The additional cushion in the forefoot is appreciated, but the cushioning now reduces the height inside the shoe. Now it's almost impossible to wear cushioned socks because it makes it too cramped. All of my other ghost max shoes fit well but I believe I will need one size larger in the new max2. It also appears that the width in in the max 2 is less. So any possible benefit from the additional padding is negated by the excessive snugness of the shoe . I believe I need to return the new max 2 and get a larger size and hope it loosens up the overall fit.

To be honest they feel like the beast 23'. I wish they felt more like the Ghost Max 1

Great shoes the foam is very supportive to the feet and forms to them for a better fit

Great for long runs. Comfortable foam. Love the shoes and the majority of Brooks shoes. Feel like they are meant for my feet.

I've tried Asics, Saucony, New Balance and now Brooks. This is the Brooks Beast but with all the comfort, support and security of the Ghost Max hence the Ghost Max 2.

Toe box a little tighter than I like and soles not quite soft enough for me. However the shoe is made really well and the quality of materials seem top notch.

Super comfortable and love the new rocker design. Have always been a fan of Brooks and the design of the wide toe-box available in several models. My appreciation has now grown with the new rocker design. I've tried this out in competitors' shoes, but it just didn't feel 'right' to me. Brooks, though, has incorporated this rocker design in a shoe that feels awesome. Just bought 6 pairs! Also like that they're bringing in more attractive design options. Well done, Brooks!

Ive been a long time fan of Ghosts but the Max 2 is absolutely the best shoe I have ever run in. Maximum cushion, excellent heel-toe motion through the stride, and returned energy throughout the entire run!

More stable support than Max. Much better for walking. Your feet are as old - or older - than you are. Good for comfort & stable stance

These shoes are extremely comfortable and the cushioning is great. My body did not respond well to them so I returned them for a pair of regular Brooks Ghost 16s. Im used to running in Ghosts but I think the Max cushioning allowed me to over stride which hurt my knees. Id definitely recommend them if youre needing extra cushion and Im very happy that Brooks has their 90 day try and bully policy!

I'm a walker. These are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever had.

Too thick. Too tall. Not satisfied with the look of these shoes at all

I needed a cushion shoe for my runs and these have been great. I can feel the support and notice the change of impact when taking each step.

So far, so good. 25 training miles so far. Good padding in tongue and heel, adequate room in toe box, comfortable runs. Was using HOKA Clifton. Ghost Max 2 is heavier but still very comparable.

Love this shoe, very comfortable and well cushioned. I also enjoy how it feels like the shoe propels me forward when I walk or run. Theyre also a decent price in my opinion for what you get. Would recommend to a friend.

Incredibly pillowy shoe. Super comfortable.except for the heel rise. Two mile run left me with blisters. Returned.

Absolutely phenomenal fitting pair of shoes. Very light, and feels like your gliding.

These shoes could make me fly and I wouldn't buy them because of the hideous color schemes.

Dyad model is my 1st choice. Ghost styles are not a substitute for the Dyad. Dyad is stable & has sure footing. The Ghost has an aggressive & tall rocker sole which is very off balance. I walked in & out of the Grande Canyon recently in Dyads & would not with Ghost shoes. Ghost quality is great like all Brooks shoes but not stable.
