Not as comfortable as the glycerin. Overpriced and under promised. Thick soles but not as shock absorbing as glycerin.

I liked the fit, but can't get used to the rocker type style verses the regular Ghost 15. therefor I want to return.

I love Brook Ghost. Unfortunately, this particular sneaker did not come in a 11 1/2 so I sized up and purchased the size 12. The 12 in the Ghost Max is too big, I will have to return. It has a wonderful feel and extremely comfortable. I felt like I was walking on clouds. Please create a size 11 1/2if it wasn't too big the rating would have been 5 stars.

Wanted to love the new Ghost max. They felt great when I tried them on and walking around. When running in them my knees were angry by mile two and really angry by mile 10. Had to return them. My running friend loves then though. Give them a shot! Going back to Glycerin.

I ordered a wide and it still seemed narrow. The Max was very comfortable and cushiony, but the forward roll seemed to make my balance off.

They don't feel much different than the Ghost 14 or 15 that I usually wear. They seem to be a bit heavier and a little more chunkier looking.

I love the way they feel on my feet. Only one thing I wish is that these come in c wide. Otherwise it is a great shoe.

I feel like I can do anything wearing them. They added bounce keeps me moving and they're so comfortable to walk in. I joked that I feel like I'm walking on a mattress; my partner joked back that it is because I am (they absolutely do look like it!) The one issue I have with them is that the interior fabric is scratchy. It feels pretty gross with my thinner socks. There is a seem on the inside near my big toe that keeps rubbing. It definitely feels like so much attention and care was put into other aspects of the shoe, that the interior construction was neglected.

I love these.. trying to make them work with thick socks and an insole - I normally wear a 6 in brooks but these are sized really big in my opinion if they made them in a 5 1/2 I would have exchange the 6 for a smaller size

I've been wearing Ghosts for years and wanted to just check these out. Narrow in the heel for sure and a bit in the toe box. What's up with all of these fat ankle squeezing tongues on running shoes now? Bottom line: a weird shoe to compete with Hoka, etc. Dear Brooks, please hire better designers for your shoe color combos. I buy men's shoes because at least the colors aren't hideous. I returned these and just ordered the same boring pair of ghost version blah blah. Someone

I didn't think the cushioning was as good as Ariel that I normally wear (at least 4 pairs). Also, not as much support for my needs. I am trying to return them but I do not have the order number.

I like the concept but it will be a fantastic shoe if it have the same cushion as the glycerin Soft but yet firm I used for two days and it flare up my plantar fasciitis so I stay using my glycerin 20 they are very cute and run TTS but they just not for me.

These W Ghost Max sneakers are super comfortable for daily, casual wear. The platform is comfortable enough for running errands, a casual work day or going to the park. I would not suggest them as running or training shoes because of the platform. The fit is true to size and they are super comfortable. The insole have a really nice support and cushion. The design is subtle and timeless. I really like the light pink color. I wouldn't change anything unless I wanted them to train. These look cute with a tennis skirt, a dress or with leggings.

I typically run 3-5 miles per day on streets and sidewalks. I do not like these shoes as much as the Adrenalines that I have had in the past for the following reasons: 1) The curved bottom feels unstable 2) When the roads are wet, even a little bit from a sprinkler, I don't feel that I have good traction 3) My lower legs seem tighter and more uncomfortable than they did with the Adrenalines 4) The first 5 or so times that I wore these I got blisters on my feet (especially inner arch) which I never did before.

The best way I can describe these shoes it like running with boxes on my feet.

I was super stoked when the Ghost Max came out because the standard Ghost did not have enough cushion for me. I have an average width foot and I weigh less than 150 lbs. After 1 year and only 161 miles on the shoes, the sole of the shoe has completely worn down. This was 1 of 6 pairs of shoes in my run rotation. I don't wear them outside of running. I am very disappointed with the life of these shoes.

Sorry but this I have to return. I wanted to give it a try but everytime I wear them, it gives me bilateral calf pain after. I work more than 12hrs a day and after I came from work, I have this bothersome pain on my calf muscles. Not comfy as I thought it was.

Too narrow and short. I have wore Brooks for at least 15 years. Over the past several years they have gotten shorter, narrower and not true to size. Sadly they are no longer my go to shoe!

They are very nice, but after 30 minutes of use my feet hurt so bad. I had to take them off. I can't wear for more than 30 minutes because my feet swell and the pain is intense that I opted not to use them at all. What a shame and waste of money.

These shoes were comfortable, but I rated them low because the role fell apart so quickly. It is very lightweight foam, and just scuffing the inside of the shoe again, your other foot caused it to break down, and the bottom of the shoe was almost completely worn away in a few areas in a very short time.

I have worn Brooks for years. I have Glycerin 11's that I've still hung onto for yard work days! Brooks just kept changing this model making it shorter and snugger over time such that the Glycerin 17's were the last version of that model that fit and felt comfortable to me so I switched to Ghosts which felt slightly less cushy but all around more comfortable and worked okay for me but again, Brooks insisted on radically changing a good thing over a couple years so, the last version of this model that was a decent fit were the Ghost 13's. I do not understand why Brooks insisted on making such radical changes to shoes that so many people loved. It was all very frustrating but I'm incredibly and foolishly brand loyal so I kept trying to make the Glycerins and Ghosts work to the point, I realize in hindsight, I developed some chronic metatarsal and plantar fascia pain as well as some Achilles tendinitis and even had a soleus muscle tear. The situation became untenable so I decided to try the Ghost Max thinking the rocker style and extra cushioning might help but, the size 7.5 which I've always worn in every Brooks running shoe I've ever owned, was enormous in the Ghost Max. Additionally, the overall fit was odd and sloppy. I never tried them out on a run or even a walk because honestly, I was afraid I'd end up with a sprained ankle on top of everything else. I'm so sad Brooks. Bring back shoes that fit and are comfortable long-term. For now, I've had to switch to another brand with a shoe that's very similar to what the older Glycerins fit and felt like and in just two weeks of wearing their shoe, my feet are beginning to heal. The Ghost Max definitely have cushion, almost too much cushion, and the colorways are really nice looking which is why I gave it 2 stars but they are just another big Brook's miss in this girl's opinion.

I heard that Brooks discontinued the Levitates and that the Ghost Max is the next best option. I never got to try the Levitate and these Ghost Max were on sale so I figured why not. Ghost Max are light on the feet and don't feel weird even with the higher stack. I have shoes from a different brand with the high stack and those make me wobbly and ungrounded. Brooks did a good job making these higher stack and stable. I have wider feet and the Medium width felt fine. It is a beautiful shoe. The offered colors are ok. Wish brooks did some funner hues. Apricot was as close to flash I could find. My runs start off fine but I noticed it did not take long for my to legs get achy. I never had heel pain before but developed a sharp sensation in my heel. I have the Brooks Glycerins in my running repertoire and based on my foray into Ghost, I will stay with the Glycerins. Brooks makes excellent shoes and maybe in future I would give the Ghost another chance.

It's a nice shoe, but it doesn't have enough arch support. I would have ordered my third pair of Caldera 6, but I couldn't get it in black anymore. I'm guessing you discontinued it? They provided excellent support for me. I bought these for work, so I needed black.

I buy Brooks because I have a bad back, bad knees, and high arches and they've always been great. These are very cushy, but have zero arch support. My knees started to hurt on the elliptical with these, which never happens. I love the look and wish I could keep them.
