The toe box is great! But the rest of the shoe doesn't fit right. I keep trying Altras but haven't had luck--I love my Brooks GTS Adrenaline, but need a wider toe box for my bunions. My heels slip out of these I keep getting blisters and pronating despite the stability. Alas, not the brand for me!

Unfortunately Altra's shoes are now more narrow and don't have that nice, wide toe box that they used to have. I had to return these and will be looking at other brands instead.

Please change these back to the Provision 7 design! I've worn provisions for years and the new design hurts my feet, feels cheap and now has arch support? I won't buy these again unless design changes back

I wanted to love these shoes as much as my lone peaks but after 2 days of walking on the treadmill with them, my knee was in lots of pain. I had to go back to my Brooks Ghosts for walking.

I've had the provision 7 and LOVED them. Zero complaints. The provision 8 is different. Not as much cushion to me and overall feels like a completely different style. I'll stick with the provision 7s as long as I can find them.

This is not even close to the model 7. The toe box is much shorter and whatever they did to the footbed is not comfortable at all and leads to quick fatigue. I do not recommend the 8.

Bring back provision7 design the 8 is TERRIBLE. I've worn provisions for many years. The new "guide rail" feels like a wrongly placed arch support & add the old heel cushion back my heel slips out of these!

I have bought this shoe several times over the last few years and all was fine. Needed a new pair and received a pair with something wrong. Returned. Got a new pair and am having horrilbe arch pain.

I like the colors in this version but prefer the old version. This one has too much cushion, I might as well be in a hoka. The fit is different also. I wear an 8.5 in the old model but it was huge on me with this one. This shoe update is a miss. I will be returning it

No longer my go to shoe. It feels like I'm running on concrete, and after 25 miles, there's substantial wear on the tread. I'll be lucky to get 100-150 miles in the shoe.

Purchased product & when tried on for the first time, the shoe tongues were narrow. I could see my socks on each side. Ordered wide width, so that should not have happened. Sent back, but have heard nothing back yet.

Sadly my comments mirror those of others I read before I bought these shoes. A totally different shoe than prior version; very narrow in the toe area, heel slips out. Go back to the prior design!
