I purchased the 2E width, which is my usual size in Brooks, and it fits my orthotics . I'm not happy with them, although I am trying to like them. It makes me feel like I am walking on puffy pillows, and this makes me feel unsteady and wobbly at times, which is not a good feeling for an older woman. These shoes are probably best for running on the street, which I don't do. I would not purchase these again.

Very disappointed :/ I am a marathon runner and have terrible foot issues until I found the Ghost Brooks and have worn them for over 5 years now. I just got my ghost 16 in and feel as if my toes are swimming in them due to the extra wide toe box and even gave me a blister which I have never had in these shoes since wearing them over 5 years. I am sad but will have to return these and have never ordered a "narrow" so that scares me as well so may have to find a new shoe.

The Ghost 16 is an improvement compared to the (Ghost 15). Great cushion as you walk and stand. Great support side to side. They do seem to have lost some length as my big toe is hitting the front of the toe box when it hasnt before. I wore a 9 before going to Brooks. Ive been buying a 9.5 since I switched to Brooks so that the width would fit since Ghost doesnt come in wide. That gave me plenty of room. Now the width fits but the length doesnt. Ive only had these a couple weeks. So we will see how they hold up. The Ghost 15s support broke down fast. So here is to hoping these last more like the 14.

Ghosts have been my shoe of choice for years, with the exception of one year the model messed with my feet. My 15s are great, but wearing out so I tried on the new 16s and they feel like a completely different shoe. Too much room in the forefront and too hard in the wrong places. I'm going to buy another pair of 15s to get me by, but I'm afraid I may need to look for a different shoe altogether once those aren't available.

Not my favorie Brooks shoes. The supprt is good but I've had better Brooks shoes.

I will start by saying I prefer the ghost 15 better than the 16. The 16 is a wider fit even though I did not order wides. Second the 16 sole is harder than the 15s. Overall just not as comfortable as the ghost 15 which is disappointing.

Love the Ghost 16 shoes for running! They are light on your feet with support and cushioning. I will continue to only purchase Brooks shoes for all of my long distance running.

They're great shoes overall and I've purchasd many pairs over the years; however, the 16 feels more narrow that previous versions, which requires more re-adjusting than usual. Hopefully next year's version will more spacious.

I love them! Was starting to have trouble with my feet but not since I purchased the Ghost 16

Compared to the Ghost 15, the 16s feel to me a little stiffer, and my heel slips despite various lacing strategies. I am a long time Ghost runner. I realize that not every shoe modification is ideal for every runner. This year was not a good one for me, so I'm going to have to return these and keep my fingers crossed for Ghost 17.

I was so incredibly excited to have a pair of these shoes. They looked great, so comfy and fit like a dream. That is until I walked in them. The toe box shape changed. My big toe was forced to bend at the joint so much I was in pain. They went back, I was refunded and Ive gone back to ghost 15. Hopefully they can keep everything about these shoes except the toe box shape moving forward.

Just got my new pair and I love them! I started buying Ghosts about two years ago when I needed something more supportive and better built to address my foot issues. I had both planter fasciitis and a flat arch in my left foot. The combination of needing arch support and needing a shoe that didn't come up TOO high and firm on the arch was a real challenge. So many other 'leading' brands for good support (and brands recommended for planter fasciitis) were not only uncomfortable, they were painful. My first pair of Ghost was exactly what I was looking for. I wear them for daily use and for exercise. I was looking to get a new pair and found the Ghost 16 was available for pre-order. They arrived before I expected them too (first nice surprise) and may be the most comfortable sneakers I've ever put on my foot. It's just the right support for what I need and all the cushion I didn't know I wanted.

So happy Brooks listened and fixed the toe box! I had to switch to a different brand for a while and I sure did miss my Ghosts! I was wishing for the last couple years that I had stocked up on the 13s and Im so happy with these 16s. Ive already bought 2 pairs!

So disappointed for many reasons: Thought it was great that Brooks finally offered the Ghost in a neutral color (not black or white) that could be worn for everyday, especially a color for spring and summer and that came in a wide. (I wear high quality running shoes for everyday. Seldom wear anything else.) That is what the 1 star is for. I ordered the 7.5 D like I always do. Oh, my! These are so very wide and much longer than any of my previous Ghost shoes! They looked terrible, even my husband said so. It has been since the Ghost 12 that the fit and look have worked for me. Now I do not know what to do!

I usually run in brooks glycerin but thought I would try the new ghosts. Love them. It just felt like my run was effortless & was faster. I think the glycerin may be cushier but not a problem. I also loved the red colour, just great

Im a nurse on my feet 12 hours a day and this new midsole support is fantastic! Notable difference from the Ghost 15. My feet are literally comfortable all day

The shoes felt really nice on with a good feeling to spring my feet forward. Sadly the heel was super short on my foot and got blisters within the first wear. I did return them but did like how they felt.

Ive had several foot surgeries and these are very comfortable for my feet

Plus size women, who struggles with plantar fasciitis is PAIN FREE thanks to these sneakers After months of pain, and trying various other companies sneakers, it was Brooks Ghost 16 that brought reprieve to my feet. Also I have the widest feet so offering the 2E is a game changer.

The Ghost 16 in general are great for the feet but a little tight in the toe box area. Way better and more comfy and have better cushion than the 15s that felt like you were walking on boards. The biggest ? I have does anyone at Brooks design team listen to their customers about the colors or see what sells out. The 16 really does not have any have any good colors. If you look at what youre selling black, off-white, and white not very many want those colors they are all blah and get dirty easily. Not many people run in white running shoes. The one pair of all blue is sold out and can barely be found on Amazon. Go back to fun bright colors green, pink, yellow, orange, purple something other than squeaky clean white and cream or off white. Also make some of the holiday shoes in the Ghosts. Listen to the Brooks fans.

I have yet to buy the 16s.but I had to post!! I cant wait to buy these black/pink in Extra Wide!! I just bought the 15s in extra wide a few weeks agoonly 2 colors available in EW are all black (which remind me of work uniform shoes - so hard pass) or the navy. I got the navy. They are soo comfortable, as I developed a Mortons neuroma and I now need the most widest sneaker available. Have been a Ghost fan for about 10 years. Please Brooks, come out with MORE girly extra wide ghosts like the pink/black ones here!! We dont want all black or all white, or boring masculine colors. We are not 80 years old. We deserve nice colors as well lol!! Cant wait to buy these soon
