There are tiny bits of red thread throughout the sweater that make it look like it is covered in red lint. very unappealing.

The teal sweater was covered in ugly tan nibs. These tan nibs were barely visible at the highest magnification in the online photo, but were very noticeable on the sweater. I can no longer trust the LL Bean's online photos, so I will be very hesitant about ordering online from LL Bean again. The sweater is getting returned ASAP.

Don't expect solid green loden sweater. ZOOM in please. Hideous speckles that I thought was somehow a factory reject. Nope. I zoomed in and ugh. Not even taking out of the bag. Returning immediately.

Had to return it. It is too rough material for a sweater. Poor quality.

This sweater appears to have lint balls all over it and you can even pick them off of the sweater. However, I called customer service and they assured me that is the way it is suppose to look. I would have suspicions it had been dried with a new towel there is nothing polished looking about this sweater.

Big disapointment! When i opened it i thought it had fallen on floor and picked up a bunch of lint. Looked dirty. Used tape to try and clean. Then realized they are supposed to be there. Returned at store. I love LL Bean and have bought hundreds of things. This was my first return. The pic and description did not reveal the actual pic.

The fit was perfect.The texture of the sweater is very soft.

The "Mountain Red" is not a solid red. It has flecks of white and even blue in it! This doesn't show in the catalog, but if you zoom in on it online, you can clearly see it.

Be careful - red sweater is not solid red - it has flecks of other colors.

As others have noted, the white and green flecks are really bothersome. I am using a tweezer to pull them out one by one, a huge task. I don't understand this. The barley color is exactly what my husband wanted but the mysterious flecks ruin the appearance. We did not think it was so bad at first but after just one wearing it was really conspicuous and strange. NOT recommended!

This sweater was covered with bits of colored bits woven into the yarn. I returned the sweater and the replacement contained the same scattering of off-color bits. I returned the second sweater.

Great sweater. Fits in all the right places. A bit pricey.....

Strange that this sweater which is supposed to be gray has white specs all over it. I paid for next day air and LLBean would not refund the shipping.
