I really wanted to love these shoes. It's so hard to find shoes that are wide enough and the Brooks extra wide sizing is great. However, the arch support just doesn't work for me. The arch is too far back. Also, there's a large drop from the arch to the ball of your foot, but almost no drop from the arch to your heel. After wearing them for just a short while, my heels were still hurting hours later.

I have been a long time Ghost user, with my most recent version being the 14's, which my feet loved! I was debating between the 15's and 16's but decided to give the 16's a try. Unfortunately they did not work for me. I did a couple long runs in them and they caused me to have bilateral midfoot pain and knee pain, which I have never dealt with before. I think the footbed is too soft and cushiony for my rigid feet. They are comfortable for standing and walking, but didn't work for me as running shoes. I ended up ordering the 15's and doing a few runs in them, and they felt much better on my feet. I decided to return these and keep the 15's.

I have worn Brooks for probably 20 years. The Ghost 14 were the BEST shoes ever. The 15s were a bit of a disappointment to me - not as springy and comfortable but I made do. I ran my first half marathon in them and crushed my goals. When the early reviews said the 16s were softer than the 15s, I was hopeful. I just got my 16s and I'm extremely disappointed. They are flat and hard. My feet ached just putting them on. The contour at the ankle has changed to a sharp V instead of a gentle curve and they rub on my ankle bones just walking. No way I'm running in these shoes. I'll be sending my 16s back, stocking up on 15s and hoping the 17s will be better...

This shoe helps with soar tired feet. Feels like walking on soft cushion. Great arch support. Best walking/running shoe on road.

I have purchased at least 8 pairs of brooks shoes. I have been satisfied with all of them! The last pair however, has something in the design of the bottom heel support has caused a a pain in my ankle and lower leg.

Im a runner and love my Brooks 16. I purchased the wide D because not only are my feet wide but I have bunions. The height and width are comfortable in the toe box and I hope they never stop making them this way. The cushioning is great with every stride. I just wish the soles would last longer.

I am a walker, not a runner, but I do walk a lot, and am very picky about my shoes (I am a physical therapist). I love my ghost 15s but do not like the color options so I ordered a pair of 16s in the same size. I like the grayish color with the pink and blue accents. They are very comfortable. They offer a ton of support and I am mostly happy with the fit. They also do not constantly come untied like the 15s! However, as others have said, the toebox is a little wider. After wearing them for a few weeks now I can say that it doesnt bother me. But it looked very obvious when I first tried them on. They also rub just the tiniest bit on the back compared to my 15s but this has not been a problem. Overall, I am happy with them but I think I still prefer the feel of the 15s. Brooks, please offer more neutral colors other than black or white for your ghost 15s and future styles! I like to have a grayish color with subtle accent colors, like blue.

Love these new Ghost's so much! They feel so light and I feel very supported with the extra cushioning! They are a step above the 15s! I will order another pair in prep for my marathon!

Super comfortable! It feels like walking on clouds!

The sole is a little hard.

I wear a 10 wide and ordered black gray swoosh it was like charcoal not black and the other pea coat wasnt a color as expected. Return both. In trying them both the toes werent as comfortable. For those with wide feet the selection is minimal. I returned both and found a spa blue 15 at REI. I will wait until more choices come.

I wear nothing but ghost shoes i have try many other brand but ghost are for me fits perfect, very soft and the shoes last a long time cant wait for the ghost 17 to come out

Im so disappointed. I had Ghost 10 that were fantastic to run it. I have flat feet they were more than comfortable. I used them until they fell apart, and I have been waiting since then for a pair like that, and I dont know whats wrong but I bought the 16 as soon as they were released, but they were so hard around the ankles I had to return them.

This will be the first pair of Brooks Ghost that I have ever returned and I have been wearing this style since Ghost 5. The fit was really uncomfortable across the top of my foot.

Very comfortable, but 5 months later, on the top of my toes, hurts! Like, they have an indention on the top of my toes, got another pair, same thing, idk?

I love the new upgrades of the wider toe box and increased cushion. Just bought another pair of ghost 16 and will be returning my ghost 15.

Does not fit as well as previous models. Laces are too thick to tie well. Loosen almost immediately. Narrow isnt really narrow. Used to love Glycerins. They let me down. Now Ghost has, too.

I love the colors but even more I love the fit. I've told many friends that these shoes are so comfortable that I could happily sleep in them.

I have worn Brooks for several years. They have always fit perfect and super supportive. This pair was super wide and flimsy in the heel box. I have always been a perfect fit and these just are not the same quality

Absolutely love the Ghost 15 so ordered the 16. Seems like the toe box is shorter as by the end of my work day my big toes are a little sore. Also the heel seems to be wider as shoes slips on my heels. Never had that problem with the 15.
