Crazy comfortable shoe! Tore my Lis Franc ligament and these shoes have been fantastic during recovery. Love the added cushion, the fit in the toe box, and width.

I've run in adrenaline GTS size 10 4E for years. I like the wide toe box and 4E width, but thought I'd try the Ghost - same size - to get more cushion. It didn't work out because the outer ridges on the sole were too narrow - hurt my feet. I sent them back after only a few miles.

I am a walker and "treadmiller". These shoes are very supportive and comfortable. I wish the heels and mid sole had a little bit more cushioning/bounce to help with my heel pain and mid foot. I wear a 12.5 4E and I sized up to a 13. This extra space is needed. Overall a great shoe that allows me to stay active , but needs some cushioning/shock absorption tweaks for us older bigger guys.

Cushy, very comfortable, great fit, no complaints

Absolutely love this shoe. I have the 1080v13, More v5, Ghost 15, and the Nimbus 26 and I like this shoe the most. It's a little firmer than New Balance's foams and doesn't bottom out like FreshFoamX sometimes does, and I find the upper and the straight last fit my foot much better than the Ghost 15. If future shoes in the Max line are similar and receive incremental improvements, I'll be purchasing a pair every year. My only request is please have a white/neutral/cream color in the 4E widths!!! Every manufacturer of 4E shoes (New Balance, Asics, even Nike) has at least one extra-wide premium model (>=$140) in white/off-white/cream except you Brooks.

I am a nurse that is on my feet at least 12 hours a day and I have wore Hokas for several years but they just seem to break down really fast so I finally decided to try the new Ghost Max 2s. They are soooo comfortable, at the end of my shift my feet are the only things on my body that dont hurt, and the material they are made of just feels like it is of higher quality than my Hokas. Now, lets just see how they hold up but so far Im excited.

Compared to last ghost max model these fit more snug. Be prepared to possibly go up half a size. Length more snug as well as width.

Excellent support and cushioning. I also like the navy, light blue, green combo. I have a wide foot, so I'm thankful for quality running shoes that come in 4E. The top of tongue has a tendency to slide a little to the side, but It doesn't effect the performance.

Cushioning surpasses that of Hoka Speedgoat, yet remains very stable. Returning to running after knee replacement, and the cushioning makes a world of difference. Rocker facilitates transition from heel strike to toe-off, especially when walking. Reasonable weight for such a cushioned shoe. Only negatives are toe box height is too tight and tongues migrate outwards.

I love the shoe, taken my 2s out for a few runs and I ran my fastest 10k in the first model. Can you guys PLEASE gusset the tongue? It drives me crazy when my tongue slides over during my runs. That's my only issue with the shoe.

I have arthritis in my feet. I wore these for 2 weeks and my feet did fine with the cushion right from the beginning. I also bought a pair of Hoka which I wore for 6 hours at work and my feet hurt bad enough I'm not using them for work again.

Most comfortable shoe Ive ever worn, they take away the soreness Ive been fighting for many months. Im not a runner, but walk a lot and theyve been marvelous

Overall the shoes fit nicely except over the in-step where it was too tight.

I love the fit and extremely comfortable. I am very happy that they make This shoe in an extra wide. My only complaint is that in the extra wide the top of the shoe does not hold it shape.

Im a runner but I did not buy these for running. These are my work shoes and I love them. Good recovery shoes to wear all day after my morning run.

Comfortable great shoe..

I expected the Ghost Max 2 to be similar if not better than the Ghost Max originals. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The shoe is much too narrow. The toe box is even more narrow. I have tried wearing the shoes at work and on runs. All day at work my foot feels cramped, even with the laces as loose as possible. On runs, I have had pain in my toes from the narrow toe box. My wife also ordered some Ghost Max 2 and felt the toe box was much too narrow. It stinks to have ordered these due to a free shipping special and now Brooks won't honor that with a return.

As a FedEx driver, I'm on my feet all day. I go up and down stairs and in all kinds of terrain. These shoes are the best shoes I have ever worn, they're like clouds on my feet and I look forward to wearing them everyday. Will definitely be coming back to these and or getting the new model every time.

I'm an over-pronator, with "Fred Flintstone" feet. The shoe fits my wide foot and gives me more toe box room than other running shoes. I do wish the arch support was a bit higher, still wear added arch support. Love the side support, great when cross training ,playing sports, walking or running. Cosmetology is my profession so, I stand on concrete for 8-12 hrs. a shift, 50 plus hrs. a week. My feet, knees and back are thankful for Brooks!!! Will purchase again.

Comfortable and supportive. I recommend em. I use them to power walk. They were perfect out of the box.
