These shoes are fast!! Love the laces! Very natural, easy cushion drop. Just put them through a 5k and performed beyond expectation. Would definitely recommend! Anxious to see how theyll hold up for 10k/+

Really loving the Hyperion 2 after a few weeks of regular use. Great fit, super light & just keeps going. Mixing it in to the rotation & will use it as my race shoe in a few weeks

I went from the Hoka Rincon 3s to the Hyperion 2s. The Hyperion has a lower to the ground feel, but is somehow a bit springier. It also feels quite a bit lighter than the Hokas. Overall, I've really enjoyed running in the shoe, but there is one drawback that may be a dealbreaker for some runners. This is a fairly roomy shoe that seems to have extra space in the heel box. It also has a relatively narrow sole. This can make the shoe feel unstable going down hills or around even standard sidewalk corners. Tightening it down more than normal has helped me solve this problem, but it's still not as stable a shoe as my old Hokas were. With that said, I've really enjoyed the shoe. It's done well on the hills in my neighborhood. It's been comfortable in summer heat and has done well in light rain. The tread also seems soft enough to hold up in heavier rain this winter. It's light and bouncy without the profile of a maximalist shoe. Overall, I'm happy with my pair.

I love the look of the shoe, and it fits true to size for me. The problem I have is that for some reason my right foot consistently "falls asleep" while running in these shoes. I tie my laces very loosely on purpose to avoid this problem and yet after about mile 4 it happens every time. The cushion also seems to have worn down a good bit after 70 miles have been put on them. I may look to return these shoes or just use them occasionally.

Love the shoe. ABSOLUTELY HATE your bait and switch photos. The HUGE BROOKS letters on the insider of the shoe is extremely bad. When I bought the shoe, which I love Brooks brand, you don't show how horribly gaudy the other side of the shoe is. I want to send it back.

These shoes really hit the mark. Fast and light and leave me wanting to run in them. I ran a half marathon and had no concerns about their cushioning over time. Put it simply, these shoes rock. I will add for clarity that I find they are slightly narrower than my other running shoes. Not so much that its a problem, but noticeable.

I got these primarily for heavy walking. I have larger feet and border on 11.5 and 12 normally, sometimes 11.5 wide. Most important is room at the forefoot where mine are thick. These feel a touch snug there but they are comfortable and feel like they may wear in a little but very comfortable. They fit at least as comfortably as my typical 11.5 with the obvious advantage of a flexible lightweight upper that will accommodate a lot more than sturdier materials. I think this are great so far. A lot softer than I was expecting and looking for but not bad especially in use. I don't have any issues slipping or shifting around in them. No soreness or blisters in the forefoot at all like what happens in other shoes. I think that these are a bit better than the ghost for prolonged walking. Less than 2 miles at a time is fine for the ghosts but I felt even more comfortable in these after that. They are EXTREMELY breathable, I was able to feel a cool breeze outside which is pretty rare for me no matter the shoe. Will update if anything changes over time such as premature wear or breaking down.

The Hyperion 2 is my first Brooks shoe and what a revelation, fast, light and comfortable. Have had this shoe for 2 weeks now and since have set my fastest 5k and 10k. Ground contact and feel are the highlights of this shoe and as an old school runner who prefers less stack height this shoe is perfect for me. The advantage Ive gained over my previous Nike Pegasus 38 is roughly 20 seconds per mile with the same relative effort. Well done Brooks, I absolutely love this shoe.

So close to the perfect shoe. Lightweight, amazing upper, laces, lock down and responsiveness. But, as others have mentioned, there is just something not right with the heel of the shoe. Despite many different lacing techniques, I never felt like I could get my left foot in the right spot. It was awkward to walk around in and could be uncomfortable during longer usage.

I really liked these shoes! However, I had to send them back because they are too narrow. Please make performance shoes in wide sizes for us wide foot people!

Just ordered these last week. They came in 3 days! Had a 10 mile road race the day after so I decided to wear them right out of the box. They were comfortable, breathable, and have some good bounce to them. I can tell you that I have tried other shoe brands, but none have impacted my running like Brooks.

Great shoe! I was previously running in the Hyperion Tempo and was admittedly nervous when it was phased out. I ordered the Hyperion 2 and love the wider toe box. It also feels speedy with enough support to be comfortable. I am likely going to buy another pair soon as I think it's actually an upgrade v. the Hyperion Tempo.

I really enjoy this shoe for speed work or threshold runs that aren't overly long in length. Just feels fast and does what it's supposed to do. Also, the shoe looks awesome. Love the off-white coconut color way.

I've been training in Ghosts for years, but wanted a little extra foam between me and the road. I'm so happy with the Hyperion 2 that I'm shifting to these permanently as a daily trainer. My only complaint is the tongue. It irritates my skin so I have to be sure to pull my socks up. A little annoying, but manageable.

I'm a runner who has done several marathons, half-marathons, and other runs (including trail races). I typically like to rotate between zero-drop shoes and shoes like this Hyperion 2 that has some drop. These Hyperion 2's are really good road runners. They have cushion, but not so much that it's too soft. It's just right for those longer runs. The fit is pretty regular for my size 12 feet - a 12 fits like it should. My toes aren't squished and my heel doesn't slip around. Also, they have good traction on wet pavement. The laces are great - they don't come loose so quickly and often. Also, I'm guessing these will last well over 400 miles. (My last pair of Brooks Ghosts lasted about 800 miles!) My only negative is that there's a little arch support that I don't prefer. I don't really think about it when I'm running, but when I'm walking the small arch support is somewhat annoying.

Went out on a limb buying these speedy shoes. Very cool looking and very lightweight. Good cushion and transitions. BUT it felt like the outside half of my foot was on the shoe and the inside half was hanging over the edge. Bad hot spots on long runs and discomfort from this shoe even when walking. I do not have wide feet, maybe buy a size wider but unfortunately I will be returning these shoes.
