Not for me, I wanted to love these. The first 3-4 miles were fun and bouncy and they are super supportive and have a nice rocker to them that pushes you forward pretty effortlessly. Then by mile 5-6 I started feeling some hot spots in the balls of my feet. By mile 9 I felt my big toe rubbing and after 10 miles I took my sock off to find a small blister which I've never got from any running shoe in any brand. For the price I cant justify keeping them.

A really big midsole. Almost too big. The advertised model on the Brooks site has more black throughout the shoe and looks better, but Zappos has an accurate picture. The shoes are comfortable. I’m 6’3”, with the shoes on I’m 6’6”.

I’ve only done 2 runs in them, 8 miles total, but knew immediately Brooks really made a great max cushion shoe. I fell in love with the DNA midsole on my Caldera 6…when I saw these come out I couldn’t resist to buy. Love them and can’t wait to put more miles on them.

First Brooks sneaker I’ve purchased, and I’m very pleased. I typically go with ASICS, but their quality has dwindled lately. It took me a day to get used to them, but they’re awesome. Feels stable, despite being a neutral shoe.
I'd also recommend:
Asics

Ran my first 1/2 marathon and the shoes were excellent. I'm just over 200 lbs and able to run without pain with these shoes. I normally wear a 11.5 or 12 but went with a 12.5. When they wear out, I plan on buying another pair.

Ive put well over 200k on these and they really are the perfect daily trainer. Cushy but still responsive with none of the stability issues you see with other max cushion shoes.

I'm not a runner, but am on my feet for 12 hours a day in my job and was looking for just a bit more cushion that the regular Glycerin shoes. These give the cushion I need and help get me through the days on and off of the job.

Ran about 50 miles so far. These shoes have never hurt my feet. They are also easy on my knees which I can always appreciate.

I walk 10-20 miles every day. I have 3 pairs of Glycerin Max in rotation. They are the most sneakers I've ever worn. They are not the best looking shoes, but I don't wear got style.

An absolutely amazing shoe. One of one. Great for easy runs, super protective on the legs but I also think you can pick up the lace a little more than people give this credit for. I got it for easy runs but it's turned into my go to daily trainer. The rocker helps you keep a quick cadence. Can't say enough great things about this shoe.

These shoes are like a Rolls-Royce Phantom for your feet! Supreme comfort, cushioning and support are key for me at this stage of my running career, and these shoes deliver those qualities big-time. I really like the colorways available and the breathability. Highly recommended, 5/5 stars.

As a HipHop artist and influencer I'm always on the go, and usually my community is more about fashion than comfort. But I got put on to the Brooks Glycerin Max by the Richmond VA run club #WeOffTheCouch, led by my friend "Rock" and listen, ever since then everybody in my family and my circle has heard me say countless times, "You need a pair or five." I tell them all the time, your feet hold the rest of your body up, so you gotta invest in them. To me, there's no better shoe investment.TWyse

Switched from some OCs and have really been enjoying these. Averaging about 30 miles per week with very little pain/soreness especially in the knees. Distance at decent pace feels more effortless in these.

This is Brooks best shoe yet. I'd love to see it in an all "light" color. But the fit and feel are luxurious.

I got these shoes for a bone spur. They are so cushioned I can't even feel waking on gravel. This my second pair and go to shoes.

6'2" & 260 lbs. Great shoe for daily runs. Plan on the break-in period being around 10-15 Miles. 10K's & 5K's have never felt better.

These are the first shoes I have EVER had that did not hurt my feet. I would recommend these shoes to anyone. I only walk in my brooks, my running days are over. In the past three months I have walked 175 miles and the treed from my arch to my toes is all worn off and is cracking. The sole does pinch my left foot when I try to run. Regardless of that, Im going to purchase another pair tonight and see if I can return my current pair. Im not looking for new shoes, it could be a defect in my pair of shoes. Glycerin Max will always be my favorite shoes.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on. They are my first ever pair of Brooks. I have been a Nike person, I will always buy this shoe.

I have problem feet! I have tried many shoes and the Glycerin Max fits my need! Best yet, with its 'squishy' feel for my constant ball of foot pain! I feel like I could walk all day again! And will! Just hope they last at least 6 months! Will see! Width in D, generally I get E width for the extra toe box room but not needed, however the upper seems a little snug for me! Truly am impressed with the shoe for my needs but as a past runner I think some might find it has too much cushion!
