Hyperion tempos were my go to shoe until I started training for my first marathon. I've noticed soreness and less energy to go further, so I ordered a pair of Hyperion 2, after hitting 26.2 miles in the neighborhood and running the Rocky run Italian stallion challenge 13.1mi with one month of use they did achieve my goal. The only problem I have is the treadwear on the bottom is almost totally gone, so I had to order another pair before my marathon on November 24. I only trained two times a week. After this marathon, I may have to find another model that can last longer, but I'm not sure if there is. I have 10 pairs of Hyperion tempos which I guess I'm gonna use for the lower miles.

Extremely light weight, great cushion. I have been using them for walking. Bought my husband a pair and he also loves them and has commented on the cushion when he takes each step. Would definitely purchase these shoes again. I bought the dark grey color and the color is exactly as depicted in the photos. They look dressy worn with jeans.

This shoe is amazing. Worth every bit of the price. Uppers are padded and ventilated. Shoe is very light. DNA flash midsole is firm. Tread is thin with light texture. flat laces and forked tongue appreciated. I had the Hyperion tempo before this, and thought it was great, but this shoe is a whole next level.

When I first got my pair I was skeptical. They were so lightweight they felt cheap. They are still new but they're holding up well. I sometimes struggle to get the tongue comfortable. They're gussetted but only on 1 side. Overall, I like the shoes and would recommend them.

Wore these out of the box for a 5k race. They worked great! Light and very responsive. Comfortable too. Im still a fan of old school racing shoes (ie, the slimmed down shoes of yore). While these have a fair bit more cushioning than traditional racing shoes, they dont feel bulky. I also like a speed/race shoe without a plate. These fit the bill. Well done Brooks! Please maintain a shoe like this thats not too beefy in your lineup!

I have been a long time Brooks fan! Prior to buying these shoes I loved the Brooks levitate stealth fit but sadly they have been discontinued. I am no longer running and only walking about 3 miles a day/5-6 days a week. A Brooks representative recommended that I try the Hyperion 2. Unfortunately, after only about 6 weeks of wear the tread on the ball of the foot was worn down significantly. I have already contacted Brooks and their customer service was amazing. They really do stand by their products. Brooks please make another shoe with a similar heel drop to the levitate and a sturdier sole tread.

Average shoe. Found the previous hyperion model better. Do like tongue update and does good job locking foot in snugly at heel. But feeling some uncomfortable spots near big toes and under the arch of foot. Not worth the price of 140. More of 80-90 value shoe.

I like them! Im very impressed by them! Very roomy and an easy fit especially those who seldom have discomfort when running. These are great! I was wearing an ASICS brand before this and I can say that these are much better. Especially, as I said, when you factor in the comfort that you may need when running. These have shown to be an added bonus. Also. The design. I love this particular design. I am not a fan of the other designs for the other running shoes but on this one I am. If they make more of these with this same type of design then for sure I will be buying more

I love this shoes so far! I have had them for about 2 months now with my furthest run being a 13 miles. They haven't caused any issues, have great support, have great cushion without being too soft, and the lightweight of them have really been awesome. I am treating these as my daily runners (I run 2-3 times per week) and enjoy them. I transitioned from the hyperion tempo to this shoe and feel as though these are better as an all around shoe.

The best fit and feel on my feet of any shoe. Good stability and fast feel. Good cushion but not overly so.

Bottom Line - I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend these to anyone. I've gotten about 15-20 miles in, and really like the fit and feel of this shoe. I don't love overly cushioned shoes, and these fit that bill. They are very light and comfortable making them perfect for the few runs I've had them on. They still felt comfortable into mile 7 of a decent run. For context, I've trained for, and run, my last several 1/2 marathons in the Levitate (which I feel like gets a bad rep - great shoe) - the Hyperions are lighter to run in, and I'll be curious to see if they hold up like the Levitates do.

Loved the comfort and breathability of this shoe. Very soft but responsive midsole and I could feel my feet cooling down due to the great ventilation on the upper. I had problems with the width in my midfoot, just couldn't get the fit dialed in right even with different lacing techniques. I'm normally a size 14 and I felt the shoe length was good but I don't think the shoe had enough volume for my foot. For someone with lower arches or narrower feet this would be a great daily trainer and it feels light enough to pick up speed quickly for tempo runs. Might consider bumping up a size to see if that helps at all!

I was worried about the significant changes from previous Hyperion versions, including the Tempo. But this is an excellent update. I'm primarily a trail runner, but on my road days, I'm not reaching for anything but this!

I really like these shoes. I usually wear a 12.5 B width in Brooks shoes. There are not many options for people with narrow feet. These fit perfect even though they are C width. The heel does not slip and the corrugated shoes laces really hold well. I bought a second pair and use one for running and one for walking around the city.

This is my go to shoe for speed/tempo runs. I really like the low to ground feeling and feels super stable coming around turns on a track. The upper is breathable and midsole is very comfortable. These really come alive at higher paces. Cant wait to use these for my next 5k

The Hyperion 2 is a great fast pace daily trainer and great race day shoe It will take 1-2 weeks to break in if you only use them for runs and nothing else but other than that theyre great. I will buy again in the future

Purchased for my teenage son who runs cross country. He loves the weight and comfort of the shoe and actually prefers it to the Ghost2, which has been his go-to. He says it feels faster.

Feels great on the track. A bit narrow for me but its a speed shoe and not a shoe you will spend all day in so I don't mind it that much. Quite a spacious toebox. Looks great. Definitely on the firmer side so not the greatest for recovery runs but it gets the job done.
