Comfort wise it’s what you expect from a Birkenstock, well the footbed at least. These should have worked, there was a little more room than my typical birk fit, but not enough to size down. The problem was the placement of the straps. The wrap around ankle, sits too low, the widest part of the ankle, I struggled to get the buckle in the last hole. Took a few steps in them and could tell the front strap wasn’t at the right spot, and will probably rub against my first two toes. Sigh. Returning

I had to return these sandals as they were too short. I ordered a 10-10 1/2 so they should have fit as I usually wear a size 10. The width was fine but the heel height was more like a 2 inch so a little higher than I was expecting.

I really love Birkenstock’s so I bought this because it was dressier. did not fit my foot well. I thought about a size down but it was out of stock.

I love Birkenstock sandals. I bought these for a dressier comfortable option but they were too big and did not fit my foot well. thought about exchanging for size smaller but you did not have them.

I tried with these but they just didn’t work with my plantar fasciitis like I thought they would.

Getting stylish shoes in narrow widths is a huge challenge. I loved these shoes and they fit really well but the sole was SO hard and the shoe itself was heavy on my feet. I’ve never liked Birkenstock styling but these were cute. disappointed that they didn’t work for me. I

Love the shoe but the ankle strap is way too short. Didn't want to punch a new hole in an expensive pair of shoes.

The soles were so comfortable. The strap across the toe had rough edges that would surely cut up my feet. The gold buckle made an expensive shoe look cheap and tacky. For the price, I expected Birkenstock quality. They were not, so they were returned.

Size is fine. Not as comfy as I thought they would be and not as cute either! So bummed!

Too wide for narrow feet. Even with the buckles tightened on the first hole, they are wide. Love the style, materials and platform though, the buckles are a pretty look. Super disappointed I have to return them.

I really wanted these shoes to work for me, but they did not. The shoes have an odd toe bump that hits the bottom of your toes awkwardly if they do not fit just right. I ordered the 39 and the 40. I am usually a 9.5. The 39 was too short and the 40 was a bit too wide. I had to send them both back.

The Soley sandal is so cute! Ordered my regular size 36, but being a wedge, my foot would slide forward and toes were right on edge of shoe and not comfortable. Very disappointed that I had to return them. Would like to see wedge lowered or raise the platform higher so foot doesn't slide forward.

These are great sandals but the straps were not made of soft leather. They are hard leather and made the shoe extremely uncomfortable for me. Back they go!

I ordered narrow, but they were too wide. There is a buckle on the toe to tighten, but that made the shoe very uncomfortable. I guess Birks are not for me.

The narrow ones are definitely NOT narrow. I can get an index finger and my pinkie inside next to my toes. I am fairly disappointed and have not yet worn them. Maybe they will be perfect on a hundred degree day?

Wider than other Papillio narrows, particularly in the ball of the foot area. Cut for a flat/shallow yet wide foot.

This shoe is not "narrow" as indicated on the website. It is much wider than expected. I had to return.

Actually I cannot review the fit of this shoe... I struggled and struggled to get the buckles undone so I could try them on - Couldn't unbuckle them - had my daughter come in and try -I just decided it wasn't worth the struggle and put them back into the box. So disappointed!

the shoe was way too big and the gold buckles were not very attractive. Made them look cheap

Ran very wide.

the strap cut across my little toe.Also the leather on the right shoe was very stiff ,making it difficult to adjust straps.

These sandals were very pretty and looked good, but they ran wider than my flat Birkenstock sandals and definitely were too wide. The buckle closure irritated my toe and I sent them back.

Sadly, there is a little tiny piece of metal on the bottom of the buckle that rubs on the toe. In the summer, this will definitely cut up feet. Despite how cute these were, and how comfortable the cork was, I had to return.

Extremely wide, even though marked "Narrow"!

OUCH! I have several pairs of Papillios and love them, but this style is not comfortable at all. The strap that goes across the ball of the foot/toes falls in a really awkward place, cutting into my foot when I flex. It also constricts the movement of the ball of my foot so that my toes flatten and stick out a little from the front edge. Definitely returning.
