Comfortable even in warmer climate. Winters not so cold in SC, but can wear this comfortably with just a teeshirt under. Sizing was correct.

The customer service is amazing! The sweater I purchased fits perfectly I wear a long size and Im extremely happy with it. I lost my coupon and when I called to ask for another one they helped me through the process and gave me another coupon and made the order for me so I didn't have to mess with it. I will purchase from LL Bean again soon :)

Quality through and through. The color is perfect creamy off white.

The sweater is very comfortable and has a high end feel. I'm knocking off a star for several reasons. I bought the burnt orange color. The pictured version must be from a previous year. This years version is pokadoted with random yellow and purple threads. It also fits a little smaller than pretty much any other 2xl I own.

Love the fit and texture. The only thing i didn't like was there is red mixed in the fabric somehow.

This is a very nice sweater! It's not often you can find navy blue that is actually navy, this sweater is. The large fits my husband well, roomy enough but not too long or wide. It will be enjoyed, and it appears well made enough to last for years which you don't find in clothing that often anymore.

Fit was ok. I just wish I would have gotten another color.

Donegal Ticking Looks Like Lint. Otherwise the sweater is well made, attractive, and comfortable.

Beautiful sweater. A bit too warm for transition periods. Well made. A bit snug in the midsection for traditional fit. Some of us need plenty of room in that area!

The color and knit style look great, and the sleeve and overall length were great for my long torso. However, I consistently wear and fit into XXL Tall in all fits from L.L. Bean, however the chest on this sweater fit slimmer than the typical "Traditional" fit from L.L. Bean so I had to return it. Bottom line, if you prefer a little room in your chest, I suggest sizing up in this sweater.

Very warm and comfortable. However, I found I am not that pleased with the little white dots that is part of the material. Looks like dandruff.

Excellent fit, looks and comfort. It has a tendency to attract lint, however.

I purchased two sweaters. They are warm and beautifully made. However, the Fisherman's sweater was covered with hundreds of small yellow pieces of yarn, almost like yarn dust that was incorporated in the sweater. I called customer service and they immediately offered to return it. That was very hospitable; however, I liked the sweater the turned to a lint roller and a pair of tweezers to rehabilitate it. 5.5 hours later after removing a pile of yellow lint/yarn, the sweater exhibited hardly any evidence of its previous condition. Yes, I like the sweater (I'm really bonded to it now) and will continue to purchase LL Bean products. The other sweater was perfect, no concerns. The original sweater provider must have experienced a problem during manufacture with lint management. This is always problematic in the clothing business. If you like this sweater, you might inquire as to its disposition before purchase.

Very high quality sweater and color is great but fit slightly bigger than the measurement suggestions in the fit guide. Will exchange for one size down and mindful of this on future orders.

This is a beautiful sweater. Purchsed the green color. Mid to heavy weight and a bit more fitted then previous fisherman sweaters I have purchased from LLBean. Thank goodness LLBean still caries Tall. There are small flecks of different colors in it but they are not extremely noticeable. A bit disappointed that the color was not as vibrant as the color in the catelog - loss of one star. Would love to see more vibrant colors that the younger men in my family prefer. Why no red sweaters at Christmas?

In the catalog, it appeared as if it was plain green. However, when it arrived, the sweater was flecked with multi-colored yarns that simply made the sweater look as if it were covered in lint. Returned it because of this.
