The Glycerin Max is my 4th pair of Brooks purchased in 2024. I bought the Ghost Max 3 times this year. For the Ghost Max the tread wears very fast and compression in the sole, making the Ghost Max last under 200 miles. The Glycerin Max is a much-improved shoe compared to the Ghost Max. It's a high stack, and the fit and finish are the best I have ever had with Brooks. I have been running in Brooks for 6 years. After 100 miles of use, my only complaint is that they are not even close to water resistant.

Absolutely love these shoes, THIS is the definition of max stack/cushion. They fit true to size, theyre snug, dont move around at all, great laces and are an absolute blast to run in. Theyre so comfortable, they truly reduce running fatigue like Ive never felt. Highly recommended!

Excellent shoe if youre in the market for maximum cushioning. I now find myself using these shoes for running, casual work days, and as house slippers. Quite the combination.

Very good cushioning and feel lighter than they look. These are similar to the NB More V5's as far as max cushioning goes and provide a nice springy feeling. My only negative was the lack of color options and of course now that I've purchased mine, they've come out with some new ones. Oh well:(

Overall the shoe has great support and has addressed back pain when running, but they are a bit narrow and I continue to get blisters on the arches of my feet. I have put over 60 miles on the shoes so I would have hoped they would be broken in by now, but they are not. I have horrible blisters after every run.

It would be great if there were a GTS option. Also, a GTS plus Gortex option would be awesome.

Great feel. Surprisingly stabile. Incredible forward mobility with each stride! Not sure how they would be on anything over a half or so...

These might be the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I bought these shoes for Disneyland, all of the walking that we do there I really needed something that would make my back, legs, and feet feel great all day. We were in the Parks for 7 days averaging 10 miles a day. Just about 22,000 steps each day. I am I big guy about 320lbs, and these shoes still hold their shape after all those consecutive days of walking. 10/10 I recommend these shoes to everyone. (P.s. I do have wide feet and these feet perfectly)

I love this shoe. It is the most comfortable high-stacked height super shoe available on the market today.

Very cushy, but doesnt slow me down much. The rocker effect could be the reason for that. I havent run in shoes with this setup before now. Definitely faster than my Hoka Bondi. Pretty stable for the height, but I have had a couple moments where I nearly rolled my ankle on uneven surfaces. That was when I was first breaking them in though. Im surprised how light they are for the size. They look very nice in white, but I dont think thats going to last. I tend to rub up against or spill things that will get my feat dirty. Already have a stripe from my suitcase wheel running over my foot. Comfy for traveling BTW.

I bought the shoe because i have been enjoying my previous high stacked cushioning shoes because they have been treating me well. With Brooks advertisement for the Glycerin Max, i had high hopes for it. My running shoe size according many different brands are normal width and size 11. size 11 on the glycerin max fits just right. It was very cloud like cushioning for walking but as soon as i started running, the shoe felt heavy and lacks energy return and responsiveness. I do between 8-9min/mile. I also dont feel much of that cushioning when running. It felt firm to me. So i returned the shoes. It is an excellent shoe for walking but for that price, i had high expectations.

If you buy these it is near impossible to wear any other shoe. I bought these to jog in as I am not a runner persay but, I put a lot of miles in none the less. These are the Most Comfortable shoes I have worn in a very long time. They are the perfect blend of soft and supportive without being mushy. If you have the chance somewhere locally to try them on, bring your wallet because you will leave with a pair. I loved these so much I bought them in two different colors and I don't regret a penny I spent. I find myself wearing them even when I am not exercising, and even to work where I am on my feet 10+ hours a day. Make all your aches and pains subside and don't hesitate to get these of you are on the fence about the price.

I am 6'-4", and about 280#. This shoe is very cushy, which makes them great for long runs. These are my go-to shoes for anything over 5k, now. I have plenty of room in the toe box, but they feel a little loose through the mid-foot. I have to tighten them quite a bit to get them to stay in place. The only two true negatives I have to say about this shoe are: 1) This is NOT a good looking shoe. 2) I would have liked the base to be a little wider. The shoe is tall to add the extra cushion, and it's a bit like running on a squishy platform. At then end of a long run, I have to be careful not to roll an ankle, which I think would be remedied with a little wider bottom.

Good shoe. Im 230 lbs so I needed a comfortable shoe. This was it. Only wish it came in GoreTex waterproofing and had more color ways. Fit was good and keeps feet and shins from fatiguing too fast.

I bought my 1st pair which were the womens model and loved them so much when I saw there were new colors , I had to get another pair so I could rotate them. Because I prefer black shoes, I ordered the mens version and again am extremely pleased at their fit, style and cushioning.

I started wearing these and my achilles tendon started hurting. Heard from others that this design could have possibly contributed. I stopped wearing them, will use only if needed.

I've tried Hoka Clifton, On Cloud, and have had a couple pairs of Invincible 3s and these are the springiest high cushion shoe I've had and there's no heel slippage. Great ride!

Very comfortable for new runners looking to run any distance, the heavier weight on these shoes was barely noticeable, very uncomfortable to walk in & I wish there were more colors available on release

Really good but too tall and adds pressure on heels a lot due to so much cushioning. But it's perfect for knee pain and don't feel anything during long walk or run.
