As I may have mentioned in a previous review for this website, Arc'teryx seems to be one of the few brands (if not the one) that truly "gets" my body type, which, I'd like to think, is rather average (and certainly not one of a professional outdoor athlete, far from it). In other words, the fit, especially the length (long inseam), is perfect, especially in combination with the material used, which allows for a wide range of movements, among other benefits. I should not that I have yet to use these pants for its intended purpose, that is, bouldering (inside or in the gym), but I expect it would confirm this impression. (I will test it soon.) It certainly performs well in my daily life (knowledge work involving a bike commute all year round), and it is not too casual for my line of work. It reminds me of a pair of Gamut pants that I used for several years starting around 2005, 2006, which also quickly became my go-to, do everything pants. They held up really well, and I assume this will also be the case for these pants. They are, clearly, not cheap, but then again, if used they way I use them, these costs will be offset by the experience of happy ownership and greal pants for years to come.

The Cronin Cotton Pants have a clean, classic look with the comfort you expect from Arc'teryx. The cotton fabric feels soft yet substantial and has a quality weight that drapes well. They are easy to move in and comfortable enough for all-day wear, whether at work, traveling, or out around town. They strike a nice balance between casual and refined, which makes them versatile for many situations. The fit is flattering without feeling tight, and the build quality is excellent. These have quickly become a go-to choice when I want something that looks good and feels even better.

Love the fit and comfortable material. 6'3" 190 lbs. the 34R are perfect. Only thing I would like is a built in belt. Great job Arc'teryx!

Incredible comfort, mobility and style for a recent trip to Japan. Great on the plane and stylish around town eating ramen and seeing sites. Noodles wipe off pants with ease as does local beer.

It's my favourite pant. Only down is colour faded in a first wash. Way too comfortable. If you dont mind the colour go head !

Great pants. I use them mainly for free climbing. Good stretching fabric, practical brush pockets and still comfortable when worn with harness.

Glad to see the Cronin brought back, and the updates are positive imo. More stretch in the material while still maintaining the cotton canvas style, roomier fit for freedom of movement on the wall. Been wearing these in various colours all fall-winter, a true staple pant for me. I'm around 30/31" waist, and generally wear a 32 with no belt, which is the case for the Cronin. I also have 2 pairs in a 34 for extra steaz (belt required, but not bunched or annoying).

Just received these in the mail today. Put them on and was instantly uncomfortable with the inseam of the pants around the knee. It rubs the skin with every step and that sucks. I like the way they feel at the waist and how they feel elsewhere. But I can't wear these pants. It's like a tag rubbing you wrong but worse because of the bulkiness of the seams and you can't just cut it out. I get why they thought it was a good idea and it is for a thinner material but not the cronins. Was hoping to wear them on an upcoming trip to Mexico City.

These pants are incredibly comfortable with a looser fit. They allow for full range of motion, without restriction. Definitely worth getting.

I haven't taken them to the gym yet, but the Kragg cotton holds up well and these are essentially a beefier version of the Kragg. Phone pocket is a nice feature. Articulation, material quality, and craftsmanship are top-notch, as usual. Fit is slightly large, just like the Kragg. Tried one pair on and immediately bought another! (Braken then Cloud)

I remember when they used to manufacture their products in North America, and I got the old version of these pants in shades of brown. I still like the convenience of the side zipper with a deep pocket, and I find them comfortable. I only have one real issue and it is their sizing. I ordered 30 tall and regular, and I can tell you there is really no difference. Also, I did notice in the size chart that for size 30 it is the smallest size they make a tall version of these pants in. I am lucky that these pants are barely long enough, but I am just 6 feet tall too. I can tell you the inseam of the tall pair is about 31 inch inseam.

These pants are super comfortable! They are incredibly stretchy, and I like the feel of the cotton blend - they are reminiscent of the Konseal pants from 2022/2023;which are my primary indoor indoor climbing pant. These obviously have a boxier fit, but are not dramatically wide legged or oversized. They also look great as a casual pant; I work at a climbing gym, so it's the perfect blend of the two for me. They seem like they will be nicely durable, they fit comfortably under a harness, and the ankles cuff with ease to stay out of the way of shoes. I am keen to buy more colours as they become available!

Absolutely brilliant in every single detail. And stretchy as well. Well made and deep hand pockets all around and even a zippered side pocket. Couldn't ask for more. Also, stone red is a fantastic color way.

These are the best climbing pants I've ever used! They are neither too loose or too tight. Good amount of stretch and doesn't stick to you when you're sweaty. The material is soft and I like the zip pocket. In some situations, they can also pass as everyday pants.
