I like the fit and comfort, but the soles wore down very quickly. Usually my shoes (Ghost) last 3-5 months, but Ghost Max wore through in 1 month. Won't be buying Ghost Max again.

I wanted to wait to write a review to see how long these would last. These were my runners/walkers exclusively for 5 months. I used them about 4 days a week, 2-5 miles per day. I'm sad to say these are already worn out and now causing heel pain because they are too squishy and have lost support. I wish I could find a shoe that would last.

I bought these shoes for work; I'm on my feet nonstop for 8 to 12 hours at a time. Previously I've been wearing Brooks Adrenaline, which I love, but was drawn to these Ghost Max by the promise of extra cushioning. Unfortunately I did not share the experience of extra cushioning that so many reviews promised. For me, these shoes feel hard and painful, particularly at my arches. The longest I've managed to wear them has been three hours. They do fit very well and look wonderful, but so far are not providing comfort for long shifts as hoped.

I originally purchased these last month as nursing school shoes because I knew I would be on my feet a lot. While the comfort and support in them are great, my sole started coming unglued around the side and back on my left shoe about 3 weeks in wearing them 2x a week. I reached out to CS to see if anything could be done. Maybe exchange them for a new pair. They sent me out a new pairbut they are clearly used. Dirty bottoms and creased. Now I have one pair that is coming apart and another that is used. I'm a germ-a-phobe and wearing someone else's shoes that they've sweat in grosses me out. I wish I would have just returned the defective pair.

I have been buying Brooks running shoes for the last 10 years. I decided to try the Ghost Max and they were comfortable when I first got them. I walk 20 miles a week. After eight weeks, the soles were worn prematurely. Not happy with the durability of these shoes compared to all of the other Brooks running shoes I have used. With the soft sole and the tread wearing very thin, I ended up with plantar fasciitis.

Shoe is very stiff and hurts my feet. Doesn't feel like much cushion on my heels after 12 hour shifts. I should've stuck with glycerin.

For me, it was too much padding. I felt unbalanced and not stable.

My girlfriend love's this shoe. But she also is disappointed in this shoe... After about a month of daily use the sole on the right shoe has separated from the upper.

I've been wearing these for walking around my neighborhood for less than a year and have been disappointed in the durability of the top fabric. Unfortunately, the fabric has already torn on these shoes. This is probably due to the way I walk, but I'm disappointed the fabric wasn't more durable. A bummer because the shoes are otherwise comfortable!

They don't have enough support. I'm not sure about how they hold up yet. I was very disappointed in that fact my feet still hurt. For the cost and lack of support, I'm just not happy.

Not my favorite, not as comfortable as the Glycerin 20 or 21

Bad for the bone spur on my heel! I have owned more than a dozen pairs of Ghost 10-13 and one pair of Adrenaline GTS 22 - all make me completely forget about my bone spur as I walk 10 or more miles! The Ghost Max makes me painfully aware of my bone spur from the first to the last second I have these shoes on my feet. I expected better with the added cushioning, but no. So odd and so disappointing! (These are not cheap!)

The extra cushioning and low drop were great, but my arches and the back of my legs were in pain running/walking in these shoes. I switched to the Glycerin GTS 21 and have been very happy.

The look and color was great but I bought a 9, my usual running shoe size and they were enormous, in length and width. The toe box was very wide. I usually find my pinky toe gets squeezed in Brooks, but this was really too big all around. I had to return them..

Not comfortable at all. Sides go up to far and dig into ankle. No arch support. Will be returning.

I love Brooks and used to be a big fan of Ghosts on previous models but these last few versions have been way too firm for my liking. I thought the large base would make a difference but the shoes were still not comfortable to me. I will be sticking to the Glycerins, I find them to be like walking on air the instant you put them on.

They look great and feel nice on the heel but that’s about it. If you have a wider forefoot the toebox is too narrow and the midfoot has this odd bump on the outside around where the little toe ball sits. This puts a lot of pressure on the toe as you sink into the foam and just super uncomfortable. I don’t think sizing up or down would fix this and the wide doesn’t fit the rest of my foot well. Chalk it up to having what must be duck feet, but these shoes were a painful miss.

Very supportive but bulkier than other shoes of a similar type and seems to lose the fit on the top and sides of the foot quickly for the price point

I am not 100% sure yet they are a little tight around my instep. I am not sure if I am wearing the right shoe for my foot.

This shoes didn't fit right on my feet as I was having pain on my legs that radiates to my lower back. It was very uncomfortable so I had to return, unfortunately. I will stick to my ghost 14/15.

I wore them to work for six hours and I thought I was going to cry before I could get home and get them off they hurt so bad. I returned and got the Hyperion tempo and they're the best shoes I've ever bought
