Really great shoe. Tad bulky, but provides awesome stability and comfort. Definitely recommend over the next level up. Have had two pair of the Hyperion shoes fail me with loud g popping noise of recoil piece. However, these shoes have held their ground with my many steps as a nurse each day.

I love these shoes and they're so light and comfortable. My first run with them felt weightless and effortless. The foam helps so much with cushioning my landing and they do propel me forward nicely. Sadly I got the regular before the gts, but these shoes have gotten me to get them next time. Overall a great running shoe

In short, this may be the best running shoe I have ever worn! It has the perfect combination of cushion, weight, and protection for me. As a life-long distance runner, I have always preferred a shoe that is lightweight but provides great cushioning and support. This shoe fills that bill and more. In fact, as a frequent biz traveler, this is the one shoe that I pack to travel with. Whether a tempo run, a longer recovery run or something in between, I feel I am very adequately covered in this shoe.

The Brooks Hyperion 2 running shoe is remarkably comfortable and lightweight. The increased room in the toe box was certainly a bonus, adding to the overall feeling that youre running barefoot. The orange splash of color on the side of the soles adds a nice contrasting pop to the cool light gray of the shoe. The shoelaces were a little odd at first, but I quickly got used to them and saw the benefits of the ridges to keep your laces tied. The rounded sole provides some rolling bounce when running in the shoes giving the feeling of a bit of an extra spring. All in all a solid running shoe thats currently at the top of my rotation!

These are the first shoes to make me speechless in a good way! They are so incredibly light which makes it feel like youre not even wearing shoes when you run. Next, there is so much cushion all around the shoe. From the sole to the back where your Achilles meets the shoe, to where your foot sits. It honestly feels like youre running on a cloud. Its amazing. The colors are vibrant and clean and the breathable mesh on the front top of the shoe keeps my feet cool while running. One more thing that Id like to point out is something Ive never seen before. The shoes laces have like a ribbed/grippy texture to them! I dont know if theres a purpose for that, but they feel really cool and they look cool! I would definitely recommend these to everyone I know. Overall, such a fantastic running shoe!

This is a really great shoe all around. Form the box, to the design of the shoe, the looks and fit. I really loved the look of this shoe. It's not so edgy or extreme that you need to be on the cutting edge of fashion but it's more than just a simple white shoe. I love the orange color on the shoe I have. As far as fit, it was almost perfect for me. It felt a little bit tight around my heel area but I think I just need to break it in a little bit. Otherwise it was a true 10.5 for me. One of the best things about running shoes is how light they are and these were no different. It barely felt like I was wearing anything. Such a comfortable shoe to run in. It's been extremely hot lately and these were as cool as they possibly could be which was another plus. My only slight knock is that I have stepped on some rocks that I felt a little too much, but that's usually the case in running shoes. Over all I really liked these shoes and would recommend them to a beginner or seasoned runner.

The Hyperion 2 fits true-to-size and is extremely lightweight. The foam sole feels bouncy and like it propels you as you take a stride. The upper is a mesh-like material that comfortably hugs your foot, and was very breathable on an almost 100 degree day. Design-wise, the shoe is mostly white, with orange highlights and a very large Brooks logo on one side. I really liked the fit, the lightness, and the amount of cushioning. There is not a lot of arch support, so I would probably look at a different shoe with more support. Additionally, I do not love the large Brooks lettering on the side, and prefer their shoes with more minimal branding. Overall, these seem great for speed work and shorter runs and a worthwhile purchase for a dedicated runner.

The new brooks shoes have all the features you would expect from the brand- comfort cushion, durability, and the new Hyperion is no exception. The edge of them looks like a no show sock, and is very sleek with joggers or shorts. The shoes do run a bit small- which was a bummer! I really wanted these to be my new go to/ so size up half a size and make sure to use a thinner sock!

The Hyperion 2 is arguably some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn - they almost have a slight bounce to them. While they are just a tad snug when worn with socks, that's probably a good thing - otherwise a perfect fit. I like to wear them without socks when just out-and-about walking (and they are plenty comfortable worn this way), my only complaint is that after a while the Brooks logo on the innersole starts sticking to my heel a little, but this is just a minor annoyance. What's really awesome is the back has an almost shoe-horn-like shape, making them a lot easier to pull on and off (without being loose). I have to admit I took a chance on these, as I wasn't quite sure about the color and plentiful Brooks branding (especially the large rubber letters on the sides). I normally gravitate towards shoes with more darker/muted colors, but the white and orange on these have actually grown on me quite a bit. What helps is the mesh-like fabric gives the white a more grey-like appearance, and the orange is a gradient accent (instead of being a single bright color all over). The mesh is also not one-note, having an almost parquet-like design which looks pretty cool. The large Brooks logo is also on the inner side of the shoes and a more understated grey color, so after awhile I didn't mind being a walking/running advertisement. So, I just mentioned the mesh-like fabric, but there's more to it than just its pleasing appearance. I did notice that when I wore the shoes without socks, my feet stayed nice and cool, but at first I just attributed this to the fact that I wasn't wearing socks. The first time I wore these shoes with socks, though, I immediately felt a pleasant "breeze" on my feet, which is definitely something new for me. Equally new to me are the tongues on these shoes, which are made of a thin but padded neoprene(-like?) material which extends into the side with a stretchy material - both stayed cool and comfortable for my feet. Finally, even the laces were novel to me, being made of a flat but textured fabric which made them easy to tie and untie intentionally, but difficult to knot or loosen accidentally. While I'd prefer elastic laces which never need to be tied/untied, these are definitely a close second. All-in-all, what I think I like the most about the Hyperion 2 is, with the exception of fancier/formal events, I feel comfortable wearing these shoes just about any time with anything - I've worn them to work with socks and jeans, as well as with shorts (with and without socks). I'm not sure I'd wear them in ugly winter weather, and I haven't had the opportunity to test the breathable mesh against heavy rain, but when the soles get wet, they are quite squeaky on certain floors - I'm a little self-conscious about that, so that would probably be one thing I'd change about them if possible.

These Hyperion running shoes are so easy to love! My husband is a long time runner and while I don't run much anymore, Brooks was always my favorite and these helped to convert him from a New Balance guy to Brooks! The fit and feel were great - the sizing was true to fit with the perfect amoutn of room in the toe box, they molded well to his foot, and the design is neutral enough but still has some fun design. My favorite part was the apparent durability and ease of cleaning! They look and feel great, even after several miles! Would recommend to both my running buddies and to other friends that are searching for a good-looking, comfortable active shoe!

These are my new go to's for everyday wear and family walks! They are such great colors for summer and so comfortable! There is no need to break them in as they were perfect the first time I wore them. The shoe is light and breathable. The shoe laces stay tied without having to double knot them. My toes don't feel cramped and they are true to size. Brooks are definitely a brand at the top of my list when it comes to sneakers!

I got the Hyperion 2 for my husband in size 8.5 and it was a little loose for him, but he is still able to wear them comfortably. He typically wears size 8/8.5 depending on the brand. He thought the fabric was flexible and breathable so he feet doesnt get sweaty. He really likes the cushion on these shoes and said hes able to wear them all day at work where he stands/walks majority of the day without his feet feeling sore. Overall, besides the sizing, he likes these shoes and they have replaced his old work shoes.

Overall I really liked this running shoe and would recommend it to others. The fit of the shoe was true to size both in length and width. The feel of the shoe was light and bouncy, with lots of cushion. Really liked design of the shoe. Looked modern. It wasnt too flashy to stand out, but flashy enough to be unique. I received compliments on them already. I think this design and color would appeal to a wide variety of people. My only concern is the white could get dirty and look worn quite quickly, depending on running conditions. The fabric was airy and breathable. My feet didnt get too hot when running. The fabric is the right amount of stretchy and snug at the same time. I most liked how light these shoes are. For the amount of support the shoe had, they were incredibly light. I dont think I would change much about these shoes. I dont do a lot of speed running workout, but these running shoes would be best for that. It is a little less intentional for more casual running like I do, but still works great. It is curved in the front and back and is designed to propel you forward which can be felt throughout the run.

I have about 15 miles on the Hyperion 2 shoes and so far Im struggling to find something I dont like. They fit like a glove out of the box and got even better after I relaced them. The fabric and build is extremely light and seems to allow for plenty of expansion as my foot swells throughout the day. Of course my feet are hot at the end of a run, but the mesh fabric breathes well. On my first run I was concerned that the midsole cushion would be too soft but its surprisingly stable and comfortable. Were still seeing late spring showers here in the northwest - the sole seems to have plenty of grip on the road, although I havent experienced heavy rains while wearing the Hyperion 2. I usually run between 3-4 miles at a time. What stands out about the Hyperion is how comfortable they are at the end of the run and how my body feels the next day. So far, I havent experienced any hot spots or numb toes. And my legs, knees, and hips are noticeably less fatigued in the hours and days after a run. I dont mind dirty running shoes. But if you like the look of shiny new kicks out of the box, dont buy the illusion/coral/black version. After one run that new look was gone. But thats to be expected with any lighter colored shoe. I know 15 miles in a shoe isnt a lot. Time will tell how these shoes hold up. But right now I dont want to take them off.

The design of these shoes have a really nice clean look. Not too bold, nor too conserved. Somewhat unique with the high back behind the heel. I really look for running shoes with a great fit and the fit was spot on, not too narrow, nor too wide, which made for a smooth ride. They seem true to size. They have a very extra cushy feel, however almost to the point of feeling a bit unstable underfoot, but not quite. This makes for good cushioning and impact mitigation while running though. The fabric was very breathable and they feel durable. I especially liked how lightweight they are. My only recommendation is that maybe if they made the shoe broader at the heel it would feel more stable with the extra cushion. Definitely would recommend.

The Brooks Hyperion Tempo 2 has quickly become my go-to running shoe for both training and racing. The DNA FLASH midsole provides an incredible balance of responsive cushioning and lightweight performance, giving me a bouncy, energetic ride that keeps me going mile after mile. I love how the breathable mesh upper fits snugly around my foot, keeping me cool and comfortable even on long runs. The durable rubber outsole offers excellent traction on various surfaces, so I feel confident no matter where I'm running. Its sleek design and adaptability to different foot shapes are definite pluses. While it might not offer enough support for severe overpronators and comes at a higher price point, the Hyperion Tempo 2s overall performance and durability make it well worth the investment for serious runners like me.

Really like the look of these, but they don't feel good at all on my feet. The laces are fun with an interesting feel and design which isn't apparent from photos: they have a texture to the white threading on the edges which wraps-around. Hard to describe, but I hope to see these laces on other shoes or find them after market to put on some kicks.

I felt like this shoe was designed for a younger foot than mine. Great looking shoe and lightweight. My go to shoe is the glycerin 20 and it's the best shoe I've owned. I'm trying to find a replacement and it's hard.

Shoe is light, responsive. The lower rating is because the shoe runs a little large. I wear a 10.5 (US) in my other Brooks, but 10.5 (US) in this shoe fits closer to an 11 (US).

The soft DNA Flash midsole is easily subject to tear, puncture, abrasion, and avulsion. I've worn my new pair o my office job less than 5 times and already have damage. Otherwise happy with the shoes, but may avoid this type of sole in the future.

#LoveMyBrooksRunningShoes... but absolutely hated these particular shoes for the Cooper River Bridge 10K I just completed. I feet felt horrible and I am grateful that I was able to push passed the pure pain I expressed to finish the race. There was very little support and around mile 3 or 4, it felt as though I was walking on broken bones.
