Favorite sandals. Although, I think their sizing has gotten bigger. My old size 36 were smaller than these. Probably will go for a 35 next time.

LOVE Birks. Only thing that feels really good on my problem feet....bursitis, metatarsalgia, etc. These are really nice looking sandals that I can wear socks with in the winter if I need to!! Birks rock!

Love these! Runs big though, I normally wear 9 mens and I have Birkenstock Pro clogs for working in the commercial kitchens in EU42 but I ended up with a 40 in the sandals - still loose and comfy but my feet aren't sliding around when I walk like they were in the 41s I originally purchased.

Got these to wear after spinal fusion. They are great with jeans, shorts, whatever; very versatile.

Great product, very well made, long lasting simple materials. These sandals finally wore out after 4 years of nearly daily wear. Super comfortable, quirky style but it grows on you.

This is my first pair of Birkenstock sandals! The width is perfect. I love the color! It goes with everything! Looking forward to the natural support of this unique footbed.

I’ll get right to the point: These shoes are awesome but the sizing is way off. I wear a men’s 9 in almost every shoe excepts ASICS running shoes, 9 1/2. According to the fit guide I should wear a size 42. They were Huge! So I tried a 41 and thought it was good but my foot still didn’t seem to fit in the foot bed like it should. Needless to say I tried a 40 and it’s perfect. Your foot needs to sit in the heel cup and be against the back of the sandal. When your heel is back your toes should be near but not over the front. My best advice is that when you think it feels just okay, try a different size. When your foot sits properly in the foot bed and the sandal doesn’t shift or slide when you walk, that’s how they should fit! Once I found my size, I absolutely love these shoes and I would highly recommend the soft foot bed.

No break in needed. Put them on, wear, no worries. Comfortable right out of the box. Love Zappos they strive to make sure you are always satisfied. Best customer service anywhere!!!

Fit and size was great - exactly what I expected. With the soft footbed, the shoes are comfortable around the house and stylish enough to wear out. I would recommend as a comfy pair of sandals for the summer.

My husband's favorite pair of Birks!

I have been buying a new pair of Birkenstock's every other summer and this time decided to go with a dark leather. I had suede the last time. I always get the soft foot bed now. It's so much more comfortable than the original. I can wear these with most outfits in the summer.

I love to call and shop at Zappos. No waiting and the minute the call is answered, you have a nice, helpful, understandable polite person. It is a nice experience every time.

You can't go wrong with Birks!

I had my last pair of “Birks” for years and was reluctant to buy a new pair. Glad I did because these shoes are great. I wear them all day and my feet don’t get sore or tired.

My husband’s last new pair was the early 90’s, LOL, and those were not looking so great, so I surprised him with these. Within the first half hour, he put them on to run an errand, this from the guy who buys things and doesn’t use them for six months. This means the Birkenstocks are a definite WINNER! And thanks, Zappos for your speedy shipping!

Based on the reviews I read and my experience with other Birkenstock sandals, I ordered a size smaller than my normal size (which is a 10). For sandals like these, I don’t like to have too much space in front and toward the rear of my foot so the size I chose worked out, but you may consider ordering your normal size if you want the extra space. My foot also tends to be on the wider side, but I ordered the “narrow” and it worked out great. It does take some time to break these babies in, but once you do, prepare to be amazed. I’ll definitely get plenty of wear out these Arizonas for years to come. Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase!

I love birkenstocks! These are super comfortable and look great!

I wrote a review earlier so now not sure if this is a double! LOVE these! I had sent a pair back that appeared to be used...toe prints ...SO disappointed and did not even attempt to try on! BUT Zappos was AWESOME!!! Took care of it right away! Birkenstocks are perfect for plantar fasciitis and neuropathy as previously stated! Finally found a great style/shoe that I am able to wear without always being in so much pain!

Sizing has remained consistent for more than 20 years. Always wear a 41N in the Arizona.

I read the reviews and ordered the narrow in my regular Birkenstock size, so happy I did. I am never a narrow in any brand, my feet are medium wide. These fit perfectly in the narrow size. Very comfortable, and the blue color is very nice.
