Everything about them makes them better than every other Altra I've ever owned

These have original soles, so they work well with my wide feet. I have gotten the widest shoe and the right side of my right foot wears through the side of most shoes. These feels like it will last a long time! Love them so far. Style, color, wide toe box, Zero Drop comfort and overall shoe are great! Going to the gym to test them out on the treadmill. I've attached a pic of my old wide shoes that show where the side of my right foot wore through. The Blue ones are my new shoes.

These feel better than the first version. I usually get around 500-600 miles across different brands so time will tell durability wise. The first 50 miles feel super nice though. I enjoy the 0 drop. As long as the durability is there I'll purchase again because the comfort has been improved as well as the overall feel. These are just a really nice pair of sneakers. I do wish the toe box was a bit bigger but they will "break in" a bit I think as the last pair did. I like an unusually wide toe box but these work, I was first convinced by a shoe store to give them a chance and it worked out.

Been with Altra since 2011 and this is one of their best intended function accomplishments.I tried on the first via olympus and it was just plain painful too my feet a hard flanged 360 degree ridge on top of the last that eliminated any comfort.Altra made the needed adjustments,no more hard ridge,good cushion[but not too squishy],basic but comfortable upper,roomy toebox,heel that fits just right.With my flat feet I could use a few more millimeters in the midfoot,but its not a problem compared to the first Via,Good job Altra,most people will love to step in this shoe.I would like bout 3 more millimeters in midfoot,nice room otherwise,and add some color to the giant white last,looks like a prototype.Good shoe for any activity

These help immensely while I walk across the shop floor that is completely concrete. I am also glad they have these in all black, one due to personal taste, but also good for work. Would love if they can continue to provide all black shoes in their other shoe lines in the near future. Love their Hiking shoes but don't want the more vibrant colors and I really dig the all black look.

I got these Altra Running US Men's Via Olympus 2 running shoes for free to give them a try, and for someone who runs casually, they offer the most comfortable running experience I have ever had. They offer exceptional comfort with cloud-like cushioning and a wide toe box, which is something my previous running shoes have always been lacking. The fit is true to size and supportive. They are not the most stylish shoes I have ever worn, but the comfort you get will make you forget about how they look. I will never go back to any of the previous brands of running shoes after experiencing a well-fitting shoe that actually has room for my toes to stay comfortable throughout a long run.

The sneakers look the same color as a pair that I already own, so I love the color. After wearing the sneaker for about 10 days I have to say that it is one of the most comfortable sneakers that I have ever worn. I am picky about my sneakers because medical issues have made it important to find a very good fitting sneaker. The Altra Men's Via Olympus 2 was a great pair of sneakers.

The way that the shoes are made in the bottom gives them what feels like a rocking motion that makes it much easier to run and like I am launching myself with every step. Because of that my ankles and feet have been felt great and haven't been hurting.

I love it! I've never had a shoe with so much cushion before, Whether it's running/exercising, standing on your feet all day working, or just day to day activities these shoes make the day a lot more comfortable.

I have wide feet and have a hard time finding running shoes to fit my feet. These by far have fit the best.

I received this pair of shoes free. They have the typical Altra quality and fit wider feet like mine. I wore them for over a week, including on a vacation with wet ground. Even though the shoes are fabric, my feet didn't get wet. They are almost so cushioned that they are lifts. My only complaint is that the heel is stiff.

These shoes definitely caught me off guard, I was not expecting them to be anywhere near as comfortable as they are! It feels as if I'm walking on clouds! These were definitely a huge upgrade from my Nikes that I would use to go running. Made such a big difference to switch over to these I feel as if they make running effortless

These Altra Via Olympus 2 are amazingly comfortable shoes. I didn't know how much I needed these shoes until I actually put them on my feet. The Altra Footshape is a vast contrast to many other running sneakers that I have worn for years, because this wide and roomy toe box allows my toes to have the room they need to spread and disperse. Another unique feature with this shoe is the zero toe drop which keeps my foot in a natural positions from heel to toe within the shoe. This takes some time to get used to because I feel its strengthening my Achilles and foot as a whole. Visually I noticed right out of the box the shoe size and cushioning. There is a lot of Altra EGO MAX midsole on this shoe that gives me a very high stack height, but when I'm running it all absorbs my body weight very well. The bounce it provides is fantastic and the shoes don't feel heavy. It's a maximum cushion sneaker and it feels great on my feet for walking and running needs. The style of the sneaker is modern and casual at the same time. Easy to wear this sneaker for many different scenarios. Looking forward to using these shoes for many more miles on my runs. In the runs I have completed so far, my legs feel less fatigued afterwards. The shoes truly absorb quite a bit of impact which helps to keep my joints happy.

An absolutely amazing pair of running shoes! The size of these shoes is spot on to other pairs I own and the comfort is absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend the Altra Via Olympus 2 to any running wether they are brand new or experienced. I typically run anywhere from 1-3 miles at a time and these shoes felt perfect throughout.

I have had the Men's Via Olympus 2 for a few weeks. When I first got them I had to get use to all the extra cishioning on the heel of the show. Once I got used to it I really like it. I normally have to wear a 4E width on other shoes, but these the toe box is just made for my feet. I never new of the Altra brand but, I am convinced that thses will be the only sneakers I will be wearing from now on. I also normally wear insoles for support, I haven't needed them at all. I walk and run between 5 to 10 miles a day. My feet feel great. I highly reccommend them. I did get these as part of a promotion but, I am being honest on how much I love them.

I do not know where to start with this review, but these shoes are amazing. They look big, but they are extremely light weight and very comfortable. There is so much support that makes it easy for people with flat feet to run and exercise comfortably without discomfort. The front of the shoe is wider than most other shoes and the extra room is great for me to move my toes around when needed. I would highly recommend this shoe for individuals with flat feet that like to run as it is light weight, but well-cushioned and durable. You can also wear them casually even if you are not exercising as they are breathable and stylish.

Wide toe box is perfect for my wife feet and I've found helps prevent accidental rolling. Very cushioned but still supportive - so much so that l'm actually wearing them all day since they arrived.

I got these shoes to replace my old Nike shoes for working out. They feel wonderful. I can telll the difference when it comes to support while running. I have flat feet so getting good support in a shoe is very important for me. If you have feet that need support and frequently run, these are an excellent option.

Hugely suprised with this shoe, TONS of cushioning, larger toe box for this wider runner. I was impressed immedietly on my first run, they are responsive and minimized impact. I highly recommend.

Excellent running shoe. I have purchased many brands over my 30 years of running and the Altra is absolutely the best. Great bounce and helped eliminate foot pain. I will never buy another brand.

Really hard to find shoes that fit wide feet and these shoes nailed it for comfort. It's early to tell how well but I'm confident that I will enjoy

Altra's are my feet's favorite shoes but I also would like to be able to wear them out when not exercising. I have sent my complaints to Altra in the past about their hideous color selections and schemes. I have feet issues so they are a must have for me so I'm forced to look like a dope. My friends have heard me brag on them for years and would like to try them but they say there's no way they're going to spend that much money on ugly shoes. It's really simple. Start with the color schemes of football teams especially college. Football fans love the colors of their favorite team. Or hire someone from Nike. Again, the best shoes but people also want to look good and I hope Altra begins to take that into consideration.

Pretty pumped about them. I have wide feet and these were great. I had to retire them at 300 miles, as they lost their cushion. The heel cup ripped up pretty bad around 150 miles which was a little disappointing. I also don't think the 0mm drop is for me. My legs never seemed to really adjust to it. I'm thinking about the FWD Via 2's for the 4mm drop instead for my next pair!

After a couple months and at least 150 miles, I have to say that this might be the best walking shoe I've ever worn. The seemingly heavy and clunky sole is just right for a walking gait, and the extra toe space is kind to my left big toe arthritis. I prefer this shoe to my previous favorite, the Newton Fusion 2; the Fusion is very comfy and is a good walker, but the Altra beats it. The Altra doesn't work for running (too sole-heavy for me) but that's not why I bought it. I would buy a half-size up.

Got over 500 miles on this pair and of course the shoe has worn down, but still is a comfortable shoe. The shoe has torn on the inside of both heels which I believe needs to be corrected. I will buy this shoe again. Don't stop producing, just maybe a little more work to this style. It always seems when I get a pair I really enjoy wearing while running or jogging for some reason the shoe will go obsecalete.
