I hate to leave bad reviews and was hoping that the other negative reviews wouldn't apply but these shoes hurt my feet a lot. I love my old arahi 6s but I agree these feel totally different. Very stiff at first, which of course can be broken it, but it feels like there is no support when you walk in these. I felt better in my Reebok cross trainers and after 5 minutes incline walking my arches ached like crazy! Hoping Hoka can go back to original design for the 8s, I was super disappointed and am hoping the return will be accepted because I'm just going to wear my Reeboks here on out. Do not take the risk of hoping they will be good and buying! I would try a different design if you want to stay with Hokas.

I usually am on my feet at work for about 11 hours so I heard good things about these but they pinched the front sides of my feet. I do not have wide feet in fact the heel of my foot usually slips out of shoes. The rocker on the shoe was nice but overall a horrible experience to try.

Was looking to change from my Brooks Adrenaline and need a lot of support for overpronation. I wanted to like these, but they were so uncomfortable. The shoes dug into the top of my foot. Packaged up and returned and went back to my Brooks.

I had heard so much about Hoka shoes, but when they arrived I was disappointed. They were very hard, and the quality did not seem to be that good. I returned them and went back to my allbirds.

i got these for work. i stand 8 hrs all day. they are specific for flat, pronated feet. they are useless. my feet hurt within an hr. they are def not worth a penny. instead i am going back to the asics kayano. much better for standing all day and not as bulky and awkward as the hoka.

I've been wearing Arahi for yyyyeeearrrrsss and was really looking forward to getting a new pair, but when I tried them on, they squeezed my toes togetherway too narrow. I used to recommend Arahi to everyone who asked about my shoes, but now I don't think I can anymore. These shoes are just too tight. If they're changing the fit, they shouldn't have kept the same "Arahi" name. I'm disappointed.

I have been running in the Hoka Arahi shoes for the past 4.5 years. The 7s are completely different and very uncomfortable. Not only are they more narrow but the material feels off and plastic/stiff and digs into the sides of my feet. The tongue of the shoe is different now too which seemed to rub more. I always run in 7.5B regular width and tried that shoe on and it was way too tight and narrow. That led me to buy these shoes online 7.5 D wide width. These ended up being way too off. While the toe box was wider, the shoes were also longer and dug into the midpoint of my foot. The material was wrinkling on itself as well. I'm really hoping Hoka revisits these changes based on multiple bad reviews and goes back to the old design.

This shoe is not like the picture. Pink on the back heel and blue on the toe. Not all the same color. I have another pair in white that is true to its picture.

Honestly the latest line of Hokas feel like they are cutting corners as often as they can. They feel poorly and cheaply made

Color is beautiful but the fit is smaller than my Clifton 9 pair. I was disappointed but I guess styles vary in how the size fits.

Why so narrow in the toe box when I ordered a 10 wide ? Even tried them with thin socks ! So narrow ! Hoka.. you’re so good but you messed up on this model .
I'd also recommend:

I should have read the reviews. But didn't..and the shoe itself is made out of something hard. like a tough plastic like material. Toe box very tight and completely uncomfortable. I can't imagine wearing them, like some other reviews said they did and suffered. Epic fail.

I was very unhappy with this pair. I have purchased the exact same pair and size over the summer which are wonderful The new ones however are very tight on the ball of my feet. I thought perhaps I had to break them in but I can't manage to wear them more than an hour without pain. The consistency is sizing is awful.

I have been in every style of Arahi since they came out years ago. I have narrow feet and these shoes have been a game changer for me until the Arahi 7. 1st, I had to go up half a size which I have never done before with any other Arahi's and the fit is very different. Going up half a size makes the shoes wider for my feet & I ended up cutting out the tongue gusset because they were so difficult to get on and I hate the lacing!! Unless they go back to some of the features of the old Arahi's unfortunately these are my last pair!! I will have to go to another brand!!

Bought these on recommendation of other 12 hour shift workers. Did not make it through one 12 hour shift without regretting buying these. Not comfortable at all! It's a shame I am stuck with a $123 worthless purchase since they can't be returned.

I got these very excited but it is impossible to complete a full day walking. It rubbed in inner arch on my right foot so bad. I had to stop using it. So sad! I have never paid so much money for a pair of sneakers and it did not work.

I ordered Arahi 7s when my 3rd pair of Arahi 6s gave up the ghost, and they were incredibly narrow -- I have a narrow foot, but put them on and was immediately in pain. I was wearing thin running socks, but nothing helped. No way that I could wear them even for an hour in the house. I tried again the next day -- same result. I reluctantly exchanged the shoes for a wide and they're too big. I give up!

My previous style had been discontinued so I purchased the Hoka Arahi 7 2 months ago. I wear these shoes as general work shoes as a teacher. Mostly walking, I do not use these as my running shoes. I noticed a difference in fit but my main issues with this shoe are: 1. The insole had to be replaced within a month due to it "wrinkling" and causing discomfort 2. Inside heel padding has a hole (and I do not collapse the heel when putting it on) 3. Top inside part of the shoe has come apart on both shoes but one side is completely separated. 4. Tread is coming off. 2 months!

The laces in this shoe are horrible. The shoe is very narrow. I tried and tried to loosen the laces. Never have I failed to be able to loosen laces in any lace up shoes.

My first pair, size 8, which is a perfect fit in Brooks. Hoka's were to large. Gave them away. Second pair a 7.5 was to narrow. I always wear a medium width. I really wanted a pair of Hoka's. I'm giving up trying.

They are giving me heel pain. I’ve bought several versions of the Arahi before and loved them. The ankle of the shoe is lower than the other versions and doesn’t feel as stable.

The shoe is very narrow. It also does not have the same cushion feel to the bottom of the sneaker.

The next version of a model is expected to fit similar to prior releases. Hoka totally missed the boat on Ahari 7!

I loved the Arahi 6s and purchased two pairs, so naturally purchased the 7s. After 2-3 weeks of running in these, I developed intense ankle and foot pains that I hadn't before experienced. I ran in some old shoes for a few days and then tried these back on just around the house and had instant pain. I'm so bummed because I LOVED the arahi 6s but had to return the 7s.
