Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)

Poor SupportGreat Support
I wanted to like them. I loved the color. I had the white/gray/estate blue. I always order a half size larger when I have ordered Brooks in the past. They had adequate cushion I usually wear Hoka. Not as cushioned as the Clifton but they were ok. They had zero arch support which is why I returned them. I have a flat foot and one reconstructed arch and I felt it had no midfoot support. I guess I will stick to my Hoka Clifton and Bondi until I can find something comparable.

Definitely more comfortable and soft on the feet than the last couple of Ghost shoes. Laces are more secure and I dont have to double knot them to keep them from coming untied. Highly recommend if youve enjoyed Ghost shoes in the past.

I loved the Ghost 12 & 13, but Brooks lost me with the 14 & 15. Now the Ghost 16 has me returning! Cushion is better and the footbed is slightly wider offering a more comfortable fit. I may grab a 2nd pair. Im not a runner, but very active and especially rely on my athletic shoes for travel, theme parks, etc. and these will be great for all of it. Love my Brooks!

The perfect walking shoe. This was my first pair of Brooks. I wear a 9 but sometimes red a 9.5 in tennis shoes. I ordered a 9 and they are perfect. Out of the box, I wasnt sure I loved them but after a few long walks, I can tell you these are the most comfortable shoes Ive ever owned. I love them and find myself reaching for them for daily wear.

Thank you, Brooks, for bringing back a lighter, more neutral version of this shoe!
I wear customized orthotics for overpronation and have relied on the Ghost for years, but I stopped when the 14 was released. Both the 14 and 15 provided too much support that left my feet pushing up and out of the shoe, which felt a lot heavier and clunkier than previous versions. I've not been able to find another shoe since, so I'm pleasantly surprised by the Ghost 16, which feels more like the 13 that I loved.
My only complaint about the more recent models overall is that the interior material at the heel comes apart much more quickly than it had with previous models, and I haven't made any sock changes. Hopefully the 16 will hold up a bit longer!

So far I have used this model in training for running on pavement and also for Hyrox competitions. I like the flexibility of the sole and that it has more grip compared to other models, which is perfect for what I do. As always, Brooks has a wider toe box which allows my toes to spread better in every step and makes them super comfortable.
I liked them so much that I have bought a second pair in a different colour.

I have been in Brooks Ghost for years now. I use them for work (I am a nurse), everyday and running. They were the only shoe I could wear when my feet started aching horribly after work shifts. The Ghost 16 I just bought are squeaky and have some kind of "kink??" in the middle of the sole. Although still comfortable I fear they are not made as well. Initially I changed out my inserts to ensure that was not the issue but the problem persist.

I have ran in the ghost for years now. Unfortunately, the ghost 16 already feels dead after just 2 weeks of running in them

I bought these sneakers for my mother's 69th birthday.
She complains that the toe box is cramped and uncomfortable compared to her similar-sized sketchers.

I have worn Brooks Ghosts for at least a decade. I have never had an issue with any of them and I love them dearly. When I bought the Ghost 16s, I noticed the fit was very different from previous Ghosts. There was extra material on the outside of the forefoot and too little on inside of the forefoot. My inner forefoot and arch were off the shoe. As I ran in them over time, I began to develop knee pain. This had never happened before. I commend Brooks for sending me a free pair of Adrenalines with more support than the Ghost 16, but they had the exact same issue. Brooks has done something to the shape of the last with these shoes. I then went back to my Ghost 15s and the knee pain went away. Please return to the old shape of shoe Brooks! I bought every pair of Ghost 15s that I could afford and am hoping the Ghost 17 returns to its old form.

Just got my extra wide 16s .. very comfortable. I work in healthcare so I am on my feet allll day and need great shoes. There is Lots of room in the toe box and my heel doesnt slip. Im a 6.5 but ordered a 7. Plenty of cushion. Very happy, but I must say Brooks make more color choices in extra wide. No reason at all that the selection is as limited as it is. Crazy. Had to remove a star for that.

They aren't as comfortable as my first pair of brooks ghosts, and seems each pair I've bought since then have been less comfortable and don't last as long.

Thank you for this opportunity to express my view and use of this shoe. I am not a runner; I have falling arches and Brooks were referred to me by my PT. I wear them every day with my orthotics. I love, love, love them for their width and sponginess. The only problem I have is the wide widths run out so quickly or some of the colors don't come in wide widths, even if the descriptions say it comes in different widths. Secondly, I like some of the colors that you have for men and not women, so it would be good if Brooks would show what a woman's size 8.5 is in a man's shoe. some of the men's colors. I want more of a variety of colors, not crazy designs, and more availability of wide widths. Thank Brooks for making my feet, ankles, and knees feel a lot better.

I've worn Brooks Ghost for 16 years and never had any issues. I recently purchased Ghost 16 (7.5) and had to exchange it for Ghost 15 as the Ghost 16 squeaked so loudly that everyone heard me coming while out walking or running. From day one, they cramped both feet while walking or running. The fit for the Ghost 16 is different from the previous Ghost 15. The sole material looks different and feels squishy. I gave it about 30 miles in the Ghost 16 to see if anything would change but it did not, therefore, I returned them. I'm waiting for my Ghost 15s to arrive today. My current shoe is a Ghost 15 and I love them but they're worn and ready for replacement.

Ive been wearing the Ghosts for several years now. Im a nurse, and the Ghosts allow me to complete a 12-plus hour shift without pain. Until the 16s, that is. They dont seem to have as much padding as the previous versions. Its a minimal change, but made a difference to me. Of course, if youre using your own orthotics, this wont matter. Ive returned them and bought a pair of the Ghost Max instead. As far as size goes, I wear a 7 in dress shoes and an 8 in running shoes. This holds true for Brooks. Every pair Ive ever bought has been comfortable right out of the box, no break-in needed.

Dear Brooks,
I like neutral, but have enough black and white. Please consider making Women's Ghost in coconut/chateau/forged iron and primer/gray/gray(or copper) Thank you!! (Ive got the 15 in Black/rose gold which I love so I'll write this review on them. I wear a size 6 so cannot buy the mens shoe.

I have wore Brooks Ghost for the past 8+ years and always bought them from a local store and never had any issues with fit. The pair I ordered from BrooksRunning.com, the left shoe has a weird fit around the heel and actually makes it painful to wear for any length of time. Unfortunately, I will be returning them

Why the odd looking gradient on the Ghost 16? Not a great looking shoe like past Ghost styles. Ill stick to the 15. Please dont fix what wasnt broken ;)

I purchased the 2E width, which is my usual size in Brooks, and it fits my orthotics . I'm not happy with them, although I am trying to like them. It makes me feel like I am walking on puffy pillows, and this makes me feel unsteady and wobbly at times, which is not a good feeling for an older woman. These shoes are probably best for running on the street, which I don't do. I would not purchase these again.
