These sandals are so super cute!!! I'm so sad the fit of this style was so poor overall. I put them on and walked around the house and my foot slid around in them the entire time. When I stopped, my foot was shoved so far forward in the shoe, my toes were hanging over the front. I LOVE the look and feel of them when I just stand still, but sadly I would not be able to do much walking at all in these. The one-strap-on-top style just does not provide enough support or stability. Therefore, I'm returning and I'll stick with the more traditional Arizona style for all future Birkenstock purchases.

The toe box was a lot narrower than I expected. Did not match up with my fave pair of narrow Arizona's

VERY CUTE AND STYLISH FOR BIRKS. THEY WERE TO NARY CAUSING THEM TO BE UNCOMFORTABLE WHEN I WALK. I WAS DISAPPOINTED THEY DIDN'T WORK OUT.

I really wanted to love these shoes, they are cute, well made and have a comfortable foot bed but the strap is very wide, even tightening it as much as possible it was still lose and looks odd. Unfortunately they had to be sent back.

Love the big buckle! I have never had a pair of Birks give me blisters like these though. The leather is very stiff and I have to find a good way to soften it before I can seriously wear these shoes - the only reason that I took off stars.

Loved everything about this except just was NOT a fan of the SHINY gold buckle. Might have liked more if the buckle was not SHINY gold maybe a more distressed brass/gold.

They're gorgeous but the stap just isn't tight enough for me and I don't have "dainty" feet, I have regular feet :) I considered taking them in a getting another hole punched in the strap, but if that doesn't work, then I'm stuck with them (also, if I add another punch, the extra part of the strap will hang almost to the ground) So sadly, I have to return them.

These are the most uncomfortable Birkenstocks ever. I've been wearing Birks my whole life, including Madrids, but this one is a mess. Why is there smooth leather and not the usual suade. Your foot slips around, it feels like plastic not leather, its a mess. And why are they so narrow and shorter than the normal size 38. Was this shoes even really made by Birkestock???

Shocked by all of these reviews, I have always been a 10 in Birkenstocks and have multiple pairs. I tried the 41 and it was comically small, exchanged for the 42 and it feels barely any different. You shouldnt have to size up 2 whole sizes for a shoe to fit length wise. Poor construction, not as comfortable as other Birks, disappointed.

The strap digs into the top of my foot. The leather isn't soft and it's painful. I read so many reviews saying these shoes are comfortable. They are not. Cute but painful.

Painful buckle. This shoe is super attractive and I really wanted it to work. However, as the other reviews stated, the large buckle is painful on the top of my foot and caused significant bruising. Sadly, I have to return. It's almost as if the Birkenstock team didn't do any quality assurance - no testing or anything. It's that bad!

Cute sandal unfortunately the buckle side of the Strap digs into the top on my feet. Never had issues before with Birks, not willing to try and break these in. Also, footbed is the original, not a softbed, so overall a no-go for me.

I have a wide foot and these were still too sloppy, though I loved the patent leather

The patent leather is a harder leather so the strap at the top rubbed my foot. Not comfortable at all.

I returned these birkenstocks because they were so hard to stand on. I do wear birkenstocks in different styles and was trying out another style but did not like these

These are not the quality I'm used to with Birkenstocks. They look and feel cheaply made.

These are so cute I have been wearing them around the house to try and break them in. They are my least comfortable Birkenstock shoe because the buckle digs into the top of the foot if tightened for a snug fit to prevent the shoe from flopping. This is magnified by the inflexible sole. Without the snug fit, my foot slips too far forward. My feet are super narrow so the narrow size otherwise works as far as width goes. However the length is a tad short even though this is my Birkenstock size in other styles. Unless I keep my foot fastened in with the buckle tightened, my toes will slip out over the shoe for a truly cringe- worthy look and feel. I’ve worn them for a few days and they are used now so I can’t really return them. I have tried really hard to make them work and will wear them as a house shoe as I decide if they can be an outdoor shoe. I’m hoping that if they continue to mold to my foot and stretch that they will work but this is nowhere near the typical love at first feel I get with Birkenstocks. If they weren’t so darned cute I would have immediately returned them. They are not the Birkenstock’s I’d wear on a day with a lot of walking, which is what I typically want in this brand of shoe- a sandal like the others that I could walk to the end of the earth in. I would recommend trying a couple of sizes before settling.

So disappointed in these sandals. Never felt like they broke in and became comfortable. I wore several times but couldn't wait to take them off when I got home. Too late to return.

Super cute shoes. But I had to return. They would not stay securely on my feet. The buckles can be adjusted near the toe box which is helpful but they kept slipping as I walked. The shoe seem to fit the footbed but they just would not stay in place. I really like the look of the shoe.

I really loved the look but they cut into the top of my feet which made the impossible to walk in without pain. I think the leather was too hard to break.

Wish I could wear the single strap because they are cute…Forget it, back to double strap to stay on my foot

I thought these were really cute, but they were not comfortable. The strap across the toes was very uncomfortable. My foot wouldn't stay in the sandal.

The leather strap scratched the tops of my feet. Loosening the buckle only made it more obvious. I usually find Birks very comfortable, but these didn't work for me.

The fit was great. The shoes came with the leather on both shoes very scuffed up and the buckle was not done on the shoes. Not sure if this is how the shoe is supposed to be or if it was a return but for the money they should have been in perfect condition.
