I have worn these shoes in the 6's and that were the most comfortable shoe. I got the new 7's and they are horrible. Narrow and hard like a rock. They kill my feet. I was so disappointed when I got my shoes.

This new iteration of the Arahi is a disappointment. It feels considerably stiffer. Much less comfortable, unwearable. Unfortunately all inventory of the perfect Arahi 6 women's in an 8.5 seems to be gone. Hopefully there will be a reverse correction in the 8s, as it seems that a lot of people are unhappy with this version. In the meantime, reverting to the Brooks, adrenaline.

Very sad that the 7 is a total redesign of the 6. They fit nothing alike. Moving on to another style.

I read the other negative reviews but decided to get the 7s a chance. I have run other marathons in the Ahari 6 and they were great. The 7s are awful. The toe box is so much more narrow and the heel is so unforgiving. I tried them for a day and knew immediately they were not going to work. Hoka continues to ruin a great shoe. First was the Rincon (the 4 is terrible), the Clifton was next (do not buy the 9) and now the Ahari. Stop trying to improve something that is already great!!

I wore only Arahi 6 for over a year. Bought 4 pairs. Bought the 7 and it is the orrible. The shoe is hard even after several wears. The upper is stiff and uncomfortable. The shoe pushed my foot out to the outer edge and gave me IT band syndrome. I just really miss the 6.

I've been buying Hokas for years. I decided to try the Arahi, after buying Bondis several times. I bought the Arahis two Months ago, and there's a hole in the toe. So disappointed.

I am so terribly disappointed you discontinued the Arahi 6. The wide shoe fit my crippled arthritic feet better than any other shoe on the market. The Arahi 7 wide are less wide than the Arahi 6 wide and they hurt my feet everywhere! I had no choice but to return Arahi 6..

This is the worst shoe I've tried on in at least a decade! SUPER narrow in a wide width and hard as a rock. I didn't even lace them up. I checked the box to see if I had been sent the wrong size, but nope! These are just really oddly sized and are super uncomfortable. If you have a narrow foot these are probably a good option for you.

Hoka, please bring back the Arahi 6s! The 7s are a very sorry excuse for a running shoe. I have a number of foot sensitivities that make it hard to find a shoe that does not cause foot pain. I found relief in the Arahi 6s. No more pain! I was at my most active. I wore them for 3 years. When I tried the 7s, I was in disbelief. As someone with very narrow feet, the toebox was incredibly cramped. The heel drop was aggressive. I ultimately have had to switch brands altogether, but have still not found a replacement that comes close to the 6s. Why change what worked so well? Please bring the 6s back or at the least, let customers place a special order for the 6s. I have debilitating foot pain and have little recourse going forward because of the 7s.

I bought these shoes a year ago and the heel material on both shoes is ripping and tearing. Because I am just over a year warranty, I can't return. I expect more from such an expensive shoe, this has never happened to much cheaper shoes.

I was wearing the Arahi 6. I have read the reviews and was hesitant to purchase the 7. But my search for another pair of Arahi 6 come up empty. So, I tried the 7's. The fit was ridiculous. Not only were they tight and stiff, there was no cushion. I read that if they fit smaller try the Wide. Nope, did not work. The wide was to big and to long. I am training for the NYC marathon and in panic mode and absolutely stressed. Because now I have to search for a new style of running shoes. I can't believe Hoka made such a bad redesign of the Arahi.

I bought this for my daughter cause she needed a pair of good shoes to work in. I bought these shoes and they are already trashed. I paid pretty good money for them...should of just bought a regular pair of tennis shoes such a Reebok or Nike.

There's nothing good about this shoe! I received the Ahari 6 as a gift in 2022. I was elated when I took my first walk in them. I finally found a shoe that actually had stability supporting my flat feet and pronation. I've bought a pair every 3 months since then and even purchase a pair of Bondis as a gift. That's how much confidence I had in the HOKA brand. When I went to place my last order, to my disappointment there was no Arahi 6. It's been my experience that whenever a shoe is undergoes a model change, the style is degraded and that's what has happened to the Arahi 7 This shoe gives me the same stability, cushion and flexibility as it's precedessor. The Arahi 6 made me feel like I was walking on air. Please bring back the Arahi 6.

Purchased the item in early March, ripped on both shoes in the back. Poor quality, requested a return for them to tell me I would get a credit for Hoka and not have the money returned back on my card. Why would I want to repurchase a brand that I had a horrible experience with the first 6 months of purchasing a product?

Thank goodness for Hoka's trial. Although they were very beautiful shoes they are very stiff. I bought them because they're a stability shoe and I have low arches with some over pronation. I tend to have somewhat of a hard heel strike. I decided to give these a try since they were best rated for flat feet. Walked a little over 10 miles on them and I couldn't bear it. I thought in the beginning maybe they just need to be broken in or something but nope, still the awful heel pain. I'm a nurse and this was awful to wear at work. I'll try a different model.

These are absolutely horrible! All I wear are Hokas, these are cheaply made, way to narrow., and just do not fit like Hoka's should. I wish I can return them. Unfortunately I have been away traveling so its been to long.

I absolutely loved my Hoka Arahi 6s. With my flat feet and tendency to overpronate, they were the only shoes I owned that offered both exceptional support and no painthey felt like walking on a cloud. Naturally, when it was time to replace them, I quickly bought the Arahi 7s. However, it was immediately clear that these new shoes were much narrower and very uncomfortable. I hoped they just needed some breaking in, but unfortunately, this was not the case and they have caused intense pain on the outer sides of my feet. It got so bad that I had to take them off and walk home barefoot. Additionally, I noticed a wrinkle in the fabric of the left shoe near the toe area which makes a loud clicking noise with every step. Now, I'm stuck with an expensive pair of shoes that I can't wear and will have to spend even more to find a suitable replacement. I'm incredibly disappointed, Hoka! Please bring back the Arahi 6!

I have a fairly narrow foot, and have been wearing the Arahi 6. It fits me very well, and is very comfortable. The time has come to purchase new sneakers, so I ordered the Arahi 7 (the only version now available). This new Arahi 7 is much narrower than the Arahi 6, even for my narrow feet. The padding has been reduced. The top of the shoe (the fabric) is no longer reinforced with the stronger nylon pattern - it just has the air holes, like most other sneakers. I feel that Hoka has greatly reduced both the comfort and quality construction of the Arahi shoe. Probably cost saving measures.

Hoka always changes the good things people love about their shoes! Clearly the reviews are telling. Most here have worn Arahis for years, buying multiple of each model. It's about time to look at a different brand, because I'm tired of such drastic variations each year.

I really wanted to like these shoes, but they don't live up to the hype as a good running shoe. They're tough on my feet, making it feel like I'm running barefoot on concrete. They might be fine for someone who just needs an occasional walking shoe, but not for serious runners.
