The shoes are a perfect width yah. The are very comfortable when the first go in. They feel a little heavy the longer I wear them throughout the day. The last ability we will find out as time goes on as I walk an average of 8 to 10 miles a day.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)

The fit and look of these sneakers were very good. My only issue was the rapid wear of the soles. I felt like there should be more life in these shoes than what I had (~4 months) for the moderate amount of walking I do.

Great Shoes, I wanted to buy these as these were my first Brooks. Great shoe and feels more natural. I think it adds energy to the feet.

Ordering a pair strictly for gym, and originals for street wear. I have problems with the regular Ghost in the ball of foot area. So trying to see if support for this area helps. Crossing fingers.

Very cushioned shoe. Prefer my glycerin for running. Painful to my ankle stabilizers following run as they had to control all the motion from the cushion. These will be walking and work shoes.

Love it! I enjoy Brooks shoes but last year I won a pair of On CloudMonsters and had a hard time wearing anything else on my easy runs. The Brooks Ghost Max solved that problem! Love these shoes not only for running, but for walking as well! They're so lightweight and comfortable. My one issue is that the tongue on my left foot hits a bone on the top of my ankle, so I have to pull it a bit to the side.

Love the extra cushion when I'm on my feet longer but when doing side to side movement, foot tends to slide laterally. Huge toe box

These are exactly what I needed. I have run Ghosts for many years but lately the cushioning seems to wear out soon or maybe it's just me needing more cushioning. These are perfect, still the best of Ghost with that extra cushioning for the really long run.

I bought these after having 2 knee surgeries this year because I wanted something to help absorb the impact as I work my way back into running. They are very soft and supportive. However, I was surprised at the big difference in heel drop from all my other Brooks running shoes. It feels strange to get up over the ball of my foot so much more and I worry this might cause some issues the more I run in them. But so far, my knee recovery is coming along nicely and I think these shoes are helping.

I have clocked over 100 miles in these puppies and unlike my ghost 15s they have taken time to break in. As someone with wide feet who has struggled to find good running shoes I have been thankful for Brooks. I do have to say I prefer my previous pair more as these are, imho, and attempt to match Hoka (which I don't care for).

I stand 9 hours a day and love the cush and support in these, if you had more options in wide Id be buying multiple pairs ! Us gals with wide feet need more than just black and white. When I saw there were 2 new colors I jumped to the page to order but alas. No new colors in wides. Note that when first released the only wide that went OOS quickly was the 1 not plain black or white option. More colors in wide please.

These fit true to size and didn't require any break in out of the box. They are very comfortable. I have flat feet but had plenty of room. Before I put them on, I thought they felt quite heavy, but while running, you really couldn't notice the weight at all. My only critique would be that the cushion feels a bit firm still after several runs. I was hoping for a bit of a softer feel, but am overall still very happy with these.

Loved the wide toe box and superior forefoot cushioning of this shoe. Shoe was wide enough for my hard to fit foot w/ super high instep.Could wear M as opposed to my usual 2E width. It was very comfy right out of the box. Sadly, because of the rocker bottom, after wearing it for several days, I experienced unrelenting knee pain and had to return the shoe. Going back to my Dyad 2E width but wish the Dyad had cushioning similar to Ghost Max.

This is my daily work shoe and work out shoe. I had used the Glycerin GTS20 and these Ghost Max ones have better cushion. Love the cushion when running on treadmills and I found that super helpful when getting up after an hour of sitting ie inflamed Achilles' Tendon. Love this! Wish they made more colors. Will definitely purchase again if my shoe ever wears out

I have this in the navy blue. I wear 8 1/2 Wide, the only problem is they do not make the wide in the cool colors like the pink. Please think about making wide in more colors, Not fair to the rest of us who cannot wear a normal size shoe. So this is probably the only pair of Brooks I will buy.

It's a good cushiony and wide ride. (I have wide feet, so I love brooks because they don't pinch my toes). That being said, something about it though is making my left pinky toe ache after my run. Not from being compressed or rubbed against, but rather like a muscle strain, like it's shape or wide width is causing me to use tendons or muscles in the toe wonky. I have a feeling maybe the toe box is slightly more wide than what I'm used to and I'm using that pinky toe as a balance or having to use it as leverage to keep from sliding in the shoe too much. Not positive, but that's my current theory. I don't notice it until I stop running it's a sharp shooting pain that lasts for a few minutes and goes away. I don't get this from my adrenaline's or regular ghosts. I'll keep using them though as a sometimes shoe.

Love the cushion and the fact that it is available in a women's extra wide. One star off due to not quite enough stability as well as the lack of color selection in wide sizes.

I bought these for walking. I need maximum padding for my metatarsal joints. These are the best shoes I've found so far but I'd love even more padding. Perhaps Brooks could start a line of walking shoes.

I suffer from Morton's Neuroma and plantar fasciitis so was very excited about this shoe. Overall I like it but at times toe box still feels tight (even with a wide shoe) which does not help Morton's neuroma. I also wish you offered more colors in the wide, most people with Morton's neuroma need a wide shoe. I had to get the all black and my son asked me if my shoes were prescription because they look so orthopedic. Some color could help that!!

I am still in the "breaking in" period but I do like that the Wide seems to be wider around the toe area so my toes can lay flat and not feel "scrunched " up. The Ghost 15 wide does not seem to have that. So far I have been liking them.

I usually get the Ghost but decided to try the Ghost Max since I walk everyday and work on my feet 6hrs one day a week. While wearing the Max I didn't find much of a back to front motion and after a few days my legs and feet hurt a lot. Whatever the motion difference was it was too much for me. Having said all that, I also will say I love Brooks shoes. I am a forever customer. They are the most comfortable, supportive shoe I have ever worn. I am back in the Ghost and loving them!

I'm a physical therapist, and I've ran/power walked in both the Ghost and Glycerin. I love both. I have been power walking in the Ghost Max for about a month rotating it with the Ghost 15 and Glycerin 20. I love the cushioning it provides and it's a very comfortable shoe. However, I'm not sure it's the best for power walking since I no longer run. I feel like it forces my foot into pronation (heel strike then rapid foot slap down) and interferes with the kinematics of my gait. It 's not as problematic with easy walking and may be okay for runners. It seemss clunky, and I feel like my peroneals have to work harder. I cannot walk as fast compared to the Ghost and Glycerin due to the way it's constructed and made to move. I'm unsure if I'll keep it in my rotation or return it. It would be interesting to see how my muscles are responding in this shoe compared to the others because power walking isn't as effortless for me with the Ghost Max.
Additionally, I believe this should be it's "own" shoe and not in the Ghost line due to the drop. It's just a different type shoe altogether.
