I've worn Ghost shoes for many years and this version, 16, are the most comfortable out of all of them. They are supportive and feel great on my feet.

These are so comfortable! I've had horrible foot pain for months and although it isn't gone, these shoes have helped so much! Perfect for road running too!

A good shoe for me. I can only wear a narrow shoe so I count on the Brooks Ghost; it is truly a narrow fit and works well with my orthotics. The only problem I've found, which is characteristic of every pair of Ghosts I've purchased, is that the cushion wears out quickly. I have 2 pair; one for running only and the other for everyday wear. It's not related to my weight; my weight fluctuates between 110-115 pounds maximum. It's all wear related.

Fantastic improvements to my favorite daily trainer while maintaining what's great about Ghosts. These are so much lighter and faster than previous models, without sacrificing the arch support and neutral-gait comfort I need. 10/10. Well done, Brooks!

This is the best Ghost I have bought so far. I have worn many models of the Ghost and this one supports me well , but is also a little less stiff than the previous models. It is Very comfortable! The Ghost 15 was weird because it was slipping off my heel when I was walking. Ghost 14 was good but after hours my feet felt like the shoe was somewhat stiff.. I already bought 3 pairs because everytime I find a shoe that really works, I need to stock up. Afraid the next model won't be as good or have some other flaw.

I've been searching for the right running shoe for a while, and this seems to be the pair for me! I run a mile a few times a week on pavement and wanted something that wouldn't be too cushiony, slow me down, or potentially try to alter my form and wind up hurting me; I wanted a reactive but springy shoe, and the Ghost 16 is it. I can see myself wearing this pair with everyday outfits, too - not just my athletic wear. These shoes are cute, not bulky, and make me feel like an athlete! Thank you, Brooks! I'm grateful for this pair.

Okay I love Brooks & I can't ever say they're bad or anything, but these ones weren't the best for me personally. These ones run smaller I think; usually I always go half a size up but my toes pretty much touch the end. I also only got to run in them once, but the arch support is solid and I did have blisters in the middle of my foot. I did get the Ghost Max 2 as well and those ones fit way better!

I love the ghost and have been running in this shoe for over a decade. My last purchase though, I noticed the design is of the tongue is different from the version I have. The "new" tongue has sharp points whereas the old tongue on my previous shoe was more rounded. This resulted in getting a sore rubbed on my ankle from that point of the tongue when I wear low socks. If I wear higher socks, it's not such an issue. For now, I will just sew the tongue over so it doesn't rub on my ankle. Hopefully the next version I buy will be different. When I went to the running store, it looked like the 17's were the same way. Overall though, it has been an amazing shoe!

Like them a lot love the support but I think I need just a little more cushion. Long walks I'm noticing soreness on the balls of my feet.

I have wide feet and it seems like new shoes always hurt until I "broke them in". This was not the case the first time I purchased a pair of Brooks Ghost 16. Since that day I have bought them year after year. Unfortunately the last pair I bought hurt my right foot even though it is the same size I have always purchased. It seems a little too narrow even though they were wide D. I will have to return them and begin a new search to find a shoe that does not hurt my foot. Either my foot widened or something changed with the manufacturing of the shoe.

I like this shoe for walking and it was $50 less than stores

I used to wear this shoe in the past. Fit was good but felt it was bulkier in the sole and wider in the forefoot than past model.

I've been wearing Brooks Ghost for years and always recommend them (walker not runner). The 16 seems wider in the toe box than previous years; they squeak when I walk, still after wearing them a couple of months, never had this before.

Fit and comfort are excellent. However, since I use all the eyelets when lacing up, would like longer shoelaces.
