The leather is hard and digs into my foot. I didn't keep the box or else I'd return them.

Loved the style and they looked really cute but they are too narrow for my feet.

Very cute sandals. The color is more lavender than pink. I usually wear a 6 1/2 and these size 37’s were too large. Even putting the buckle on the last hole they were too big. And the leather was very stiff and scratchy on the top of my foot. Sadly I had to return them.

The plastic footbed and buckle really disappointed me. I love the original corn footbed for comfort and metal buckles for quality. The price on these are way too high.

I normally wear a 41 regular in Birkenstock shoes; the 41 in the Madrid style is narrow and also felt too short. I returned for a 42, which fit better, but the leather on the strap was missing part of the bottom layer on both shoes. I was afraid they would wrinkle/wear funny over time, so I returned for another--hopefully perfect--replacement pair.

I love the look of these slides. Sadly, after a few days, my feet started to hurt. The footbed is very slippery, unlike my other Birkenstocks.

I love the look of this shoe and it is super comfortable. That being said, the suction (fart) noise that it makes when you walk made it a no go for me. if they will make this shoe with the standard line I would buy one.

I was disappointed with the quality. The footbed looked overly shaped. I am used to a more boxy toe area with this brand. It looked strange to me. Perhaps because it is not made in Germany and has become more trendy

The style is very cute unfortunately the little humps on the inside corners of the shoe irritated my feet

Fit TTS for me. Buckle rubbed against the top of my toes and shoes made a "farting" noise sometimes when I walked. My teenage sons thought these looked less "Birkenstock" than other styles, but they both agreed they were still ugly and since they were not comfortable for me, they were returned.

Perfect fit to size...beautiful shoe. How can it possibly be so uncomfortable around the buckle side.

I wanted to love these so much, I love the Madrid model but might prefer the older one without the big buckle,but why that big gold shiny buckle??? Aside from that buckle I love the look but not for me, I will stick with the original Madrid model with the smaller buckle.

I loved these so much. The pink color and footbed lining are just so beautiful and the big buckle is really stylish. Unfortunately, the buckle hurt SO much on the top of my foot. It dug in so hard when walking and adjusting the buckle hole just made it hurt worse. I read other reviews saying the big buckle dug into their feet too, but I thought I'd take a chance and give it a shot. So sad to have to send them back. They are pretty narrow, too, and as someone who generally wears a regular width in Birks, it would be good to know that the narrow IS quite narrow (and I don't have wide feet).

The leather was scuffed out of the box, and the foot bed was plastic, not cork.

These ran about a size small.

Loved the shoe but the big buckle hurt the top of my foot when I walked. I moved to a different hole but nothing helped. Really cute shoe. Too bad it did not work.

I love everything about this shoe except I have to break it in. It’s terribly uncomfortable initially but it requires breaking in and once that’s done, I’m sure I’ll differently.

I only wear birkenstocks -- have over a dozen pairs -- and i wish these had worked out. i wanted to love them. I ordered my usual size (39) in N width, but they were too large, right out of the box. I put the buckle in the last hole but it throws off the fit. the length is just too long; and even the N width feels too wide. i own several pairs with the narrower strap from past years and love them, but this revised style is a non-starter for me. sadly, i'm going to exchange this pair for another pair of arizonas or gizehs. i only wear birkenstocks, so this was a disappointment. i do love the brighter colors this year. and i still love birkenstocks!

I have a wide foot. Reading previous reviews, I thought that these would be ok as they tend to run wide. The strap is wide enough, but the toe area is angled in a way that does not fit a wide foot. The footbed does not line up properly with my foot. Had to return since the ridge fell right under my big toe. Really cute sandal. I wish that Birkenstock made some of their more fashionable styles in regular widths.

Love the style lie better than any Birkies ever, BUT, plastic sole??? not for me, sadly.

I am returning the Brandy Nubuck Madrid Big Buckle sandals because the leather strap is very stiff and did not feel right on my feet. I ordered the Yellow Ocher Madrid Big Buckle sandals at the same time. the leather strap on the yellow sandals is pliable and feels very comfortable on my feet.

These are so cute but on the narrowest buckle it was even a bit wide. My feet are very average width. Had to return.

I have to return this pair & size down, however they are adorable!

Despite the pictures, the footbed on this pair of shoes is fake cork - plastic. Yuck. For the money, it should be cork like the rest. Also, these are so large as to look like clodhoppers. Returning immediately.
