SENT THE WRONG SHOE AND SIZE.

the color is way darker than pictured

The tobacco color representation is extremely inaccurate.

Was sent the wrong color TWICE so returned both and bought them direct from birkenstock. I like the shoe, not the zappos service. What happened to zappos? used to be so reliable.

The shoes had been worn. There were scratches on the leather and they were not in a Birkenstock box. The box said that the original box had been damaged in transit so the shoes were put into another box. I tried to call/message customer service, but they weren't available. I'm done with Zappos. You used to be a good, responsive company, not any more.

The shoes appeared to be from different die lots as the do not match.

The leather on the upper part of the shoe was hard,shiny and felt cheap.Not what previous Birkenstocks felt like at all.

This is very different than the pair I purchased from Germany about 10 years ago.....I cannot wear them as my arch and ankle are paining me so much since I purchased these. I am terribly disappointed. I still have my old pair and may try to find a shoe repair center to put a new sole on the heel portion as that is what wore out. I am going to try to get a refund from Zappo's.

The shoes are great and the idea of Zappos is great. I ordered this pair and got a different Suede Taupe…the first time. Customer service was great! They sent a replacement pair. Box matches description above and I got a 2nd pair of Suede Taupe!! I refunded and said I’d try one last time. They apologized and were actually wonderful but the 3rd pair were…Suede Taupe. I never got the Brown Leather i ordered and in fact I overpaid by $10 (the brown leather i never got is $10 more expensive). I give up. I love the idea of Zappos but I don’t think I’ll ever use their service again.

Didn’t get to try these on. Zappos sent me a pair that was clearly worn - had previous owners footprints, etc. Returned immediately. Appears that Zappos no longer ships new products.

Color listed was ochre - picture looked like a tan. They are YELLOW! Not at all like the picture. Had to return them.

the footbed is not soft at all compared to the last pair...probable return. these Birks are not what the once were...disappointing.

I ordered a size 40 but was sent a size 43. Obviously too large and disappointed. This was the first for me from Zappos. However, Zappos’ customer service and returns are prompt and outstanding!

I bought the size I normally wear in Birkenstock’s and these for some reason ran way too big!! I’m so sad cause I was so excited for how cute they were and I have several different pairs/colors.

Overall rating is poor because your shipping has went from 2 days - 14 days. Very disappointed.

I ordered the narrow and these were not a narrow they were super wide and did not look like the color in the picture.

This is advertised as soft foodbed, but it is not. It's the regular footbed.

Birkenstock should do away with the narrow soft bed. If you're gonna wear Birks, wear the originals. No short cuts.

A complete wrong pair of shoes were mailed to us when we need the shoes badly because of foot issue.

I’m not new to Birkenstock - with that said I can tell you the quality is NOT the same!!! Huge disappointment - I’m not going to waste time nitpicking every detail. So if it’s quality you want - don’t look here anymore.

First pair I ordered was small. Zappos was kind and replaced the sandal with a larger size. After wearing it for a week, I had blisters and general discomfort. I read reviews and there is agreement that the sandal needs to be broken in. At the same time, I went on Birkenstock website and bought the same sandal. To my surprise, the sandal shipped directly from Birkenstock is of far greater quality, better materials, lighter and seems like a totally different product. At this point, I'm starting to wonder if the product that arrived from Zappos is counterfeit. I can't return the product as it's already worn but this will be my last Zappos purchase. I love the customer service but the product quality is questionable.

Ordered the same shoes for my daughter from Birkenstock - they were out of stock on my size. These are definitely NOT the same shoes - totally different color. Not sure what was sent because no box . Very disappointed and they are going right back.

Maybe it is just my feet, but can't wear these without getting a blister in the middle of my arch on one foot. Also, the interior of the leather strap is not finished and gives me a contact rash. Not impressed given the price.

This was my first go around with Birkenstocks. I am a size 8.5. I first tried on my sister’s size 39 and worried about my long toes bumping the front lip - so I ordered the 40. My fault, but they were much too large. I also found the leather straps to be terribly stiff and sharp on the edges, like it would take years to break them in. Happily, I found a slightly different Birkenstock that I LOVE - Arizona soft footbed Birko-Flor. The leather straps are much softer and don’t scratch or rub my feet. Ordered them in size 39 and they are perfect.
