I walk every day and Brook's quiz said I should get the Ghost Max 2. These shoes are extremely comfortable and stylish - I walk between 15 to 60 minutes daily on roads/sidewalks, and use these on trails if conditions are dry. I'm an 8/8.5 and the 8.5 fits great. Maybe I'll be inspired to try out running with these :)

Love the Brooks line up. This shoe is super comfy. I suffer from plantar fasciitis. They help. Even with expensive inserts my walking though is still limited.

These shoes were just terrible! Ordered a half size up due to reviews but Im not sure they would ever fit. The bulky heel pushes your entire foot forward so much so that I dont think it would ever fit!

For some reason, this pair of Ghost Max 2 are putting a callous on my right foot other than that they are fine.

I put my orthotics in from my orthopedic doctor (I have extremely flat feet and bad ankles that pronate), and made them even more awesome! I work in Radiology at a super busy hospital so they are absolutely worth the price! I also love that they fit more snug, makes me feel more supported!

I bought them for my sister who doesnt run but needed some comfort when walking. Working well. I personally would buy more myself if you had more colored sneakers. I am not into white, tan or black. Sorry.

Most comfortable shoe ever for standing on concrete floors all day!!! I have tried soooo many shoes and NONE compares to these!!!!

This shoe is wonderful. It helps keep me from getting foot pain and always me to walk more.

Love them. I have plantar fisciatis and I've had no pain while wearing these. I usually wear a 10 wide but went up to a 10.5 bc they don't offer wide sizes in the MAX. As long as the socks are not too thick they fit fine. I really wish Brooks would offer more wide shoes. They tend to only offer wide in the basic black or white shoes. Not the ones that are more colorful. More wide options, please!!!

Of the four shoes I ordered to test, I'll be keeping this one as it was the best option (compared to Addiction GTS 15, Glycerin 21, and Ghost 16). I found it to have more cushion to my liking and an overall more comfortable fit compared to the other shoes. I almost did not try this shoe because I've always needed a narrow width, which is not offered in this shoe. I decided to try it after seeing some reviews that felt the shoe ran narrow. I have to tighten the laces quite a bit to make it snug enough, but am hoping it will work in the long run.

These are too heavy for runners although they look great

Brooks, why do you keep messing with a good thing?! Do you listen to your loyal customers? I bought several pairs of Ghost Max last year because they were the most comfortable shoes Ive worn yet. Wide enough, cushioning was enough but didnt feel like walking in sand, toe box was high and wide, not too stiff for my arthritic feet, made my replaced knees feel good, etc. Then I bought Ghost Max 2..seemed shorter and smaller in the toe box. Felt very stiff. Had heel slippage like crazy.to the point that my low socks were pulled into the shoe. Bought a half size bigger. Same thing. Seemed very different than my original Ghost Max. I wanted to like them but the heel slippage alone was too much. Please stop changing your shoes each year, other than colors! It aggravates your customers! If you google heel slippage in Ghost Max 2, youll find lots of unhappy people.

Im pleased with the feel of my Brooks shoes. They are comfortable and fit fairly well.

I love the comfort and stability. The only shoe that I like more is the Glycerin Max.

I like the looks and feel of these shoes. At first they felt like I was walking on an uneven pillow, as they are gel infused. After 2-3 days I got more used to them and it was like walking on a cloud. I have had them a month and have been very satisfied. Now that I'm used to them I don't notice the "walking on a cloud" feeling now, but they are very comfortable. I take 2-3 walks a day anywhere between 25-45 minutes as I'm retired and the only thing I'd say is I do notice a little arch ache afterwards if I walk faster, but I've had prior problems with plantar fasciitis. I have high arches as well, so it's probably an anatomical thing with me. In the past several years I've worn the top New Balance shoe 990 v6 which was great for support and comfort but they are heavier feeling. These feel as light as air. I'm impressed. I also like the way they look.

I got these shoes for work as I really liked the ghost max 1. These are great as well but the sole is a bit more stiff which to me is more supportive but they do feel a bit different

The best shoe out there for people with plantar fasciitis for walking. I cant run but this is the go to for a walking shoe!

to be clear this is a review of a Wide Size 9. Cushion Great! Feels springing and absorbs road impact. This is a completely personal preference. I did return these for two fit reasons: 1. the drop ended up being a little too flat for my comfort. 2. I am always in search of the best TOE BOX for my foot. My foot has slim ankles/heel area, but widens in the toes. Tried the Wide in hopes for more comfort in the toe box, but it's just too loose around the heel. Love Brooks products though.

I find Brooks sneakers very comfortable. These were really nice in person

Very happy. Needed a wide and additional cushion for my feet and the Ghost Max 2 delivered.

Awesome shoe for busy days at work on my feet and walking at lunch break. The cushion is like a cloud under my feet! I might still use my Glycerine 22 GTS for serious races.
