I am still getting used to these. They seem to push me forward.

Love the feel of the shoe. The color is very odd. Sent it back.

Extremely cushioned and very light shoe - the entire bottom of the shoe adds about 1.5-2" to your height. The only reason I returned these is because I felt like my heel was sinking down lower than the rest of my foot when I walked in them. I tried these out as a possible shoe for work, where I'm on my feet for 6-8 straight hours a day, but the odd feeling of my heel being lower than the rest of my foot was uncomfortable for me. Maybe they work better as a running shoe, where your heel doesn't (usually) come into contact first with the ground the way it does when walking, but for me, these were not a good walking shoe.

The cushioning is great! I bought these to test out suitability for overseas walking on cobblestone. The only negative for high arched, narrow feet is the 8mm heel drop vs the 12mm drop on a Ghost 15. The 4 mm difference is felt, so I'd have to wear them for less time & alternate with a higher heel drop.

Very soft and comfy. For walking, around the cushion is ok but it works really well for running!

Great shoe that offers protection without feeling sluggish. Fairly supportive for a neutral shoe. Only downside is the laces aren't very good. They are round and not very elastic; a flat and stretchy lace would greatly improve the experience

My new work shoe, 12h shift.. wish it had just a tiny bit more arch support, all shoes seems to be made for flat feet these days.

I have 2 pair of the Ghost 15 for my treadmill and Jazzercise classes, so I thought I would try the Ghost Max as I wanted a good outside walking shoe. I like them but don' t love them. The sole takes some getting used to and I'm not there yet. I have metatarsil problems in one foot so I need a good supportive shoe that will fit my inserts. The Ghost fits the bill perfectly. FYI, I am 76 years old and still going strong. Thank you Brooks for such great shoes!

Feels great! No more ball of foot pain. My only concern is the tread is wearing down very quickly

I purchased these for walking my dogs (about 2 hours/day). I have knee and hip issues so I really appreciate the extra cushion. They have reduced my low back pain as well. I love the color. The only negative is that the color on the bottom of the shoe seems to be wearing down faster than it has on my older Brooks Ghost (not Max).

Excellent cushion! I have achilles issues and with my inserts these feel good except the toe box is really wide and leaves a lot of room and I have wide feet. I bought these in October women's size 8 M and am mostly satisfied but thinking about sizing down for my next pair.

I am still deciding about the Ghost Max. It's very reactive. I like the look of them. Still wearing my Ghost 15's more

Great and comfortable shoe. I wear everyday. Just disappointed that shoe wears out too quickly. Had first shoe 5 months and already need a new pair.

Love this shoe. Very comfortable for all day wear. I feel supported as well. Only down fall is the the color options for these are not the best.. I wish women's had some of the colors that the men styles have. Seems to be better options for them?

I am a Ghost girl regardless of the new style number. They always seem to stay consistent and work well. These were very different and took alittle bit of time getting used to the height change. They feel like walking on marshmallows. I haven't yet ran in these for long runs. I have spend hours on my feet walking & in a dance classes They are comfortable once you get used to the height. I have noticed the toe fabric area on 1 foot is fraying already and I haven't had them long, maybe 2 months. I have never had that be an issue with the regular Ghost. I also got the only color Finish Line had since i wanted them for dance class, and didn't want to wait for shipping, it's the light peach color and I definitely dislike the color. They look old and they aren't. They look really dirty very quickly, even when it was indoor use. I wanted them to be my new go to but I need to clean them they look rough so don't get the light peach color and I'm wondering how that small toe fray will hold up.

I honestly love them and how comfy they are - I wear them constantly while going on walks or attending my Orange Theory classes. However, not too far into purchasing them did this rubber strap become loose! I'm so bummed because I love them so much. See pic for reference

I really wanted to love these because I have friends who raved about them. I have been a loyal Brooks fan and the Ghost line has always been my go-to versatile shoe for running both tempo and long endurance runs and 1/2 marathons. I felt like the Ghost 15 lost some of the cushioning from the 12 so I thought the Max would be a good fit. When I laced them up, they feel amazing but when I ran more than 6 miles, my ankles started to hurt and I was having pain on the top of my feet. I tried loosening the laces but then the shoe felt too loose on my foot. I have relatively flat feet so maybe the arch with cushioning caused the issue?? Sadly I returned. These shoes would be perfect for someone who works on their feet all day because they are very comfortable and supportive.

Very nice! But for me, I felt they ran big. I wear 6.5-7 in Adrenaline and Ghost and I???ve have prob 8 pairs at least, so I ordered the 7 and they were just too big. They felt too roomy in the toe area and overall not snug. Too much shoe??? returned. Maybe a smaller size next time.

This shoe is well cushioned and comfortable. I???ve been wearing it for training runs. Not sure if I???ll race in them because the cushioning makes the shoe a little heavier than what I???m accustomed to wearing on race day.

I love how light these shoes are and the amount of cushion in the sole feels like running on clouds. They have a very thick sole which I???m not used it, it also seems somewhat slippery. I love the color and comfort. I don???t think I would purchase these particular ghosts again because I feel they???re too thick on the bottom

Pretty comfortable ref in them could use a bit more cushion but comparable to hoka

I think they felt just like my ghost 15. Kind of disappointed.

Super comfortable! Love the colors and fit! Can wear them all day without any discomfort.

I like them It will take a little more time before they are my everyday because of the height of the sneaker
