I recently got a heel spur and an inflamed peroneus brevis tendon. Nothing that I wore would alleviate the pain, until I bought these sneakers! These are the only sneaker that addresses my problem, plus it addresses the way I walk- which is that I under pronate. The problem with other shoe companies is that they put in a cushion for a high arched foot. I have a neutral arch.
I am so happy now.
Brooks, why can't you make fashionable dress shoes & slippers for women? I can't find anything!

One of the best shoes I've ever had. I work on my feet and these shoes are a complete game changer.

I ordered Ghost 2 Max because a video review I saw said that the only difference was that it had more padding. I thought it would be great for me because I always wear Ghost. Unfortunately, they hurt the top of my toes a lot, and I had to return them. I think the elevation of the heel is a little different, and that must be what the problem is. I bought a pair of Ghost 16 instead.

I like them a lot, but I haven't worn them enough to give much opinion. I won't wear them to work yet because I don't want to get them dirty. They are comfortable, but I feel the heel area is a little snug for me.

I enjoy the shoe weight and how it feels when walking. My only concern is it tends to make my bunion a little hot from friction if I tighten the laces too much.

I bought the size I always buy in Brooks running shoes and find these to be horribly uncomfortable. My toes are jamming into the front of the shoe as if it were too small. My feet feel terrible. Im a huge fan of Brooks and was so hopeful that these Ghost Max would be great on the long run but they just arent for me. My friend bought them as well and has the same issue. Not sure if I should go larger when I already buy my run shoes 1/2 size larger. I think the style just doesnt work for me

Absolutely love these shoes. Like walking on clouds. Just wish I got a size bigger for my half marathon. Keeping these anyway for everyday wear and short runs. Out of 13 pairs of brooks , these are my favorite !

This shoe didnt work for me- I need to stick to the original Ghost. I do a lot of walking and this one caused my gait & back to be off. Glad Brooks has a great return policy!

I loved my Ghost Max 1. They have been the best running shoe I've run in by far, and I've been running for forty years. It's been a real game changer for me. My marathon distances haven't caused any friction on my feet, and the ride is so comfortable I don't have to think about my feet at all. I tried on the Ghost Max 2 in our local running store, same size as the last time, and the fit is completely different. There's so little room in the toe box. Before, in the Max 1, the width, the length, and the height of the toe box had been perfect. I purchased a couple of pairs of the Max 1 on sale and have them waiting for me under my bed. When I run through those I don't know what I'll do. Please bring back the original fit.

I love the comfort and cushion in the Ghost Max 2. It works best for me on long runs and recovery days. Lots of great color choices too!

These roll my feet toward my toe causing massive blisters. They have a lot of cushion but I have bought ghost for years but these max arent for me.

Cushion was nice but felt too heavy & stiff. I got the wide but it felt it wasn't wide enough in the mid foot. Did return them.

I will update this after I do more walking. I just took the sneakers out for a good walk around the neighborhood. I usually buy the Ghost 15, but they switched to 16s, and I can't wear them anymore. After taking the short test on-site, I tried these and decided to try the Ghost Max 2. So far, I am genuinely not happy with these. My ankles hurt, and the right side of my foot is aching. I have never had a problem before transitioning into a new pair of shoes. This saddens me, as they are not cheap.

Once I found the correct size with my orthotics, absolutely love! They are like walking on clouds. I am not a runner, my dr suggested I wear them for all feet issues.

I was introduced to your shoes in February 2024 after purchasing the arch support system from The Good Feet Store. Your shoes provide the correct support both on the sides and bottom. In September 2024 I purchased Ghost Max 2, for my Greenland and Nova Scotia Cruise. I walked everywhere in them, flat and hilly terrain. They provided my feet and body with the support it needed. I will continue to purchase Ghost Max 2 as long as you have them. My only issue is that they only last 2 months, after that time my back and feet start to hurt. I wish they would last longer. The cost of buying new shoes every 2 months is hard when you live on a retirement budget.
