Road running. Great cushion. My only complaint is that the laces are way too short.

My go-to for fitness classes! The stability keeps my ankles from rolling during quick changes in direction (kickboxing, hip hop, etc) with enough support without being bulky. Zero drop for balance (TRX + weightlifting). Perfect!

I have been a runner for 20 years and the Provision 8 is the best running shoe I have ever put my foot in. Please keep these coming!

I am in a CNA in a hospital/skilled nursing facility setting. I am on my feet 12 to 16 hours a day, and I have plantar fasciitis. I have almost no pain at the end of my shifts! Love these shoes!

Tried all the new Altras and always regret leaving these at home. These are my tried and true over the years they still hold up and the style hasn't changed much.

These are my office and gym shoes. Comfortable from sun up to sun down. Kicking around the office and then hitting the treadmill. Absolutely love them. I have wide feet and these fit perfectly. Ordered my usual Altra size.

I adore the Altra Provision. I use these for both road and trail. I used to wear shoes with less cushioning, but as I hit my mid-40s, I found that I needed more support to prevent hip and knee issues. Combined with strength training, I no longer have any hip or knee issues. Hooray! I'll keep buying this shoe as long as you make it, Altra!

I always go up 1/2 a size when I purchase Altras. I have been using Altra running shoes for almost 4 years and have purchased different styles of them over the years. These are my new go tos. I rotate 2 pairs at a time. I love the zero drop (I feel more stable in them) and the wider toe box. I have a very narrow heal and I can get these tight enough, so no slipping. I run weekly, have run basically all distances up to a full marathon and this brand of shoes has been with me through them all.

I'm a daily runner and I love the provision 8. I highly recommend them. I love the fit of the toe box it could be a little wider but they fit perfect like the provision 6. I love the color to!

I have had older versions of the women's provision which were comfortable and stable shoes but did not wear well. This new version is just as comfortable and stable. The sole design seems improved so we'll see how well they wear. So far I'm loving them!

I've been using these as daily runners for distances 2-5 miles on the treadmill because it's winter and love them so far!

I have significant pronation on one foot. It helps support that, and leaves plenty of room for the lateral toes that usually get pushed together.

This is the only shoe my feet like. Give it a try.

I have a Morton's neuroma on one foot and flat feet. Orthopedics are no relief, but these Altras are! I am 67, very active with a new knee replacement. I just wish Altra made sandals and boots, too!

This shoe is great. I have had them for years and when I tried other brands I came right back.

Great comfortable shoe. Toe box is roomy, shoes are light and just awesome. Highly recommend.

I use these shoes a lot for physical therapy but I simply enjoy them all the time. So light and extremely comfortable, you can't go wrong with these shoes!!!

I saw the other comments about it being very different from the 7, but I have no complaints.

I just got my bunion corrected and these shoes are the only shoes I can wear! I purchased a couple different styles and this one is my favorite. I love that I can slip my foot right in. & I get so many compliments. But most importantly, my feet don't hurt at the end of the day

These are my road walking shoes and feel just right in every way. My custom orthotics work perfectly after I remove the insoles. Please make more colors available!

I love these! I'm a 20+ mile a week runner and these are the most perfect fit for my feet. I tried SO many other shoes including the Torin (made my feet fall asleep or blew out on me in little time) over the years. This one is by far my favorite road runner!
