As I may have mentioned in a previous review for this website, Arc'teryx seems to be one of the few brands (if not the one) that truly "gets" my body type, which, I'd like to think, is rather average (and certainly not one of a professional outdoor athlete, far from it). In other words, the fit, especially the length (long inseam), is perfect, especially in combination with the material used, which allows for a wide range of movements, among other benefits. I should not that I have yet to use these pants for its intended purpose, that is, bouldering (inside or in the gym), but I expect it would confirm this impression. (I will test it soon.) It certainly performs well in my daily life (knowledge work involving a bike commute all year round), and it is not too casual for my line of work. It reminds me of a pair of Gamut pants that I used for several years starting around 2005, 2006, which also quickly became my go-to, do everything pants. They held up really well, and I assume this will also be the case for these pants. They are, clearly, not cheap, but then again, if used they way I use them, these costs will be offset by the experience of happy ownership and greal pants for years to come.

Love the fit and comfortable material. 6'3" 190 lbs. the 34R are perfect. Only thing I would like is a built in belt. Great job Arc'teryx!

The Cronin Cotton Pants have a clean, classic look with the comfort you expect from Arc'teryx. The cotton fabric feels soft yet substantial and has a quality weight that drapes well. They are easy to move in and comfortable enough for all-day wear, whether at work, traveling, or out around town.
They strike a nice balance between casual and refined, which makes them versatile for many situations. The fit is flattering without feeling tight, and the build quality is excellent. These have quickly become a go-to choice when I want something that looks good and feels even better.

Incredible comfort, mobility and style for a recent trip to Japan. Great on the plane and stylish around town eating ramen and seeing sites. Noodles wipe off pants with ease as does local beer.

It's my favourite pant. Only down is colour faded in a first wash. Way too comfortable. If you dont mind the colour go head !

Great pants. I use them mainly for free climbing. Good stretching fabric, practical brush pockets and still comfortable when worn with harness.

Glad to see the Cronin brought back, and the updates are positive imo. More stretch in the material while still maintaining the cotton canvas style, roomier fit for freedom of movement on the wall. Been wearing these in various colours all fall-winter, a true staple pant for me. I'm around 30/31" waist, and generally wear a 32 with no belt, which is the case for the Cronin. I also have 2 pairs in a 34 for extra steaz (belt required, but not bunched or annoying).

Many of my days are spent not on the mountain. I'm in the art studio, airports, climbing, dinners with friends, events. The Cronin is the pant I wear every single day. Cotton blend with just enough give, a clean cut, and that soft hand that gets better with wear. I have many splattered pairs that still wear perfectly. Throw them in the wash and keep going. My favorite pant I've ever owned.

I've been a long term TNF fan for a long time. I just switched over to Arc'teryx and will not be going back! These pants are incredible. Super comfortable and very durable for all day use or hitting the trails. Unparalleled quality.

Every year I buy a Gamma SL in spring time because they are my favorite pants. This year my favorite shop didn't have them, so I tried the Cronin Cotton pant. They are a bit wider but the fit was perfect, as was the length. This will be to go pant for this spring.

Very comfortable pant, and I like it more than gamma pants and leutia pants. Saw some complaints about the seams on knees being too stiff, but I didn't find that issue myself. Very easy to do movements in and great for casual wear also.

I only wear these pants bouldering. I liked my first pair so much I bought a second and I am considering a third. They are durable and allow full range motion with zero restriction. They are a little spendy but when it comes to gear you get what you pay for.

I love these pants!! I have large thighs and struggle to find pants that fit me comfortably. Often I will have to buy pants 1 or 2 waist sizes too large just so I can be comfortable through the thigh. These pants leave plenty of room yet the waist still fits true to size; it's very freeing to not require a belt! The material is soft and perfectly stretchy. The style is awesome, love the extra pockets. I waited to review these until I'd washed them a few times as I've had issues with colourfastness with other Arcteryx fabric pants and after 4 washes I'm happy to say that this is not an issue with this line. I would buy these again for sure.

Good balance between toughness and comfort. I've used these for daily wear and light activity and they've held up well.

These pants are legit. I figured I would splash out as I'm in them more than my recreational pants. They do not disappoint. Really good fit, stylish and practical! Would have been nice if the ruler pocket was on the right side though. Good work Arc'teryx

Arc'teryx brought back the fit I loved from the original Cronin pant with a great material thats durable, stretches with movement and very comfy. Definitely a relaxed fit, but TTS I normally wear a 32R and purchased just that. Very happy with this design.

These are the most comfortable pants I own. They're useful for work, for just hanging out and, to be honest, they look great all the time. They last forever, and they're easy to wash and dry. All round terrific!

I can bring them to the bouldering gym, go climbing and/or hike outdoors in nearly any weather, wear them casually, and look pretty alright while doing it (unlike with some Patagonia, REI, 686, Prana alternatives I've tried). They're extremely durable and the tall is actually a tall. I originally had been recommended to me for winter hiking & snow, but I'm actually not sure how the material would fare there (no DWR, etc), but I've been happy for nearly every other use. Hope they last a long time.

By far the best pants I have ever had, not just for climbing but for everything. The best part is the feel like cotton but will stretch like spandex.

Extremely comfortable with an exceptional fit. The fabric feels ultra-lightweight yet impressively durable. I also really love the design the color, pockets, buttons, and all the little details
