too warm. disappointed.

Not sure what is going with New Balance the last year or two. I always wore a size 12 4E but the last 928 I bought I needed a 12 1/2 and the width a 6E and they were still too tight. They also didn't have a true SL2 Last because the toebox which was roomy in the 927 was suddenly too tight. The 928 v.2 is even worse. Figuring I needed a 12 1/2 now I ordered there in that size but they are a little loose in the back. I'm think of exchanging them for a 12 but if they're too tight I won't even be able to wear them, then I'll have to exchange them again. Very frustrating

I'm revising my earlier rating down to a 1 . Along with poor fit issues, and premature wear I noted before, this morning I noticed that the right heel padding is separating , creating discomfort and heel irritation issues. I've used the shoes less than three months and they are degrading. I'm very disappointed as New Balance used to be a reliable brand. Definitely not a good product. Do not waste your money.

I ordered the Fresh Foam X 840v1 Leather, but I received the Fresh Foam X 840F according to the box. The shoe is too small.

I have flat feet, so any bump in the arch is troublesome. I always buy New Balance products because the arch in the shoes always have been flat enough. For some reason, New Balance increased the bump in the arch on these shoes. So, I had to return them. It is too bad, because the shoes were otherwise very cushy.

The shoe width was misrepresented they were wide with that triple E as advertised.

Too short. Too narrow. Didn't work at all. Good looking shoe but sent it back.

these are labeled 11.5 but are the size of an 8.

I have had had prior 840s from Zappos . The 840s from Zappos just received from felt nothing like the prior ones. Arch support was not good. They have been returned.

Bought these in July and the bottom of the sole is tearing off already. They are very comfortable. But they didn't last 3 months!
