Fantastic sneakergood variation to the Hyperion max 2. Used it in a Deka fit race and it was perfect.

This is my first Brooks running shoe in a very very long time. The Hyperion 2 did not disappoint, fits true to size, comfortable, supportive and responsive. It's not nearly as responsive and fast as the Super Shoes from Saucony, Nike and Adidas but overall a solid daily trainer.

Light shoe and fast, its got a nice upper and the laces are on point. Responsive sole, but also soft enough for my long runs. That being said, the only thing I do not like about this shoe is a strange extra firm feeling on the inside bottom of each heel like it's raised more than the outside of each heel. Maybe this is supposed to be extra support for heel strike? I don't really know if it's going to wear down over time for me because I'm more of a mid-to-fore-foot striker. To be honest, I was going to give 4 stars because of this, but I think I'm going to have to knock it down to 3 stars - it's annoying. Still keeping it in the rotation, it's an excellent shoe for tempo runs and speed work. It's too late for me to return, but I can't wait till this one is phase out for me.

I felt like this shoe was designed for a younger foot than mine. Great looking shoe and lightweight. My go to shoe is the glycerin 20 and its the best shoe Ive owned. Im trying to find a replacement and its hard.

Have been running in brooks shoes for 20 years, have put many hundreds of miles on ghost, adrenaline, Ravenna, launch, and glycerin and the first hyperion models. These are BY FAR my favorite shoes yet. Super light, just supportive enough, fantastic tongue design. They disappear underneath you and let you excel at whatever type of run you're getting into that day. Amazing job, brooks!

Great fit and comfortable running experience right out of the box. Very satisfied with this choice. I can see staying with Brooks shoes and maybe this exact shoe for a while.

Good fit, not too bouncy. I bought for a training shoe in my rotation, however after running in it about three times, I think Im going to use for training and for an upcoming 5K run!

I'm a runner who has done several marathons, half-marathons, and other runs (including trail races). I typically like to rotate between zero-drop shoes and shoes like this Hyperion 2 that has some drop. These Hyperion 2's are really good road runners.
They have cushion, but not so much that it's too soft. It's just right for those longer runs. The fit is pretty regular for my size 12 feet - a 12 fits like it should. My toes aren't squished and my heel doesn't slip around. Also, they have good traction on wet pavement. The laces are great - they don't come loose so quickly and often. Also, I'm guessing these will last well over 400 miles. (My last pair of Brooks Ghosts lasted about 800 miles!)
My only negative is that there's a little arch support that I don't prefer. I don't really think about it when I'm running, but when I'm walking the small arch support is somewhat annoying.

These shoes are great. I transitioned to the 2s from Tempos and was worried about the feel but they are so comfortable on my feet. I wear insoles so I probably get a bit more bounce than typical but thats fine with me. The only issue that I have is that I tend to run at a quicker pace than I do in other shoes, so I have to be aware of that on longer runs. I also like the larger toe box. No more squished toes.

Outstanding shoe - truly kind of unique in the running market. Not a super stack, not sloppy soft, but a great fitting last with accommodating width and volume. The midsole durometer/density does my 128 lbs. very well, but I feel it would be perfect for those even ~40 lbs. heavier. The asymmetric lacing is ingenious, as is the discreetly padded tongue; and, the laces! keep them, please! Never surrender them! You know, I dont even double-knot them!
Gravel, pavement, treadmill, hills, etc. Im happy. ( I am a rather neutral, midfoot runner.) Ive had all the Hyperion models of the past, and most of the other major lightweight players, and the Hyperion 2 is the hands-down winner.

After my first couple runs Im in love with this shoe. Not too much cushion but enough to sustain a road run. True fit and good for those with arches

Bought the shoes thinking it would be an improvement over the Ghosts which I have been using for over 10 years. I average 4-5 miles a day 5 days a week and have always felt stable and painless with the Ghosts. Used the Hyperion 2s for about two weeks and had to return them. The shoes felt unstable, I felt every rock I stepped on, and began having heel pain. Returned the shoes and ordered a pair of the Ghost Maxbest decision.

It's a nice shoe. It could use a little more structure in the upper, my foot kinda manipulates the fabric a lot. I'll save it for my shorter easy runs.

As a heavier runner, I have found my go-to shoe. I wanted something light but also protective enough. And here we are. Thank you, Brooks, for providing a significant update on a good shoe. I have bought multiple pairs.
