I got these in an extra wide for my mom after trying all the other brands (Hoka, New Balance, etc.) and they are a class above all. The cushioning is amazing cant feel the concrete or asphalt ground/surface pressure when walking and is the only shoe that accommodates her bunions and bone spurs and is still roomy in the toe box to be able to walk in comfort and with joy! Thank You Brooks, after a year of searching my Moms feet are finally happy!

Im actually surprised I love them. I love the ghost max and the max 2 seemed to have a thicker sole and with my PF I thought these would have too much cushion like the Hoka brand now just waiting for work to reimbursement this pair to grab another!

I love them! I can stay in them all day with no achy feet!! I have serval pair of Ghost and so far these are my favorite.

Got the Lilac/Lavender color. Love the shape of the shoe. Very cute on my foot! This is my first pair of Brooks. I usually wear a size 9; this one fits, but I would have also been comfortable going up a half size.

Super comfortable, but I wish yall would make more colors in wide sizes. Theyre super limited.

I bought these because I love the first edition of the Ghost Max. I do not like the Ghost Max 2 as much as the Ghost Max. Please bring the original Ghost Max back! It is much more comfortable than the Ghost Max 2! There is more cushioning and support in the Ghost Max and it is just much more comfortable overall.

Love my Ghost Max 2! They are the most comfortable shoe especially at the gym!

The fit is great! Didnt take long to break in, super comfy and soft on the landings!!

I love these shoes! This is my second pair. I also have them in black. I love the fact that they have removeable insoles, so I can insert my orthotics.

I bought this based on Ghost 16 shape. If youre here b/c you want a wide shoe, its not as wide as Ghost 16, I need to order a wide width, which is only available in non-colorful options

Comfy, but very bulky. I'm coming off of the Ghost 14. Looking down these look very wide, they make my feet look huge. They are also very hot. Even in the winter. I will use them until they wear out but I probably would not buy again.

Comfortable but run large. Definitely size down at least half size, moybe a full size.

Not like the original ghost max. It feels unstable to me and its definitely narrower and really narrow in the toe box. I feel like Im standing on a foam stack and could fall over at any time. I use custom orthotics but the ghost max was supposed to replace the Dyad, which was Brooks go to shoe for orthotic users. This is not a replacement for that. That shoe was great, just needed more cushioning. Now there are no sneakers available to orthotic users except the Echelon by Saucony. Great if you have really full feet, but I dont. Not every shoe buyer is 30 and runs. A lot of us just need to walk every day in comfort. Guess thats too much to ask. Also, hate the weird shaped tongue. The tongue is supposed to protect your foot from the shoe. This is too narrow to provide padding over the side of your foot and reduces the ability of the shoe to fit properly, unless you have that perfect foot. Everyone is desperately trying to imitate Hoka. Not everyone can wear or likes Hoka. Diasappointed. And waiting for a good replacement for the Dyad!! Im not the only one!

I really love my Ghost Max 2 Wide. I feel they are more comfortable than most shoes i have ever put on much less walked miles in. The extra cushion did take some getting used to and felt a little unstable at first but once I broke them in, I was pretty satisfied. I do wish however we had more color options, i see a bright pink and orange has been added but once again anyone aside from the "regular" width does not get the cool colors. I am not sure why companies only cater to certain widths with colors, I definitely consider color ways when looking for new purchases and I will be looking for something new soon with a bright color option because thats just my preference and personality. It would be great to once find a shoe that not only fits and functions well for my foot needs but also looks great too. I purchased the lavender grey color way but I will be looking out for competitors to see if maybe they will offer a similar fit with more colors. If you're looking for a wide width option, I would say give them a try but they definitely need work on their design when it comes to color options available. I am not sure what is or would be so hard to just offer all the color ways in all widths, I know they would sell because I know there are alot of women that I've had this conversation with who have similar foot needs.

I love my new shoes! I have have a pair of Ghost 14 and 15 and have always been satisfied with them. This is the first time trying the Ghost Max 2 due to my plantar fasciitis. The shoes have made a big difference to lessen my foot pain.

Super comfortable no matter what activity I'm doing. Roomy, good cushion, excellent structure.

Historically Brooks shoes have not worked well for me, but this was available in extra wide and has plenty of volume, which works well for me. I've run ~20 miles in them so far and haven't had any rubbing or other discomfort so far. Hopefully that will hold true on longer runs as well. I wish extra wides got a bit more love when it comes to color selection - only being able to choose from black or white is boring.

I love these shoes! They provide a lot of support but arent heavy and dont slow you down.

First, I'm not a runner. But I searched far and wide for an athletic shoe that would address issues, and would work for my weird feet: serious supination, high arch/instep, AA feet with AAA heels, beginnings of hammer toes and bunions. Temporarily, a shoe that would come closest to the height of the boot I'm wearing while healing from a broken heel bone. The Ghost Max 2 came closest, and has the Brooks name/quality behind it. It's working for the long-term fit issues, and the height needed to even up my gait while wearing the boot. The only remaining issue is that the toe box is too narrow and shallow--my toes can't spread out or flatten out. Other than that--great shoes.
