I am sad. Every few years I order one of these and they used to be fabulous. This year I ordered a robe, and wow THE FLEECE IS SO THIN and it isn't as warm as in years past. Don't waste your money. LLBean has changes, no longer is the customer the focus, they've cut quality for a buck, and it's just sad.

The fabric is too bulky. I felt like a stuffed toy!

I am disappointed that this robe is not the same fabric as my old Bean robe. The fleece is thinner, not as warm, and it is fuzzy. I thought I was buying one that would replace the one I had with the same product.

Disappointing. Fabric is substantially thinner than previous version, feels flimsy and thus lacks warmth. Length is perfect and goes to the ankles which is great for those of us who do not wear long pj trousers to bed. Just (barely) enough stretchy fabric to cover legs when sitting down (which is a difficult feature to find in similar products elsewhere). A "Wirecutter" review mentioned you could wear this to the mailbox in the winter. Maybe true if you live in Florida, but definitely not in the northeast.

I am replacing the same robe purchased several years ago and found that this robe is 3" shorter than the old one. Nice robe if you are a shorter size person. I am 5'6", not extraordinarily tall. Maybe you could offer a "Tall size" version?

This robe is very warm; however, the fleece quality is not good, feels rough instead of soft, and appears to be old after wearing for a short time.

Not a cozy or plush robe; just a plain robe with thin fabric. LL Bean cut corners and contract for cheaper fabric. Very disappointed. The length is the only good part. I'm not able to return it.

I waited 2 months for this robe due to supply issues. It was meant to replace an older version so I expected something similar. The fleece is thin and feels cheap. The quality is not what I expect from LL Bean. I can't return it as it was a gift from my daughter and I don't want to hurt her feelings. I was truly disappointed as I need a new robe. It does the job but it is not cozy or plush.

I ignored the reviews that said this great robe did not measure up to its old gold standard and bought it anyway. I was dismayed to find that the negative reviews were reliable. This robe would never last for 15 years as my old one did. It feels like felt. The monogram is stuck on at a slant and is embroidered on a scratchy piece of fabric that is somehow applied to the robe. The printing isn't straight, and there was a white smudge over the capital letter. Even the tie for this robe is chintzy. I was so looking forward to my new LLBean Fleece Robe and I'm still looking, because this doesn't make it. Can you return a monogrammed item? Looks like I'm going to find out.

I had purchased "this robe" from LL Bean about 7 years ago for $187 the fabric was much thicker, softer, heavier. I would return the new robe - but I can't find anything similar to my older robe. I'm hoping that washing the new robe might change the the feel of the material.

This is a very pretty blue bathrobe and feels cozy. This is my 3rd bathrobe in 20 years and I am so very disappointed by the shorter length. The length was the feature that distinguished this robe from others on the market and the reason I bought it. I am very unhappy with this change and will return it.

I purchased a new Winter Fleece Wrap Robe to replace my old one that I had for over 10 years. There was nothing wrong with my old robe-I was just needing a change and so gave the old robe to charity. I am so disappointed in the new robe. The fit and color are fine. I ordered a Regular Large. I wear a 16 in tops and I'm 5'3.5". I noticed the robe looked short on the model and ordered the regular because I like my robes as long as possible. This comes to my lower calf but above my ankle. The robe appears to be well sewn. Unfortunately, the fabric is like the cheap fleece you might find at a discount store that doesn't specialize in clothing. The fabric is not luxurious or soft. In fact it gave me goosebumps when I first touched it. It looks like it will pill. In hopes the fabric would improve in texture, I washed the robe and air dried. The texture is only slightly better--less stiff. I guess I assumed the robe would be made from Polartec fleece. I will probably return it if I can find a robe with a more luxurious feeling (and hopefully lighter weight) fleece. I don't mind paying this price for a quality product. This is not it. Very disappointed LLBean.

I bought this same robe in red two years ago. I liked it so much that I just ordered another one in navy. I ordered the same size, petite medium. The sleeves were much too short and the length was over 3 inches shorter than the old robe. I'm 5'2" and the robe hit just below mid calf. I had to return it. What a disappointment.

Very thin. Not good for winter. At best a light weight summer robe. Sent it back. Not the same quality as the same one bought a couple years ago (but a higher price). Found a better one at Vermont Country Store.

I had to cancel it because it was delivered to the wrong house.

I ordered and paid for the robe and a day later I got an email saying sorry we are out those. Not very good inventory tracking.

Hole in one pocket and not even had it for a month.

I received a robe as a gift a couple years ago from LLB. I love it. My wife often steals it to wear herself. I order her one this year and WOW how the quality has dropped. This is super thin and very low quality. ANyone giving this a good review must not have compared to other brands or LLB from years past. I was immediately concerned when I realized how light it was and when I opened the bag I was massively disappointed. I didn't even take it out. It's going right back in the box and getting returned (of course they'll charge me a fee to return it). I'm still going to buy her a robe but it won't be from LL Bean again.

This was not a petite. Not even close. I've never had a piece of clothing that was so large. The length was touching the floor and the sleeves were extended far below my finger tips. The tag read PL but it was not. My first purchase from LL Bean but there will not be another!

Fabric is substandard for LL Bean product. The cut is too narrow in lower part of robe. Very disappointing for the price.

Not like the other one I have had for several years. Needed to size up so I purchased new one. Large that Ijust purchased is same as the medium I already have. Fleece is much thinner too. Cant return because I already washed it.

LL Bean clothing isn't nearly as good as it used to be. This robe is just another example of less quality clothing. The material wasn't plush, but thin. I expected more from LL Bean. I nearly tripped going up the stairs as the material clung between my legs.

My LLB fleece bathrobe needed to be replaced due to wear and I order this year's fleece robe. I will be returning it. The fleece is not all like the fleece of my former bathrobe. This fleece feels cheap, thin and will not be as warm. Please bring back your old fleece robes. I usually wear a 12 and the medium did fit well.

Ugly and scratchy fleece robe. Nasty color. Don't waste your money.
