process is admirably simple and all of my contacts with Lloyd J have been completely satisfactory--and I expect to receive a replacement pair at some point. Everybody makes mistakes and I will continue to buy your shoes, but this pair was a lemon.

Despite being 3E in width, my shoe inserts won't fit inside the shoe. My orthotics fit other Florsheim shoes, but not these.

SHOES ARE MUCH LARGER THAN SIMILAR SIZE IN BETTER BRANDS. FINISH LOOKS AND WEARS LIKE HIGH GLOSS PAINT, NOT LIKE DYED AND POLISHED LEATHER. THE ABSOLUTELY WORST QUALITY SHOE I'VE OWNED SINCE 1954-55 WHEN I WAS BUYING SHOES FROM SEARS & ROEBUCK CATALOG BUT EVEN THOSE WERE BETTER THAN THIS GARBAGE. RATHER THAN SPEND MONEY ON THIS BRAND ( FORMERLY A QUALITY BRAND) GO BAREFOOT. YOU'LL BE BETTER OFF.

I have worn Florsheim Berkley shoes for several decades and have always found them to be comfortable and good looking. Unfortunately, the last pair of Berkleys that I purchased in September do not measure up. The fit is fine but the shoes are dull, not polished and shiny like all the previous Berkleys that I have purchased. Whats more, I am unable to bring out a shine even using shoe polish, a brush and a buffing cloth. The surface of the shoes over the toes is dull, not smooth, and refuses to shine. Unknown if the country of manufacture matters but the dull Berkleys in question were made in Vietnam. My previous shiny Berkleys were made in India. Hopefully this is a one off problem but I will seriously reconsider my next shoe purchase.

These shoes were exactly what I wanted and looked great until they started to fall apart after 3 months. Sole began to separate on both shoes. This is the second pair of Florsheim shoes that were poorly constructed. Will never buy this brand again. Thank goodness I bought from Zappos so I could return with no problem.

I am a long-time customer of Florsheim shoes, but that was during the period of time when they were manufactured in US factories. I've tried twice to order online only to receive below substandard shoes the first time (they were made in India) and the second time after waiting several years the shoes were nowhere near the correct size (again, the shoes were made in India). I ordered size 9 with medium width. That's my normal size. I couldn't even get them on my feet! It is my understanding that the Florsheim family has taken back ownership, but if you can't correct simple issues like this you don't deserve my busintss. I will give you one more chance, but only from one of your brick-and-mortar stores.

Complete waste of money! Within three months the leather soles had worn through. Also the leather wicks water through to your foot. Since the shoe only has a partial length insole, your foot is left soaked and freezing in the winter. After three months I bought a pair of cheap Deer Stags because I could buy three pairs for the same price as these Florsheims and my foot would be much, much dryer.

I really enjoyed how these looked, however, I wore them for a day and the lacquer that gives them the shiny appearance began to peel off. I am incredibly disappointed. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Wanted a brown Como but they were out of stock so I ordered this. I have worn Florsheim shoes for years. Extremely frustrated that I cannot find them in stores anywhere and that I had to purchase online. The quality of your product has diminished greatly. Had I saw this shoe in a store, I never would have purchased. Sewing and matching pieces was poorly done!

These are not worth the money. I have big feet and there are few shoes in my size (15EEE). I've purchased Florsheim shoes for 30 years and have good luck with them as a rule. These came and I was immediately shocked by the shine on them. I shine my shoes regularly. However, these looked as bright as patent leather/rented plastic tuxedo shoes. With the second (no embellishment) wearing the coating (that creates the shine) is already coming off. Last time I buy Florsheim without going to store. And no, I did not send them back and request a refund as I had already worn them and scuffed the soles (which you can't do if you are going to return).

Purchased a black and brown pair that were shipped to me. The brown pair had a finish defect on the entire tongue of the shoe. Weird, as it appear some of the finish was pealing off. The black ones fit ok, however the tongue was a bit misshaped and was extremely long. Thought it wouldn't last. Returned both shoes... Soooo disappointed as the ones I tried on at a local retailer were really nice and looked perfect. I ordered online because the price was right. Now I'm out $20 for return shipping. That's what I get for being cheap! If I buy again, it'll be at a local retailer. If I have to return them at least I won't be out a return shipping fee.

WAAAY too small. I am regularly an mens 8 as measured at shoe store and previously in Florsheim shoes: oxfords and loafers. These were marked mens 8 but I could not get my foot in even with thin socks and shoe horn. This brand is going downhill.
