HOKA Arami has been my walking shoes for 10 years and I've owned several generations of this model in regular. The new model, Arami 7 is noticeably fit narrow even in the wide. I am so disappointed.

I've been running in the Arahis for probably 5+ years now and every time I would get a new pair it wouldn't require any breaking in. They would immediately feel comfortable and I could run for miles in brand new shoes with no issues. The second I put these 7s on I knew something was off. The sole was super stiff and made it feel like I was fighting against the shoe to move my foot through my stride. The upper is also super stiff and was jamming into my ankle bone. The only positive change to the 7s is the wide version is actually slightly wider than past wide models have been, and the width was quite comfortable for me. Unfortunately though these have been returned.

The Arahi 6 is my absolute favorite. I bought these because it was time for new ones, and the 6 appears to be discontinued. After running on the 7s for several weeks, I can confirm they are much less comfortable. The toe box feels more narrow, the material feels stiffer, and the color is rubbing completely off the soles. I am upset because I don't even know what to buy instead. I would be thrilled to HAVE THE 6's BACK PLEASE!

I wish they never changed this shoe! Ahari 6 was amazing but the 7 is so different. I have owned 4 pairs of Ahari 6 and this Ahari 7 hurt my feet 0.5 miles in for a 7 mile run. Narrow, stiff, cheaply made. Toe box is visibly smaller than prior model. Immediate return and will try Altra brand instead.

So sad because I had 3 pairs of the series 6 so thought I could just order again but the new series did not fit and hurt my feet. Very disappointed.

I was a little nervous about buying these after reading some of the reviews. Sadly, the negative reviews were true. I don't have exceptionally wide feet (I wear a normal width in everything but my running shoes) but I prefer the wide width for running. The wide size was extremely narrow, to the point it was compressing the side of my foot causing numbness, even just standing/walking around. I didn't even try running in them. Very disappointing and I am hoping next year the bring back the previous design. Happy with the return policy at least - that was painless.

Once the shoes were customized to my feet, they started making the bottom of my feet sore. This is not a recommended shoe for people in the healthcare profession.

I loved my Arahi 6 shoes. When my shoes started to go bad, I jumped on Hoka.com to order a new pair. To my surprise they now have the 7s. Reading the reviews I had some hesitations so I called my local store to get their opinion. They told me I should try them on because they're different. I tried them on at first and thought they were fine, I just had to go up a size. I have now completed 3 walks in them and I absolutely hate them. I bought them originally because they were the only shoe that made my plantar fasciitis "go away". Now, the 7s make my feet hurt more than I've ever experienced before. I am so disappointed. Finding a pair that felt good took months and now I have to start over. It's hard to stay brand loyal when companies like Hoka take their GREAT shoe and change it. I will say they are cute, but I always used to say the following about my Arahi 6s, "yeah they aren't cute, but my feet love me". Truly disappointed.

I've been wearing Arahis for many years. I have referred so many people to Hoka because of how the Arahis changed my mobility/lifestyle. They are the ONLY shoe that helps my feet. So when the Arahi 7 came out, I bought them in 3 colors. $400+ later and I realize that it is a completely different shoe than any Arahis that came before. I'm not sure if it's the insole or the width of the sole or what. I could feel it as soon as I tried them on, but I thought maybe it was all in my head. I have since been dealing with awful foot/leg/hip pain. I came to Hoka to say something and see that everyone else seems to be having the same issue. What is going on, Hoka??

I got the Arabi 7 thinking they would be like my Clifton 8 but they were not. They felt tight and ver uncomfortable on the heel.

These Arahi's fit completely differently from the previous models of them. I found the way that the heel hits to cause them to feel practically unwearable. Be sure to try these on if you are buying them based off of past Arahi experience. I am now on the hunt to find a new preferred stability shoe!

Ive had injury after injury that ive never had running in these, i wish i could return them but i kept giving them another shot. They arent even responsive, theyre just HARD. My gait always feels off, my feet kill, and i wasted my money.
Im currently doing ALL my runs road and trail in Stinsons. I wanted to love these but theyre honestly trash.

I have been a HOKA fan for a few years now and bought 3 pairs of the Arahi 6 and LOVED them sooo much. I am currently on my last pair. I was trying to find something new to replace them to not wear them out but these are sadly not even close. Not comfortable at all. I stuck with the Arahi line because of the look but sadly I'll have to move to another brand. BRING BACK THE ARAHI 6!!!

I had high hopes for this shoe and was so excited to receive it, but after two months of use, I noticed that my foot's plantar fascia started getting really sore. The toe box area is also really stiff. Overall, I am not happy and wish I would have gotten something else, now stuck with a shoe that hurts my foot!

I bought these Hoka Arahis 6 in mid November of 2023 for my wife who's a nurse and on her feet a lot. They were uncomfortable at first until they were properly broke in. Inside wear along the sides of the shoe were visible within 3 months. Within 5 months the outside of the shoes were deteriorating. This was not the quality I was assured when I bought them. Other shoes I have purchased lasted a lot longer than these. Very disappointed with this purchase since the quality did not match the price.

Got these in hopes of wearing them to a convention where I'm on my feet 10 hours a day and the second I tried them on I felt miserable. So uncomfortable and stiff. I'll need to get insoles with them. Very disappointed considering the price.

Very disappointed in my Hoka 7s. I've been a HOKA loyalist for years and years, long before HOKA was popular. Sad to say my long happy relationship with my fav running shoes is over. The Hoka 7 felt flat from the start, and more narrow than other models. I started having pain in my feet shortly after wearing them on few runs, and now I find myself with Plantar Fasciitis for the first time in my 48 years. I called customer service to let them know and see if I could get a discount on another pair for overpronation and they basically told me "too bad." I'm so disappointed, I love the previous HOKAS so much!

I have been wearing Arahi's since 2020 (Arahi 4 and 5's) and I got these to replace my 5's. The negative reviews are true, they are NOT THE SAME! I have a wide foot and over pronate significantly so have always loved the stability of the Arahi's. But even buying D width, they are so much more narrow than previous iterations. I have no idea why they would change something so fundamental to this shoe, but I am crushed. I've walked in nothing else but these for many years. And they literally are so narrow my feet ached just having them on and not walking. I'm actually crushed. Why why why.

I have a narrow/regular foot and these sneakers are far too narrow. Within two hours of wear, I take them off and the side of my foot is red and inflamed. Toe splay is important and I hope Hola takes this into consideration moving forward.

I love Ahari 6's. When I couldn't find that model, I tried the upgraded Ahari 7's. The 7's are a little longer and yet more snug. Also, the top fabric is more stiff, and actually hurt my feet where the shoe creased. Bring back the Ahari 6's! Sometimes progress is not better:

Hoka, why adjusted your shoes to narrow? Even your Wide shoes are narrow now (and I have regular sized feet). For over 15years, I have been a loyal Hoka fan. I supported Hoka One when the shoes were in its beginning stages hence shaped like a boat, super unattractive. I was your unofficial ambassador to my teen children (now adults), other family members plus to all my runner and healthcare friends. I am writing this review to alert you that I and multiple of my colleagues have been looking elsewhere for shoes that have comfortable, spacious fit like FORMER Hoka.

I'm an Arahi ride or die from my first introduction to the not so glamorous Arahi 3s and every version since those have been less cushy, but these take the cake for discomfort. I have a wide foot and they pinch and gave me blisters. Now I'm searching all over to get some 6s
