I have many previous versions of Provision 7 but these colors are not great. And if you've changed the sizing that would be a real issue for many of us....we liked how they WERE.... get it??

I want to like these shoes but honestly I'm on the fence. I love the Provision 7. These however feel off and I can't quite put my finger on it. They are supposed to be zero heel drop but they feel like there is at least minimal heel drop instead, which is frustrating since I needed zero heel drop. They are also slightly narrower than the Provision 7. I'm forced to say if it's not broke don't fix it. I do like that the shoelaces are finally long enough. Please go back to the styling of the Provision 7.

I was skeptical of the 8 because local running stores stopped carrying the Provision and the reviews were awful. However after multiple tries with different shoes, I still love the Provision.

I've worn Provision for 7 ywars, been through so many updates. This last one is NOT IT. Went for a walk and my forefoot went to sleep! These are oddly similar to Brooks Adrenaline and I don't mean that as a compliment. Altra is literally changing my beloved foot shape shoe to be like every other shoe on the market. Now I have to find a new brand and I'm not happy about it.

It took me a few tries, but I finally found the right running shoe for me. I took the out on a 5 1/2 mi run and my feet didn't hurt afterwards. I use to wear Asics due to my overpronation problem, but they would cause blisters on my feet and they never had enough toe space. I am so glad that I came across Altra. This shoe had the right amount of toe space, cushion, and it's great for my overpronation problem. Best pair of running shoes I've found!

I don't know why they keep changing all their shoes into the same ones. LOVED the Provision 7, it's possibly my favorite pair of shoes ever. Still walking on clouds almost a year in but the new ones arent pretty and they lost all the things that make the Provision 7 awesome.

This is my 8th pair of Provision, and my second pair of Provision 8. I have always danced, and I need a wide high toe box because my toes need to move. I stand and walk all day, and with my Cadence insoles, this is the perfect shoe!

I am not a runner but I walk a lot. I also have bone on bone arthritis in my knees. These sneakers offer lots of cushion and support for my feet. I love them and highly recommend!

I changed to these from the Torins, due to the new Torin's heel collar. These have been great! I'm a mid-distance runner, and even tho I run neutral, the guidance in these shoes is still comfortable.

Running 5-10k races and training runs from the track to the roads. Comfort but supportive. Feel great on these ankles that have been sprained many times.

My wife really likes this shoe and wanted a second pair for her lunch walks at work. We purchased the same size and color as we did just over a year ago and it was literally a half size smaller. We returned them for a half size bigger and all is well. Shoe provides exceptional balance and comfort on paved surfaces. We do 3 to 5 mile walks on our bike trails with them. I have a men's provision 7. Great shoe. Sizing is off for women's and men's.

I'm still trying these out including the types of socks I wear with them.It feels like the toe box is wee bit too small. I certainly don't feel the room I did with a previous pair of trail running Altras I bought. I'll be testing these out on a half-marathon. Runs around my neighborhood didn't go well as I felt blisters forming between my toes. So that's why I'm trying different socks. But I love the open toe box design and I hope they keep improving on that.

I loved the 7 so i was hopeful after purchasing the 8 that they would be a step up from the previous one. Wasn't the case. The foot bed does not appear to be as wide and my heel slips. I liked the 7's. Fingers crossed they go back to the 7 or make some changes with 9.

Great walking shoes. Sad that they discontinued these. Have stocked up on a couple of pairs. Great stability shoe. Much better than the Paradigm.

I love this shoe, I walked all over Italy in this shoe, it is the best, please don't discontinue it. Most comfortable shoe I have ever owned.

I've been a solid Torin gal for at least 5 years, and have not wavered from that model largely because I had a specialist inform me that zero drop, heel stability and wide toe box are all excellent options for someone with mild pronation due to EDS or hypermobility in my joints, an an arch deforming only due to a bunion on one foot. That being said I ordered these largely because they were on sale and fit the prototype of what research told me would be comparable to what I needed; something to transition from work clinical rotations to light running etc. I was highly surprised at how much I loved the paradigm maybe more than torin! The rigidity and stability are great, the toe box whole slightly more square and narrow still is pretty wide, and no heel striking. My balance feels even better than before and I can't recommend this show enough if any of the above tracks for you too.

These are by far my favorite Altras (I have 4 styles). Great amount of toe room. Wide enough for a comfortable fit without feeling too loose. Will definitely get more of these.

I love these. After disappointing recent versions of Torin, I've realized that Provision is my tried and true. The 8s are super comfy for my distance road running. Lots of room in the toe box too. I just wish I could buy another pair but there are no more size 8.5

Love how the front of the foot bed is wider. Great for my neuromas! I also love the zero transition sole. I usually experience hip flexor pain when I switch sneakers but that didn't happen with the Altra's. Happy with my purchase!

I love everything about this shoe. I especially like the shoe laces! I can tighten them up enough to keep my heel snug without being uncomfortable.

Fantastic stability shoe for my daughter on training days. Zero drop but enough cushion for tempo runs. Seems to correct her tendency to over-pronate. Love the Altra products!

Love the color on these shoes and they are super comfortable! I have loved each pair of Altras I've bought, but this paid may be my favorite with the bright blue color. I feel like I could wear them all day and not have any issues. Their wide toe box really helps me not rub holes my sneakers like other brands.
