Nice color, good sizing. Ordered two child size fleece robes at the same time. They were much nicer fleece! Made the adult robe look like a return that had been washed - lighter weight and roughed up nap. Would have liked it much better if the fleece had been comparable to the child size robes.

After many years of wear, it was time to replace my old LLBean Fleece robe. The new one is a gorgeous color, but the fabric itself is not nearly as nice as the original robe. It gives the robe a cheesy look, though it does still keep me warm, so I won't return it. But it's disappointing that the replacement is less wonderful than the original.

Disappointed in the quality of the fleece. Looks like it will pill but of course I haven't washed it yet. Had Bean Bucks I needed to use or probably wouldn't keep it. I am normally a small to medium size but had to return the small for an EXTRA small which I have not received yet. Sleeves were very long and very full. This is not a robe you want to wear into the kitchen for a snack due to the sloppiness of the sleeves...you'll wipe out half of whatever is on the counter.

Beautiful, warm, right length - perfect for curling up in.Love the feel of the fabric. But it is SO bulky felt enormous in it and makes it uncomfortable. It also has a lot of static electricity. Unfortunately I must return it.

I read the reviews and I was looking forward to receiving the robe but unfortunately, I did return it due to the fact that it wasn't soft and cuddly!

I've been looking for a wrap robe for a couple years. I'm 5'9" and 148 lbs. and all robes searched online provide length of 50", 51", or mid calf. I wanted 'tall' to cover my ankles. LL Bean's online description said "length to ankles", but "length to ankles" isn't a true statement for taller people in which shorter people are buying the same robe. I called LL Bean to speak to customer service. Customer Service was very polite and super friendly. Customer service said the length was 53", so I ordered it. It arrived yesterday and the robe does measure 53" L. It falls to my lower calf but above my ankles which is better than most robes. I would have preferred a 55" length and may try one from another online site catering to talls. The fleece fabric on this robe is soft but does have a polyester feel, so IMO it's just okay. It is warm, but not sure how it will breath in winter. I'll probably keep this one but continue to look for a tall with a nicer fabric. Stitching is high quality. I hope it washes and drys well. BTW - I would have ordered slippers at the same time, but there was very little to select from (July is probably not the best time). Overall pleased.

I would have given 5 stars, however monogram is poorly sewn on. There is a lot of excess backing and it does not dissolve upon washing as stated. Monogram on duffle bag (very good ) no backing

I ordered the gray robe in Petite XS, I'm 100 lbs, 5'1". The color was beautiful, but the robe was ridiculously huge. I looked lost in it and had to return. The length was fine for a petite but the overall circumference and sleeve length were way off. A shame, I thought the heft of the fleece was great for winter and loved the gray.

At least five women in my family have bought this robe over the years, but all are disappointed that quality has chsnged. Although it is still advertised as "exceptionally plush" and that it falls just above ankle for regular (not petite) size, that is no longer the case. The length and weight used to be PERFECT. It is now much thinner and the length even in "regular" is much higher now, so not as warm. I had to return and will not buy the new style. So disappointed that it has changed.

I've been searching for a long winter robe and was thrilled to find this. When it came my joy faded. I ordered a medium since I'm 5'4" and wear a size 8. The robe was a fine length with lots of room to wrap around the middle. Lots. One pocket was covered! However, the shoulders are very, very narrow to the point of being uncomfortable and difficult to maneuver. I can't return it because it's monogrammed. Im quite sad. I do like it, so will be spending more money for a size Large to get the shoulders to fit.

I did order the first robe according to your size chart. It was way to big. I returned it and brought another one later. I paid return fee, but didn't get my discount as before. Mt next robe fixes good.

I am surprised at the quality of material for the price. I expected a thicker more substantial robe. I won't return it but am disappointed. Worth half the price, imo. Be advised it's roomy and quite long, I'm 5'6 1/2" and it's at my ankles.

Yikes, I'm confused by all these great reviews. The fabric looks so cheap and the color choices are unappealing. Fits great though.....I love the proportions, minus the sleeves being a little too long. Deciding whether to keep it even though it is super ugly. The childrens robe is much nicer fabric but the proportions were off so I could get that to work.

Self gift for Xmas (something to wear while the grandkids opened gifts at the crack of dawn!). Picked 2x based on LLBean sizing rec - it tied nicely around my waist, but otherwise I was drowning in fleece fabric and very concerned about tripping on the hem going up and down stairs. Despite the warmth, gorgeous color and fabric (and the cost of returning), I'm sending this back and looking forward to better petite sizing for us generously endowed folx (please, LLBean, do better with your "plus" sizing!)

I received this robe for Christmas. I am 5'2" 125 lbs. the medium was way too big - the robe hit the floor and the sleeves covered my hands. I could have exchanged it for a small, but the fabric was very artificial and scratchy - not the cozy I am look for, so I exchanged it for the plush robe. The staff person on the phone was kind and helpful.

I had an old bean fleece robe for years and it was heavy and warm., but too long now. I donated it and ordered this one but was so disappointed. The color and fit are good, but the material looks already worn or pilled., and so thin too. Why did Beans go to this cheap material? The price is way too hefty for the robe that could have come from a discount store.

I've always worn LLBean robes and enjoyed them greatly. I was surprised and disappointed by the quality of the material on this new one. I'm still wearing the old LL Bean robe so the comparison was easy to make. Returned this robe.

I loved my old LL Bean robe, but it eventually wore out and I decided to buy this one. The fleece on this one is noticeably of lesser quality and everything about it screams cost-reduced. The belt is thinner, the stitching is single, etc. I would keep it if it was half the price, but instead I'm returning it. It's not a bad robe, just an overpriced one, and not worthy of the LLBean name.

I have this robe from 15 years ago and it is so superior to the new one despite it's age. Cheap material, weird fit.--old one was medium and it wrapped around nicely. New one large and it is akward fit. Very unsatisfied and disappointed with LL Bean.

I was hoping for a dense micro fiber to replace my old Nordic Brand robe but instead I found this robe rather fluffy but thin fabric disappointing. Its the first thing that I ever returned to LL Bean.BP

I recently purchased a fleece robe after my old one, that I purchased around 7 years ago, would not zip any more. I was so disappointed because my new one was so much thinner than my old one, and it doesn't even feel soft and cozy. I washed it before I wore it, because it smelled bad, and then it would not zip. I have not even worn it. It certainly does not stand up to the standards that L.L. Bean have made in the past years.
