I was expecting a bit more cushioning but the ride is still comfortable! I do have to remember to wear longer socks or I'll get blisters on the back of my ankle but that's pretty minor. Overall a good shoe!

Very comfortable and nice looking, however they didn't hold up very well. I thought the cushioning flattened pretty quickly. I will get another pair though because they are the perfect fit just wish they lasted longer.

I have always purchased Brooks Ghost shoes and love them a lot. They really help with plantar fascitis. The reason for the 4 stars is that sometimes I will buy 3-4 pair at a time and find the fit to be just a tiny bit different with one or more of the shoes.

My first pair of Brooks, have been wearing Asics for yrs. The style is nice- not huge rubber base that makes them look like gunboats. The toe box is larger than expected- I double checked to make sure they were not wide width. The arch support is avg. They are very cushioned- so much so that with the wide toe box, they are a bit destabilizing. I have a 3/4 Spenco orthotic but the shoes are just not quite deep enough to accommodate it- makes heels slip slightly.

I like this shoes, they're not bad; but for me they're not as good as the adrenaline.

After reading several not so great reviews about the newest Ghost 17, I decided to purchase 16. This is my fourth pair of Ghosts. I've always worn an 8 wide (side note: more color options for wide sizes please!!!!), but this one feels just the tiniest bit too short on the right foot and rubs my toes, which I cannot abide. Maybe I got an off pair. Regardless, it is enough to make me uncomfortable while running. I will use it for walking and await a new improved Ghost in the next iteration. I hope Brooks listens to the critiques on version 17 and makes some changes.

Always excellent for walking and hiking but there is not enough cushioning inside.

These shoes are very comfortable. The only negative thing I have to say about this shoe is that the toe box feels shorter than the ghost 15. I should have exchanged them for a half size bigger.

I've worn Ghost for about 10 years, always just keep buying and buying same ones. Last year, I tried Hoka Rincon 3 and I have to say that I liked the extra cushion. My most recent pair of Brooks Ghost don't seem to have enough cushion like I remember. I am really feeling the ground unlike in the past. Might need to try another type of ghost...?

Shoes good and no heal. Comfortable as on feet all day. Wide width a plus so toes aren't squashed Would buy again if the hold up working on concrete floor 6 days a week

The Ghost 16 has a narrower tongue than the Ghost Max I purchased a year ago, which is less comfortable for me. I am not a runner; my podiatrist recommended Brooks for the arch support it offers.

I have tried 3 different Brooks model shoes. The Ghost is my favorite. They are comfortable and supportive for running.

I feel like the toe box is more narrow than my Ghost 15s. This is a bit disappointing to me since I loved my Ghost 15s so much.

I have to wear a neutral Ghost 16, 2N I have worn the 14 and 15 Ghost 2N and was very satisfied with the fit. However , with the Cost 16, 2N, the toe box is a little too wide and therefor not like the 14 and 15 Ghosts 2N. This is extremely disappointing because I wear a neutral 2N and selected Brooks because of the Ghost 2N and that is what my podiatrist recommended. I have read over many of the reviews and have found that several others have mentioned the Ghost 16,2N is not the narrow fit of Brooks previous shoes. People with narrow feet have a very limited selection of shoes so it is necessary to keep the neutral narrow 2N fit as in the 14 and 15's . Thank you for the opportunity for this review and I hope the design team will take this review on board as others are in the same situation.
I'd also recommend:
For the past few years Asics no longer carry a neutral 2A ( 2N) track shoes so I started to wear

After years of wearing Adrenaline I moved up to the ghost for more toe box room. I ordered my usual size 8 and also 8 1/2 for comparison. They defiantly run small and I moved up to an 8 1/2. When compared to my Adrenalines in size 8 they are the exact length. So far I have been happy that I made the move!

These are my first pair of brooks, I usually wear ultras. But I love the comfort and feel of these shoes. They have a cushion sole and it does not hurt my feet I do recommend to give them a try!

Very comfortable, roomy in toes area. Good cushioning, design and color also good. Reason for 4 stars, need more arch support like the Adrenaline.

I tried 3 different sizes of the Brooks Ghost 16. This is my first time trying this particular brand. The 7.5 Wide felt narrow in the toe area since the design of the shoe tapers in front rather than a square toe design. The 8.0 Wide still felt a little narrow in the toe area. The size 8 Extra Wide was very comfortable in the toe area; however it was too long in front. I had to return all three and decided to complete a “Notify Me” for the 7.5 Extra Wide.

Very comfortable shoe with good cushioning. I have a high arch, and it provides plenty of support. I like the large toe box. Laces stay tied without a double knot. I hope the treads last longer than my Hokas, if so these will be my new favorite running shoe.

I've developed bunions along with other structural foot issues. These shoes give the toe box I need.

My current go to running shoe for the tread or outside. I run 35+ mi a week and will keep these in the rotation. They are comfortable, light, and springy.
