Too bulky. At times the bulkiness creates instability. Returned after 1 week.

Too early to say if I am going to keep this shoe, but I am hopeful.
Wore them casually the first two days, very comfortable, rocker is noticeable, insanely plush and premium feel in the upper, foam is soft but not mushy, has enough bounce to it. Ran in them for the first time today for a 5k, easy pace, hit a hard sprint for the last 800 meters, got a huge blister on the inside of my left foot. Wore blister proof socks that I use with all my other running shoes. The sidewalls are a bit pronounced, much like in the More V5 from NB, which is why I bought this shoe to retire my NB shoe as my easy pace runner. Unfortunately Im not sure if I will keep these, going to see if I can change up the lacing, try different socks, see what happens. Really want to love this shoe, its very fun to run in, has a great feel, but sadly it seems to blister.

Nice and bouncy, good rocker, propels me along at a brisk pace, with a sensation of less effort. Great cushioning, not too spongy, perfect for larger runners too (I am 510 200lbs) .

It is super cushioned but springy at the same time. An issue I've had with other high cushion shoes is it feels as if you're pulling the shoe off the pavement, but that's not the case with the Glycerin Max. I'm dealing with a pretty serious hip OA so these still allow me to get some miles in. My fitness level at the moment doesn't give me a good feel for how the rocker design can aid in pushing off/forward but I can see where it would. In a normal training block I would definitely use these for long and recovery runs. It's nice to have a cushioned alternative to plated shoes which I cannot run in at the moment. Thanks so much Brooks for coming out with this!

Got these today from my local running store. First run in them was a 9 mile run. First steps were a breath of fresh air and the shoe propels you forward. I was VERY impressed and happy with them.

Best pair of Glycerins yet. They have more cushion than any other pair of running shoes, including Hokas.

These are my new go-to shoes. I typically wear womens shoes in D width, but that wasnt an option for the glycerine max. Once I realized that womens D width was the same as a normal mens width, I did the size conversion and ordered the mens.and I am so glad I did! They are light with an amazing amount of cushionperfect for my long runs. Best shoe to date!

These shoes are amazing! Im 6'3" 235 lbs. I run 4 miles 3-4 times a week. I was having knee, feet and back issues with my last pair of shoes. I bought these because they appeared to have a crazy amount of support. They did not disappoint! They are very light and very comfortable. I have about 60 miles on them and they are holding up well so far. The Glide Roll Rocker feature gives you a little spring in every step too!! Forget about the money! I could not recommend these shoes more!

One of the best, most comfortable shoes I've ever ran in. It's been my favorite Max stack shoe with great stability and has good energy return to make it a very fun wear.

I like the glycerin max although I use orthotics in my running shoes . The MAX is a tighter toe box than the Glycerin 21 ( the shoe I LOVE with nonissues) the MAX caused me to have a rubbing on a toe and some discomfort. If it had a larger toe box I would love it but I will have to return it at this time, for the 21s.

I enjoyed the ride and absolutely minimal ground feel in my 3 long runs in the Glycerin Max, however, for someone with smaller, more narrow feet, these gave me a bone bruise that took me out of running for 8 days. They are too roomy and the in combination with there ultra-softness, the collar kept riding into my ankle bone and by mile 8 I had to pull over and re-tie and adjust my sneaker. By that point I already had deep pain but I finished my 12 mile run with the collar still affecting me. If you have smaller, more narrow feet I would not recommend these unfortunately.

Im a 48 yr old male, Im 59, 168lbs. I was looking for a comfortable long run shoe to continue my low heart rate training. The shoe is certainly very comfortable. The fit length wise is true to size and the depth and volume is roomy. However, Ive found it difficult to keep my HR down for whatever reason.
Obviously its a heavy shoe but I expected that. The build quality is fantastic and I have no doubt the durability is top tier as well.

This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn!
Since getting this shoe, it has become my #1 shoe for long runs and even more so for the 2nd day of back to back run days.
I would 1000% recommend these to anyone who likes running in max cushion shoes. The comfort level is insane!

Love the comfort but if you are not careful, the toe cap is deep as compared to the rest of the shoe, with this depth of toe cap I took a fall. The sole is very comfortable.

Im 15 and my dad has the Hyperion Max, my feet hurt from every shoe I have, so I asked my dad to get me a pair because the color and comfort was good. He came home today and handed me a box that said Glycerin Max and I was like what are these. I opened the box and was hit with a grey and white shoe on a white transparent green insole. I slipped both of these on and BOOM the instant feel of a shoe that actually felt good, enough room in the toe box and true to size. These shoes feel great if youre on your feet all day like me (Im in the 9th grade) These shoes feel so good! Thanks you Brooks!!!

These were a big jump for me from the Adrenaline GTS Ive been wearing for years. They are AMAZING. love these for anything over 45min of running (Id wear them all the time but I try to change it up, for shorter runs and speed work). They feel like running on clouds; very fast, energetic clouds. The heel-toe transition is dialed. I love running, these shoes make me love running more.
Oddly while they feel amazing for running they feel kind of awkward for walking. so wouldnt recommend as a walking shoe or a work shoe - but thats just, like, my opinion.

I'll start by saying, love the foam, think that's where this shoe gets all 3 stars.
I found the upper to be way too plush, too roomy, have a few hot spots on this shoe and normally consider myself wide-footed, I also find I don't get a great heel lock, the balance is there, but something about where the heel height comes up to just doesn't work for me or maybe its the laces, they feel slightly off somehow (sorry not sure how to explain). It's also a bit too heavy and clunky, the rocker feels slightly out of position relative to the density of the foam. I'm mostly a mid-foot striker.
After About 100 miles in, have tried it for most things, I'll think i'll run in this every so often for a recovery run in the future as it does protect the legs, but I find the plushness and fit just don't work for me and its a bit too heavy compared to some other options.
tldr; slow recovery runs only, bit too expensive for the lack in versatility for me to give any higher than 3 stars, love the innovation with the foam, work out some kinks and this can be special.

I started running in 1976 and have gone thru several. The GM might be my favorite because the cushioning saves my joint so that I can look forward to the next run. Note, when you first try them on they might feel too soft but they do level off when running and are very stable. The toe off is great without being too aggressive and the overall feeling of the shoe is luxurious.
