Awesome pants. The fabric is soooo comfortable. Feels like it would be durable as well, but I do not have enough data to say. I think they can work for both casual, active, and work days (in a laid-back office environment). Two suggestions: please make tall versions for size 28. 28 regular is too short and 30 T is too large (and sells out really fast!). I would love it and buy more pants. Tall & narrow people like your pants too! :D Second suggestion: consider an integrated waist belt like the women's Clarkia pants, for those of us with smaller waists. Thank you!

Reminds me of the old Spotter pant, with a more modern and durable fabric. Fit is similar to original Rampart pant too. These are awesome, have a nice 90's Levi's Silvertab vibe. We'll see if they hold up to the winter climbing season, they feel like they're up to the task. Definitely fit on the big side, but you can see that in the images, and I love it. Movement is not restricted at all. The fabric is really what makes these pants incredible, I hope Arc makes more colors in this pant, and more pants out of this fabric.

Have been waiting for Cronin pants to make a reappearance and I certainly haven't been disappointed. I have had several pairs of the canvas Cronins and these while being lighter are certainly quite robust and well fitting. Thank you Arc'teryx for a great trouser

Great pants. Light weight and fit nicely. Ive been reluctant to buy pants outside of rain gear and leaf apparel. These pants have blown me away. I'm former military and a rope guy for known company in BC. If these were made in a darker grey I would get everyone in the company in them. Using for hiking/rope access/ rope rescue/limited climbing and casual wear. Very comfy.

This cotton version is way better than there pure crinkle nylon version. Bought the Cronin pants but I didn't like the crinkle look. I was looking for something more light but heavy/ retain its look when walking and still be able to wear everyday in hot weather. I do gotta say this is it. Feels like a lighter cotton canvas which is great for the hot weather and everyday use. I'm a size 30 waist (measured). I sized down for a fitted baggy look. When tried on Pants were about a 31 waist for a size: 28R. Bought a 30 previously but fit way too baggy and big. Bought the black and tatsu/green. The black is like a lighter black and not true black. Would definitely want a dark navy and light khaki and charcoal/grey. If you're on the fence about these pants don't be. There excellent.

Nice stretch cotton pants. These are identical to the new Cronin Pants in pocket layout and close to same fit. The difference is a thicker stretchy cotton fabric. Still not like the original Cronin which were a heavy cotton canvas pant. I do love both the New Cronin Cotton and New Cronin. Just beware that these are not like the old Cotton Cronin pants that so many miss.... This version of the Cronin are very comfortable and have good stretch and generous fit. Ill prob buy another pair when more colours come out.

Great pants for casual or bouldering and climbing but there is no way to tighten the waist so unless you wear belt which doesn't make sense on climbing pants, you need to size down on the waist otherwise your pants will fall off I'm 6 ft / 163, and a 32 R was too loose on me so I had to return it.

Use them both for casual ware and climbing. Nice loose fit and very light material. Bought them in the tall version and for the first time i have got a pair of climbing pants which is too long - amazing and surprising.

The pants are cut to move with the gusseted crotch and darted knees, very cool details you will struggle to find in other pants. The fabric has a nice hand feel, like a super light, stretchy cotton. I do wish there was less spandex in the blend however, they can feel a bit bouncy and I think they would still have great mobility and be more durable with a 2% spandex content. I found the sizing much different than the Gamma pants. 32 in Gammas, 30 in Cronins. I went with 30T, the inseam is slightly too long for me, but the regular inseam would have been much too short. 6' 170lb

Love these pants! Very comfortable and perfect for everyday use. The sizing runs a little big, and I wish there were more sizes to choose from. I have 30' in other pants, but in this pants 30' is a number too big

I like the style of the pants, but I hope there are more size options, such as between 30 and 32, you can add 31, and so on.

great improvement over the original Cronin years ago. The fabric is durable and has a bit of stretch so it's really comfortable in all movements throughout the day. Although, the fit is not really my taste. The leg bottoms are extremely baggy...maybe this is what my bouldering friends like, but I was hoping for a more modern fit to crossover into the office a bit better. Size 32 fits well for me, I'm 77kg and 186cm tall. I wish I could get these in the Kragg pant patterning for a better fit.

These pants are expensive but for the fit, comfort and style I am more than happy to part with my money. They are not to be compared to Fjallraven Vidda Pro - which are undoubtedly the best pant on the planet- These are cut well and are super comfy with inbuilt stretch ; hopefully they are durable enough to make them a good investment a second time

Really liking the Cronin Cotton pants so far. Material seems like it should be long-lasting. They're very comfortable to climb in. Fit is pretty much spot on (expect them to be baggy). Waist is slightly oversized. These pants have belt loops, but in my opinion they should have the integrated belt system that other models have (ex: Konseal pants). I get that they're geared more towards bouldering, but wearing a belt underneath a harness is no bueno. Minus one star for this, otherwise they're awesome.

I use these pants mainly for rock climbing. Indoors and out. Bouldering and sport. They are very breathable and light but have held up well against plastic and real rocks. They allow for a great range of motion I would recommend this product for anyone looking for some high quality climbing pants
